Moyesy says: "I thought it was two points dropped today. It was a poor first half performance, I don't know if we deserved to be a goal down. We gave away a shoddy goal. We just made a couple of wrong decisions prior to the goal and we lost a terrible goal. Obviously the goals change the game, and changed the way everybody sees the game, me included. Because of the nature of the goal it made it even worse. But I don't think Reading would have deserved to beat us today. For grit and determination I have a great group, and certainly we got what was due by getting one goal, but I felt we were due another goal,"

There has been plenty of talk from inside the club on how we've got to get a result against Reading after the dismal FA Cup performance. Here is what people have had to say

David Moyes says: "We have 16 matches left and we have got to be totally focused on each of them now. We really need to drive on. We owe people after Sunday. Not perhaps in terms of our performance, because it was such a strange game. But the result on Sunday means we owe people. We have to stand up and be a bit bigger and tougher than we have been. Quite simply we have to get some results."

Captain Neville says: "If you are not playing well, then you don't deserve to be in the team. It's up to us to show our mettle. We are disappointed last week as we really wanted a Cup run. We need to go out there and prove that we deserve to be where we are in the table. We need to prove to be the team that we believe we are. The league campaign is absolutely massive for us. It's the only thing we've got left to play for. If we beat Reading, people will forget about the Cup.

"We need to go on a run now. We had settled into the pack a bit but if we can get maximum points from our home games, and mirror the form we showed at this time last year, then we will be right up there in the European places."

Tim Howard says: "You know if you are not doing your job, you will get replaced. We have just got to keep our heads above water. Now we have got to make sure we stay in a position so that when Tim, Hibbo and Sandro are back, we can really push on. This squad is good enough to be up there challenging for Europe.
