100 Years House Mural
Goodison Park

Everton asked local Artist Mark Garroa, 43, from Garston to paint a giant mural of Dixie Dean’s outstretched palm holding the ‘Holy Trinity’ of Howard Kendall, Colin Harvey and Alan Ball on the side of the terraced house, closest to the Park End of Goodison Park. The house No. 5 Goodison Road is owned by lifelong Evertonian Terry Smith. He was happy for his house to become a work of art!

Terry says: "The club rang me and asked if I wouldn't mind having the mural on my house.“I jumped at the chance. My great grandfather was a chairman of the supporters club and the whole family are Blues."

This is part of the Celebrations of Everton’s 100 years in the top flight of English football. (12/12/02)
