I'm only 16 years of age so forgive me, but they are all legends including judas aka rooney Southall Thanks. Danny Jones. (29/06/06) 208. 1.
Big Nev Blue Nose Till I Die. Mike Livo.(29/06/06) 207. Here's my best 11 1
Southall This team would bring the title to Goodison (an the Champions league)!!!!!!!!!!!!. John Payne. (29/06/06) 206. MY EXPERIENCE STARTED EARLY 90S HERE GOES SOUTHALL Lee McCowen. (29/06/06) 205. I have been watching for over 50 years. Best team: West
All called up for England. Bob Farrell. (17/06/05) 204. Big
Nev Graeme Stokes. (17/06/05) 203. I'm only 17 but I've been a toffee since the day I was born and if anyone can pick a redshite 11 fit enough to clean these lad boots I'll show me arse.
NIGE Ian. (17/05/06) 202. I'm only 17 so i'm going to go for the best 11 I've in a blue shirt. Southall
Mosses.D. (16/05/06) 201. I'm only 16 and even I know this is the team you want..... ( bear in mind all of these need to be at their best for obvious generation differences) Southall
Stevens D. Watson K. Ratcliffe
Kanchelskis Reid Bracewell Sharpe Dixie Dean
David Nesbit. (16/05/06) 200. Being a Blue for 43 years now I've seen some greats (and more than enough dross) but here's what I think is the best I have seen: Southall, Stevens, Dave Watson, Ratcliffe, Power, Steven, Ball, Reid, Sheedy, Sharp and Latchford. Subs: West, Labone, Bracewell, Kanchelskis and McKenzie Keep up the great work Paul (North Wales). (03/05/06) 199. My EFC 1st XI. For various reasons-from the 'modern' era. I'm under 40-just!!! This side would be riddled with aggression, skill and above all style. A match for anyone!!! 4-4-2 Big Nev-World's greatest ever goalie for any side in history. Seriously-has there been better-Yashin, Banks, Shilton? NAH! Stevens-athlete,
pace, aggression Steven-with
Stevens-unbeatable-best
right sided pair ever-underrated player was Tricky Big Duncan-the lad is Bluer than blue-heading ability unsurpassed in the modern era. He would die for the cause-what a Centre Forward! Rooney-this kid can (and will ) do a Maradona and win the big one for England in 2006. That will be our third Jules Rimet winner in the side. Nice Karma me thinks Manager (Controversial!) Has to be David Moyes. He has done superbly and I like the guy's style. 'The Peoples' Club': A Masterstroke!!! Another who wouldn't hide in a ruck either. Against Alex Ferguson ( A guy I really respect BTW) the other night he was sound. Talk about leading from the front man! Never saw Dixie Dean TE Jones etc-me grandad said Dixie was something else on earth, pace, aggression, skill what price today? £50M? ditto TEJ. My old man also said Tony Kay was out of this world. Really good. Out of order what happened to TK, but very pleasing to hear he still has a soft spot for the Peoples Club. Also, this side could seriously compete in ANY Football Ruckers XI. Some very tough boys out there; never mind the Manager! The site is a blinder BTW lads! Keep up the good work-exiled Scouser in London-see you in the Blue Kipper lounge next season! We are coming up! Get the beers in. Kind Regards, Kevin Perkes. (03/05/06) 198. I THINK THIS JUST HAS TO BE THE BEST 11 HISTORY SPEAKS FOR ITSELF DOESN'T IT.... SOUTHALL Danny. (03/05/06) 197. BEST TEAM EVER (that I have seen) 1.
Neville Southall Theboymarshall. (03/05/06) 196. Here is my best Everton team. Manager
- D,Moyes. Papa lazarou - Speke. (03/05/06) 195. I'm only 16 so I haven't seen the best of Everton, but i've still got more sense than to put the bastard ogre in the team. This is my best XI. 442. Southall Matt Ferrie. (03/05/06) 194. Been a Bluenose since first game in '68' against Wolves. Seen some loads of greats and seen some shite..........very hard to miss out legends greats like Young, Lawton, Sharpy, Harvey, Kendall etc but................ GK
: The Binman Knocker. (03/05/06) 193. My team, based on players active during my years of supporting Everton, a good thirty years now (I am 35).
