We won 3-2. It has been the longest trip of my life. I'm pretty happy with the performance. Victor changed the game when he came on and his winner was a whopper. He also made Timmy goal with a great run.

Andy Johnson can't buy a goal at the moment. I just hope he gets a bit of luck against Watford, because he really does look the part.

I'm off to bed

Quotes After The Game

Moyeys says: "We need to make sure every player is ready - and ready to play when we call on them. The players have come along as a group and the majority of them are getting there."

"There are people like Sandro Pistone who have missed a whole season so he is probably a little bit away from full fitness just now. But I am sure he will be delighted to get another 45 minutes under his belt.

"Nuno Valente has only been back a week and he played an hour so we are pleased with that."

"I thought in the second half we played really well, and Aberdeen scored a goal against the run of play. I thought the boys took their goals well. Tim scored a typical Tim Cahill goal and Victor Anichebe took his goal well as well."

Everton Team News

The Toffemen will have quite a few missing tomorrow. Tony Hibbert and Andy Van Der Meyde are defo out. And there are doubts over Victor, Davie Weir and Simon Davies.

Everton from: Howard, Wright, Turner, Weir, Stubbs, Lescott, Naysmith, Pistone, Boyle, Osman, Arteta, Davies, Cahill, Neville, Kilbane, Beattie, Anichebe, Carsley, Johnson, Nuno Valente, McFadden

Alan Irvine says:"David Weir came of training on Monday morning and Victor Anichebe did as well so we need to assess where they are now. David felt his groin and Victor got a bit of a knock on his ankle so the one that would worry me more is the David Weir one because it is a strain. I would expect Victor's to settle down fairly quickly."
