BEST TEAM INDEX

90. I'm a True Blue Evertonian of Thirty Years standing now living on The Costa Blanca in Spain. This is The Best Everton Team in my opinion.

Southall

Stevens Labone Ratcliffe Wilson

Steven Reid Ball Sheedy

88. Based purely on players i have seen in blue with my own eyes (1991 onwards), my team would have to be...

1. Southall

2. Hibbert 5. Watson 4. Yobo 3. Hinchcliffe

7. Kanchelskis 8. Beardsley 6. Speed 11. Sheedy

9. Ferguson 10. Cottee

Subs: Martyn, Hutchison, Gravesen, Limpar, Sharp

Hibbert is the luckiest to get in based on a real lack of quality right backs since Stevens left. Sharp would have got in up front but i only caught the tail end of him. TC is still underated as a bit of a legend in my book. Beardo is the best player i have seen in blue by far. All the best, Jon (Crosby). (23/03/05)

My best side that I remember goes like this:

Southall

Stevens, Yobo, Watson D, Van Den Hauwe

Tricky Trev, Gravesen, Dacourt, Sheedy

Cottee 99, Sharp

John Reece. (18/02/05)

65. Best Everton team:

Southall

Stevens T.G Jones Ratcliffe Pejic

Stevens Gravesen Reid Thomas

Lineker Latchford

I like the look of this midfield, plenty of grit as well as invention. Not sure if Latch and linekar would have blended but it would be great to see. Id never heard of T.G Jones until the other week. I discovered after some digging that this bloke seems to have been a bit special. Stan Mathews reckoned he was the best he ever played against - so that's good enough for me. He' s relatively unsung compared to many blues of the past, but every reference I found suggested he was truly outstanding and years ahead of his time. Lets hear it for a true blue hero! John Ford. 9. Dixie 10.Rooney

He may be a FAT MANC now, but you can't deny how good a player he is. Pity he didn't have the balls to stick it out with the club that gave him everything he has now! Derek Knowles. (14/02/05)

62. Since my 1st game in 1993/4 season (a 5-3 home defeat against QPR), i've seen some shite but i gotta admit we've had some class, here's my XI:
