Super Kev scores against the shite

Have you got a special moment or memory associated with 'Derby Day'. If so e-mail bluekipper.com

*I can't remember what year it was, but we had the bib kit. My dad had taken to my first away derby in the Shite's place (don't worry i had all my shots before setting foot in the place!!!) about 10 mins to go we were 2-0 up Gary Lineker and a mighty strike from Ratters, some southern kopite stands up in front of me, so i say to my dad i can't see, my asks the guy to sit down, he replies "well you've won haven't you!!!" to which my dad replies "Yeah but we haven't gloated yet"

Love the site guys, keep up the excellent work. Dave Bell. (10/12/04)

* My fave derby moment was Big Dunc scoring at Goodison and showing his tatt to the gobshites in the Bullens Road. Lovely Jubbly! Rob McG. (10/12/04)

Twirlin The Shirt

* Getting hit by a shoe while standing up on the bar in the kop with a massive 'Everton' Union Jack at the Sharpy game. After the game I trawled outside looking for the twat with one shoe on. Didn't see him so went off to town to get legless ! JIM FLETCHER. (10/12/04)

* Not a happy memory, but my first ever derby, the 0-0 in 2000. I've never forgiven Graham Poll for disallowing that goal. Every time I hear a RS say "Poll? He hates us, he never fookin' gives us anything," I want to beat them senseless! I've never seen a derby win live, and its all because of that man. Smudge. (10/12/04)

* Has to be sitting in the Kop in '95, and seeing Andrei score twice. I was only fifteen so I was s***ing myself. Managed (somehow) to keep my joy at a minimum for the first - went completely off my head for the second. Started getting above my station a little and started hurling abuse at all the Irish and Norwegian reds. Left straight after the whistle, fearing for my life. Skipped all the way home and got myself a two litre bottle of white lightening to celebrate with on a street corner. (don't tell me ma the last bit!!!). Marcus-I'm not-Bent. (10/12/04)

* Surprised no-one else has mentioned when the ball rebounds off Neil "Razor" Ruddock's rather large chest and nestles in the Street End net, in the "Cadamarterie" derby, it couldn't happen to a nicer bloke! (Danny's solo goal was not bad either) John Molyneux (08/12/04)

Andy Is Our King

* It has to be 1978 when Andy King scored a spectacular goal against Clemence for the blues to win (1 - 0) for the first time in years. Andy King about to give a pitch side interview when he is pushed down the tunnel by our friendly neighbourhood (red shite supporting) copper. Looked dead funny on the telly. On the way home I remember we stopped the car by some red shite fannies and asked for directions to Kings Drive. Being from Gloucester they didn't know so we told them, - Top right hand corner of Clemences net. We pissed ourselves laughing all the way home. Collblue. (30/08/03)

* 1. Bally's winner in 1967. I was only 5 and my Dad put me to bed early. He denied it but I knew he was going to the match without me. (the one and only time he did) I lay awake 'til he got in - a wins a win
2. Kingy's winner in 1978 - standing in Goodison Road with my Dad cos we couldn't get tickets. Didn't stop us singing though.
3. 2-1 in the cup in 1981. Varadi and Eastoe - still the best derby atmosphere I cam remember
4. Sharpy's goal at Anfield in '84. I was standing on the kop - they didn't like it one little bit.
Blue forever - Yosser. (30/08/03)

* My favourite derby moment was when either david unsworth scored and showed everyone his tattoo or when tomasz radzinski scored at anfield and practically jumped on the everton fans cos in the background you could see all the gobshites swearin at him it pure pissed dem right off. GOOD LUCK 2DAY LADZ .C'MON THE RAD
joanne da bluenosexxx. (30/08/03)

* Got to be Sharpy in '84 at analfield. I was just 14 but the utter bedlam that the goal caused will stick with me forever, it will probably be my final thought before I die!! I think I was in some sort of mental hysteria for a couple of minutes, being out of breath through celebrating in OUR corner of the Kop on the left hand side. Kopites burning scarves and bluenoses fighting to rob a sh*tty red flag and then standing on the barrier and burning it. I had never been so sick waiting for the final whistle to come, but when it did the realisation that we had just beaten probably the best team in Europe at time. This side was friggin' great and we knew it, the singing never stopped all week and I remember being taken to the headmasters office for not paying attention in class - explaining to him that I was still reliving the game from the previous Saturday. I still do now. Great day, the goal never ceases to send a shiver down my spine when I see it on tele or we talk about it. Dave Mc. (30/08/03)

That Goal!

