Sam
Gets The Shirt
After
bidding £1000 for the Everton Shirt signed by Wayne
Ronney, Ov Collyer kindly donated the shirt back to Blue Kipper.
Together with Alder Hey Hospital, we had to find a good home
for the shirt. We couldn't have found a better Evertonian.
Sam
Jones is 11 years old, & is currently receiving treatment
in C3 ward in Alder Hey Hospital for bone cancer in his right
leg.
When
we arrived to present Sam with his shirt, he was already wearing
his own Everton shirt, had his Everton towel draped around
his bed, & was drinking from an Everton cup. Sam also
has a framed photo of his hero, Wayne Rooney next to his bed.
Call
Y'self an Evertonian?
Sam certainly is.
