Bench: Nyarko (Linderoth 46m), Pascucci (Radzinski 62m), O'Hanlon (Clarke 62m), Barry. A Moogan (Pembridge 84m), B Moogan.

Scorer: Radzinski (61m)

Simmo was his casual self. Did ok. Weir, & Clarkey were on top at the back. Hibbo & Nace both got forward to support. Watson did well. He was always on the end of things. Could have scored. Was brought down for the pen. Toby had a great half. Really on top of his game. Li Tie, who still isn't an Everton player, did ok. Pembo did ok, until he missed the pen. Super lead the line well, but was a bit off the pace at times. Hit the post when he should have scored. The Rad looked sharp. Scored a gift of a goal. Nyarko did ok. Pascucci, who we all thought had gone back to Italy had a few good touches, but doesn't look like a premiership player. O'Hanlon looked a steady player, & Moogan only had a few touches. Typical friendly. A good run out.

Quotes

Alan Irvine on Alex Nyarko says: “I’m sure he’ll be very happy about tonight. I wasn’t at the club when the incident happened, but I remember it well. It was obviously something that made life difficult for him – and it was pleasing for me also to see the excellent reception he got from the fans. I think he enjoyed the experience at Rochdale. I thought he did well, especially when he first came on. He made a couple of really good passes. As the second half wore on, Rochdale found it difficult to get possession and we found it easy to pass the ball around the back, so the impact of the midfield as a whole lessened as the game went on. I think it will take some time for him to get used to the pace of the English game again, because I think that it’s played at a slower tempo in France. But he’s come in and slotted in well and we’re pleased with him.”

Jogger after the penalty miss: "Pembo. Go throw shit at yerself"