* My fave was the 1 - 0 win at anfield when Franny and Westerweld were sent off. I was in a bar in Dublin, there were hundreds or red necks and only me and a guy who was the spit of Duncan supporting the blues. That pass from franny to super kev was class and credit to the lad for having a go at sander. Laughing at the top of my voice when that dirty so and so gerrard got sent off! - absolute class. Do you remember during the same game, Ball almost gave a penalty away to owen, everyone in the bar thjought ther ref had given a pen, oh how I called them all a bunch of sad gits. Great night!! Lee. (30/08/03)

* My favourite derby moment was when Paul Rideout scored in the last minute in the gwladdy end and clinched that win over them red shite bastards and me and my mate mick edgar got on the pitch to celebrate with all the players ill never forget Joe Parkinson on top of him celebrating that goal. from TONY MURRELL. (29/08/03)

* 1984. Wembley. Charity Shield. Grobelaar tries to trap the ball and spanks it into his own net. Best ten grand I ever spent! - Duncan's Head. Tanya. (29/08/03)

* 0-2 at Analfield, the Grobshite lets Ratcliffe's shot go under him. I got in Kop end and was put in disabled bit at main stand side cos my leg was in plaster - my brother took my crutches, put on a limp and also got top spec at side thanks to cops. When second one went in ( Was it Linkekar??) absolute mayhem. Loads of blues on the pitch, my bro' drops the crutches and legs it onto the pitch. He can walk! It's a miracle! Taunting gobshite Kopites all the way home. Pat Hurst. (07/08/03)

* Never been to a derby, but a classy moment or two I remember are Dunc burying the ball in the Gwladys on joe's 1st game in charge, and franny j beating the crap out of the Cheesehead. Happy days. Peter. (07/08/03)

* My favourite derby moment was my first, I was in the Kop for Phil Neal's testimonial and we were 2 down half time and Bobby Mimms came on in the second half, all the red shite were taking the piss out of me I was only 8, Final score 3-2 say no more !!! Cheers top site. Stu_the_blue. (07/08/03)

* It's got to be Sharpy's against the shite 84 Anny road end. I was actually in the Kop that day. I was in the middle of the Kop. By the time the players had got back to the centre circle after Sharpy's goal I was at
the bottom left of the Kop. A magical moment. The shite were burning blue & white flags and it was fever pitch for the rest of the game. But how we sung our hearts out for the mighty blue boys. What a Leo Sayer (all dayer) that was. Neil Rutherford. (07/08/03)

* Now i know its not right to say nice things about RS but when we beat them 2-0 at home with goals by ward and cottee (93??). We was one up at halftime and we was all chanting to grobelaar 'brucie what's the score' and he turned, grinned and showed us by making a circle in one hand and lifting a finger on the other hand, classic!!! Them moments are what makes the derby special!!!!
keep it blue! Colin E. (07/08/03)

* Too many memories. Not all of them good but all of them emotional. Probably the best is '84. Went to the game with 10 reds, all of us just about to leave school. Them taking the piss the whole way to the game. Me leaving them to stand to the left of the Kop, in the days when thousands and thousands of us would rendezvous there. Don't know how we all got the tickets but we did. We knew were were up to the task; having won the Cup the previous May there was a growing feeling that we could be great again. A bit like nowadays. It was a beautiful sunny Autumn day. We started well but you always used to worry that Rush would do something against us - he was the most frightening thing I've ever seen on a footy pitch....until Wayne. But when Sharpy scored...it was a goal you dream about. I'll never forget the shock of the whole ground and then the Everton fans going mental. That left hand side of the Kop went absolutely mad, the crowd used to slip down the steps in chaos but you never cared. We danced like crazy. I'd never seen us win at Analfield before. It was perfect. Wayne's goal vs Arsenal felt soooooo good but this was better. Some of the RSs in the Kop couldn't deal with it and there were a few fights. The lads I went to the game with ran away when they saw us at the meeting place. A week later we beat Man Utd 5-0 at Goodison and I remember me little brother and me looking at each other and saying "we're going to be the best in the world". And for that season we were. I've got a photo signed by Sharpy and when ever I want to feel good I look at it for a few minutes. Andy Edwards. (07/08/03)

