The Toffeemen are struggling to put a midfield together. With the bad boys Arteta and Neville suspended, there is a doubt with Simon Davies. He has an ankle problem, but Bazza Rathbone hopes he can make the trip. Nuno Valente has picked up an injury against the shite, while Per Kroldrup remains a doubt. Gary Naysmith has been added to the squad as emergency cove. We haven't seen Catweazle since April last season when we beat Crystal Palace 4-0. Big Dunc has been added to the squad. Moyesy says:"We have got to stop conceding goals. We went into the game against Liverpool to make it harder for them to score against us but they scored two early on and the plan went out of the window. But the players never let their heads drop and I have told them it's a start. Effort is the least we can give people. At the moment we are missing our ability to play much better than we have been doing. We need to try and get that back quickly. I hope the recovery comes from the heart. We will all be at Sunderland tomorrow trying to get a result. We hope that everyone sticks with us." Tiny Tim says: "Sunderland couldn't come quick enough and we have to take advantage of where Sunderland are in the table, although they are probably thinking the same about us. We won't be going there being complacent. We will go there all guns blazing." Everton from: Wright, Martyn, Turner, Kroldrup, Yobo, Weir, Bent, Beattie, Ferguson, Davies, McFadden, Li Tie, Kilbane, Cahill, Valente, Ferrari, Osman, Hibbert, Hughes, Wynne, Wilson, Naysmith. Kipper's Everton XI To Start: Martyn, Hibbert, Yobo, Weir, Ferrari, Osman, Davies, Kilbane, Cahill, Beattie, McFadden. Jogger's Bet: £10 on Biffa to first goal (5/1) |

Sunderland have failed to win a games at home all season. Oh my God doesn't that make you feel sick. Mick McCarthy believes he has a great chance of getting that first home win. He points to two things that will help him and his team. Sunderland's game was postponed against Blackburn and he's playing Everton. Alan Stubbs can expect to be on the bench against his old team. The
one with the crooked nose says:"As soon as the game was
called off, I thought, alright, let's take the positive out of it. We've
all got down there, the fans have gone down and that's the horrible
side of it. But, hey, hold on. We've got Everton coming to our place,
they played against Liverpool. Alright, they were beaten and had two
players sent off, unfortunately for them. Of course, I feel for Moyesie
but I hope it benefits us |
