UEFA Cup 2007/08 Group Draw

Ticket Arrangements For UEFA Cup Home Games

Everton have confirmed ticket prices for the Uefa Cup group stage. The Toffees will face Greek side Larissa (October 25) and Russians Zenit St Petersburg (December 5) at Goodison Park during their group A campaign.

As with the Metalist Kharkiv game, ticket prices are significantly reduced. Season ticket holders will be able to secure their usual seat* for the Larissa game from October 11, for £15 (adults) and £5 (concessions).

Evertonia members will also be able to purchase available tickets from October 11, at the general sale prices. They will then be able to purchase any unclaimed season ticket holders' seats on October 16.

General sale then commences on October 17, with prices set at £20 (adults) and £10 (concessions).

Supporters are urged to buy their tickets early, and the usual outlets are in operation - buy from the Park End Box Office, via 0870 442 1878 or online at evertonfc.com

Due to Uefa requirements, certain areas of Goodison Park are unavailable. Season ticket holders normally seated in these areas must buy tickets in available areas. (10/10/07)

Reaction After The Draw

Moyesy says: "I am quite pleased. It is a decent draw now that the games have come out as well. The travelling isn't too far and it is great for the supporters because they will be able to get to the games quite easily. The Greek team at home and the Russian team at home is much easier than travelling there. Travelling is an issue for the fans and for the team as well because you want to limit the amount of travelling the players have to go through. It can be tiring.

How the games will go, who knows because we were given the maximum test by Metalist so you can never turn around and say there is an easy game. We know all the teams are going to enjoy being in the group stages - like us. It is the experience we want and we know three teams qualify so we have to make sure we are one of those teams. The support we had in Kharkiv was fantastic and for so many fans to go so far was great to see. That kind of support is very welcome and I am sure all the cheap flights for our away games have already been booked!" (10/10/07)

Stubbsy says: "I think we can go a long way. I think the way the draw has been made - the games we have got at home are probably the ones we wanted at home. We know we are a tough team to beat at Goodison Park and if we can go and get anything away from home in terms of draws or wins it would be a massive help for us. We will be looking to win at home and at this stage a few wins can more or less guarantee you a place going through." (10/10/07)

Larissa: Larissa lie mid table in the Greek League with five points from four games. They drew 3-3 with bottom of the League at home at the weekend. Larissa turned over Blackburn in the UEFA knockout round. Former Everton player Ibrahima Bakayoko scores the odd goal for them.