* Absolutely loved Rooney's first at Analfield. All the red shite were shitting one before he came on, booing him when he was doing his warm up sprints right in front of the Kop. The chants of 'Rooney's gonna get yeah!' got louder and louder, and when he came off the bench the first thing he does is bounces Kirkland off him before spinning the ball on his finger and grinning cheekily at the blue boys in the away end. Absolute class! tpfeeley. (07/08/03)

* When Rooney clattered kirkland and all the sums fans were cheerin expectin Rooney to stay down but he just jumped up an left kirkland half dead on the floor. John Kelly. (07/08/03)

* Has got to be the Jeffers and Westerweld fight. Pure magic. Or the 0-0 draw at goodison about 96 when Southall played the best game off his life in the pouring rain, and at half time all the faggot liverpool players changed their shirts and big Nev stayed in his. A true blue and a true Welshman. Tim. (07/08/03)

Super Scores

* At Anusfield. Me, a kid, sitting on a crush barrier in the Anus Road end.
THE VERY FIRST TIME THE RED SHITE EVER WORE ALL RED FOR A NON EUROPEAN GAME (check that, it's true). Goalscorers: Pickering, Morrissey, Harvey and Stevens (?). Not sure about the last name. West in goal: St John missed a sitter. Bill Bothwell on BBC saying: "There's no doubt who's the best on Merseyside." A red shite mate of mine, Chris Potter, "Potty Red", walking towards the Rotunda with his red scarf trailing in the gutter. Me, very sympathetic. Peter Ferns. (07/08/03)

* When Franny Jeffers had a so called "FIGHT" more like handbags at dawn ! No so much memorable but it was really funny. toffeeknowz. (07/08/03)

* Andrei Kanchelskis' first derby, when he scored 2. Loved that first goal that megged a defender and flew past wavey davey in goal. Howelsy. (03/08/03)

* When Thomas Myhre caught robbie fowler in the face and he went down, only to become the first ever and only player to walk off the pitch with that kind of ligament damage (Drug problem really) . Or when unsy smacked fowler at goodison top class. Scott. (03/08/03)

* My most memorable Derby was my first trip to Analfield. When Kanchelskis banged in two goals. We were only about 15 and there was always 3 of us who went the match. But for this game only one of us got lucky. My mate Joe got his ticket through the serial number thing they used to do with season tickets for the big away games. Me and my other mate Chris went down to the ground with him with all the money we had that week in hope for some spares. We got two 8 quid tickets for £70 from a redshite tout and to this day i've never had any better value for money on anything. Luv the site fellas. Maca. (03/08/03)

* 1984. Wembley. Charity Shield. Grobelaar tries to trap the ball and spanks it into his own net. Best ten grand I ever spent! - Duncan's Head. (03/08/03)

* Has to be the Kanchelskis derby. Especially because I got a ticket off a kopite in work & was sitting next to him, oh how I laughed. regards Barney, Kirkby. (03/08/03)

* Grobellar trying to batter McManaman in front of the street end! (You can't put a price on entertainment like that). Naomi Jones. (03/08/03)

* It's got to be when Big Dunc scored that header, Joe Royle's first game in charge. Goodison was about to burst. The atmosphere was great. Then watching in again on video, the final whistle blows and some old fella runs on the pitch and Dunc throws his arms round him. Sends shivers down my spine thinking about it. Class. Love the site lads. EFC Col. (03/08/03)

* My best derby moments was super Kev scoring at the kop end right in front of all the kopites and probably when ferguson turned on he edge of area area at the street end to 1-1 and virtually end any chances the scum had of winning the league and also te match cadimateri made that kavame and ruddock look like fools before smacking the ball past james, great memories what a match.efcfoever. Keith. (03/08/03)

* The derby day i remember was when westerveld threw the ball at hucies back and it went in at the Gwladys end were i was sitting and the T$@*T of a ref graham barber sed he blew his whistle and all the red shite fans were made up cuz we would have beaten them T£@*T's!!!!!!!! From A EVERTONIAN Who has supported them all his life 16 Years!!!!!!!! Come on E V E R T O N!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! JAY.C 3. (03/08/03)

* My favourite derby moment was when duncan ferguson scored at the park end and showed his everton tattoo to the red shite sitting in the paddock. ste sherro. (03/08/03)