Southall Stevens Ratcliffe(C) Watson Hinchcliffe Steven Reid Gravesen Sheedy Lineker Gray
Subs: Martyn, Hibbert, Kanchelskis, Limpar and Rooney (He would've been in the starting-eleven if he hadn't jumped ship so fast.) Keep up the good work! Johan. (03/05/06) 192. Southall Stephens - Ratcliffe - Watson - Van Den Hauwe Steven - Reid - Speed - Sheedy Big Dunc - Lineker Subs - Martyn - Sharp - Bracewell - Gough - Latchford Richard Higham. (03/05/06) 191. Southall Neill Ward. (03/05/06) 190. Supported the blues since 75....what a team this would have been! .....CHAMPIONS LEAGUE WERE AVIN A LAUGH!!!!!! SOUTHALL BIG DUNC, SHARP SUBS; HEATH, MCCALL, HORNE, LINEKAR. Barnsey. (26/01/06) 189. My Top 11. Southall Stevens ~ Ratcliffe ~ Mountfield ~ Van Den Hauwe Kanchelskis ~ Gravesen ~ Sheedy Rooney Dixie Dean ~ Lineker Subs:- Sharp, Gray, Big Dunc, T. Steven, Stubbs. Lee Esslemont, Corby Northants. (26/01/06) 188. Here is the best XI I have ever seen play in a blue shirt... Southall Cahill in a best ever team? Surely not! Well, our midfield has been shite for the best part of 20 years and he adds something we haven't had for a long, long time. Special mention to Billy Kenny too, if Cahill didn't exist then I would have put him in next to Reidy. Cheers fellas, love the site. Joff Benn - Crocky lad living in Wigan these days. (26/01/06) 187. I THINK OF MY 15 YEARS AROUND BEING AN EVERTON FAN (SOME BEFORE MY TIME), THESE ARE MY BEST X1: GK. Neville
Southall Thomas Parry. (26/01/06) 186. This is limited to players seen first hand. Goalkeeper:
Neville Southall Substitutes:
Gordon West, Richard Gough, Trevor Steven, Joe Parkinson, I first saw the Blues in the very early sixties, but only Tony Kay from the champions of '63 makes the starting line up. I was tempted to pick Alex Parker as I'll always remember when he marked George Best out of a game, but I only saw him a few times. Lineker has been by far the best predatory striker in the last forty odd years, so he's in despite having only the one season. Big Dunc just gets the nod in front of Sharpy. Pete Lynch ( now in Italy ). (26/01/06) 185. We wouldn't fear anyone with a team like this...rock solid at the back and goals from all over the pitch.... 1. Neville Southall 5.
Ratcliffe 6. Gough 4. Reid 7. Kanchelskis 11.Sheedy 8. Cahill 9.Dean 10. Gray Subs: Myhre, Watson, Gravesen, Lineker, Sharpe Pajrsmith. (12/01/06) 184. BEEN WATCHING SINCE 83 SO MY TEAM IS FROM THEN ON .. SOUTHALL STEVENS, WATSON, RATCLIFFE, HINCHCLIFE STEVEN, REID, PARKINSON, SHEEDY FERGUSON, LINEKER MANAGER : MOYES Jared. (12/01/06) 183. Southall Stevens, Ratcliffe, Watson, Van Den Hauwe Steven, Parkinson, Ball, Sheedy Lineker, Gray Subs: Martyn, Mountfield, Kanchelskis, Beardsley, Heath Mark Ellis. (12/01/06) 182. Southall, Stevens, Gough, Watson, Hinchcliffe, Gravesen, Reid, Kilbane, Ferguson, Sharp, Sheedy, subs: West, Gray, Horne, Lyons, Weir. Lister. (12/01/06) 181. Watching Everton since 1971 so here goes: 1. Neville Southall 2.
Gary Stevens 7.
Trevor Steven 8.
Peter Beardsley 12.
