FA Cup 1/4 Final. Sun. 10th Mar 2002 Att: 26,950 Kick-Off: 1.00pm (Live on BBC 1.) Everton : Simonsen, Pistone, Weir, Stubbs, Clarke, Unsworth, Gemmill, Linderoth, Gascoigne, Radzinski, Moore Bench: Gerrard, Blomqvist (Gemmill 75m), Chadwick (Moore 45m), Alexandersson (Linderoth 45m), Cleland This has been a fuckin nightmare of a journey. I don't think I can cope anymore. Everything was going ok ish for the first halfan hour. It seemed even at that early stage that this game was destined for a nil niler. But no. Pisto and Simmo fucked up between. Pistone headed a hopeful punt back to the goal not knowing that Simmo was racing out for the same ball. The ball went past him and Whelan had an easy tap in. Fuck me 5 minutes later we were 3 down. Game over. Don't ask me how. I don't know. We just lost the plot. So many of the lads were going home at half time. I couldn't blame them. It was a disaster. We have been doing ok at the back in the last games. So why did we have to go to a back 5 with 3 in the middle and 2 midgets up front. Nick Chadwick came on for Joe Max. He done very well. He was busy and created a few chances for himself and the Rad. We have been asking all season for this lad to be given a go all season. He must play a big part over the next nine games. He gets the vote for Blue Kippers Star Man. Alexandersson came on for Linderoth. He was shite. On 2 occasions he got into positions with time to put a cross in. Both went into the keepers arms. Fuck off back from wherever you came from. Walter said that Ginola wasn't required for this game and was allowed to go home for the week-end. So why was he signed. Surely his ability to put over quality crosses is something we need. At the end The Rad threw his shirt into the crowd, but it didn't stop most of the boys from chanting."Walter must go". I have to say they are right. Something has to happen before its too late We are in deep shit. We need some minor miracle if we are going to stay in the Premiership. We need something to happen quickly. If that means that Walter should resign or be sacked so be it. We have got 9 games left to reach 42 points. That means we have to win at least 3 and draw 3 or win 4 of them. With the performance just given it doesn't seem possible. I can't write anymore. I'm so fuckin' depressed. Walter: Will I stay? Definitely. I will soldier on, I have done so before and I will do so again "When you go through a spell like we are having, you expect criticism. It goes with the territory. "And people will criticise at a club like Everton where the level of expectation is so much higher than other clubs that are in a similar position in the table. "You have to learn to handle it the best way you can. "It is going
to be a grim fight for survival now for everyone down at the bottom,
not just us." Daved Ginola has done one . He has been told he is NOT in the starting 11 so therefore he has fucked off to London to see his family and get some hair extentions. If he isn't playing we at Blue Kipper are hoping that Nick Chadwick is given the chance to play up front with the Rad. This lad has been scoring for fun ( I've wanted to say that for ages) in the Reserves. Walter play him. Gazza has been told he will be playing. This could mean he will be the 5th man in midfield an Walter will play the Rad up front. I give up guessing what Walter will do anymore. One thing is for certain the Toffeemen won't have a better chance than tomorrow to get to the semis. Because Boro are worse than us. Come on you Blues (09/03/02)