* When Rooney got a hat trick and caused a pitch invasion when he bent one in from 30 yards right in front of our fans!!!!!!!!! (Oh sorry that's not actually a Derby moment but if I said it in on Sunday night then it will be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) Everton Forever? - YES. (22/12/02)

* Danny Cadamateri an earl barrets hand ball on the line that just got dismissed! or jeffers' fight with westerveld was a classic! Loz. (22/12/02)

* Andy King Scoring. Brian M. (22/12/02)

* THE PETER BEARDSLEY DERBY!! - I can remember it like it was yesterday, went a goal down to Mark Wright. Sitting with my mate and his redshite dad, who began taking the piss. Mo Jo equalised and left the stage clear for Beardo to net the winner. I can remember me and my mate pulversing his dad, who wasn't impressed and said we couldn't have a mackies on the way home. Bitter twat. There was fireworks and 'Rule Brittania' got played over the tannoys. By the way I'm shittin one about Sunday. Lee McClean. (22/12/02)

* My favourite derby moment was Ward's opener at Goodison in about 1993 and Grobelar and McManaman started fighting, sweat revenge after being on the Kop in the previous derby when Rosenthal scored in the last minute. Benbows. (22/12/02)

* Sitting in the box at red shite, when kanchelskis cracked two in against them in his first derby at the kop end, was absolutely class, red shite around us were gutted. 20joeyY. (22/12/02)

* Shamfield, Super Kev, 1-0 to the blues, my birthday, drunken stupor. Just beats. Joe Royle's first game, and McManaman and Dropalar knocking the shit outta each other! From J. (22/12/02)

* Feb. 91, all three games in the cup saga, the blatant penalty that never was in the first game at the pit, 4-4 (what more needs to be said), then big dave watson belts one in the parkend net! johnefc. (21/12/02)

* Kevin Campbell poppin one in at the kop end, with carragher appealing for offside while standin in the kop itself.(what a fuckin' donkey). The sight of pockets of scousers(evertonians) jumpin amongst all the norwegians and welsh.....aaahhh more of the same on sunday please.
Also the height duncan got for that header in joe royles first game in charge i thought the roof was gonna come of the street end. gedmc (21/12/02)

* Sharpies goal against the shite at anfield and the speccy bloke in an anorak running on to the pitch to celebrate......bryan hamilton scoring with his ass .only for it to be disallowed.....kevin ratcliff showing defenders how to handle ian rush time and time again......Wayne clarke ending their record.......im sure there's many more ill note down when I've more time to think.
brian m. (21/12/02)

* Singing. you can stick yer fuckin' record up your arse, after we ended their run...was it wayne clarke who scored..either way it was great. reidscrossgray. (21/12/02)

* I can't remember how old I was, but i was on my dads shoulders, we were walkin out of the big exit in the old anny road..... bout a minute left..... rosenthal scores for them.... I've still never been more gutted about losin a game! 100 years.... everton f.c..... 1878....... the peoples club. johnefc. (21/12/02)

* Being in the left hand side of the kop looking at the pitch, & seeing the Rat score. It was heaven. Then Gary Lineacre scored with 15mins to go. 2-0 Game over. Those 15mins were great. We knew we'd won, & seeing a redshite work mate, & he done one with 5 minutes to go. The best feeling. Cookie. (21/12/02)

* After the 0-0 derby at our place when the ref disallowed Hutchinson's goal off his arse. I was sat on on one of them shitty central trains on the way back to Stafford. Being a Friday night everybody had been on the bladder and I was stuck on a carriage with with a group of about 6 or 7 kopite gobshites gobbing off at me about Everton and what the f@ck was I doing supporting them coming from Stafford- I was on me tod and we were approaching Runcorn station and I just knew I was gonna get a kicking off them when the train pulled up and they got off. Just as I was tensing myself up for the enevitable kicking a group of lads stormed through from the next carriage and they all spilled out onto the platform kicking the crap out of each other - I don't even think they were Blue Boys either. They were still fighting as the train pulled off from the station and I was pissing myself laughing thru the window cuz the Gobshites were getting a right kicking whilst trying to escape up the steps in the station. It was a classic end to the night. huggysmooch. (21/12/02)

* My favourite Derby moment was the cup game at Goodison 1967. Alan Ball scoring past the flying pig in the Street End. -WHATS OUR NAME. Rooneys neck. (21/12/02)
