Everton:
Howard,
Neville,
Yobo, Jagielka, Lescott Bench: Nash, Hibbert, Baines, Rodwell, Cahill for Yakubu (62m), Vaughan, Anichebe for Saha (81m). Referee: Phil Dowd Same again for Everton as Moyesy resisted the temptation to bring back Tim Cahill and gave the team that did so well against Man Utd a chance to see if they could go one better and win. Everton started well and played some good togger with Pienaar and Arteta prominent. Everton had the ball in the net from Saha after good play with Yakubu, but it was cancelled out for offside. Everton continued the good start and Arteta first and then Saha again went close. Bolton were hoofing the ball up, but Yobo and Jags were looking confident and dealing with the long balls. Not the greatest game, but Everton continued to play the footy with Fellaini, Yakubu and Saha doing well. The only problem Everton seemed to have was with the conditions with the ball zipping about on the wet surface. After 30 minutes it looked like Everton would be the team who would go ahead. With minutes to go Bolton could have gone ahead with Gary Cahill heading wide with Howard slipping and stranded. Half Time: Bolton 0 EVERTON 0 The game was still a very dull affair with both sides misplacing passes. Bolton started getting their noses in front and Moyesy decided to make a change and brought on Tim Cahill but brought off The Yak. He wasn't happy and pushed Phil Neville away, after he tried to say "well played". Everton still couldn't get a foot on the ball and put some pressure on Bolton. The game was becoming a poor scrappy affair. Everton put a few passes together and got a few crosses in, but nobody was on the end of it. It looked like the pitch was causing most players problems. The simple of passes were being misplaced. A long shot by Riga was well saved from Howard, but that was one of the only efforts on target. Bolton were having the best of the closing minutes. Big Vic came on for Saha who hadn't done anything in the second half and immediately won a header on goal, but wide. In the final minutes Everton should have had a penalty when Fellaini was pushed when he went for the ball. We got a corner. From the corner Arteta summed up the night with a dreadful corner which was hit directly out behind for a goal kick. Just when we were thinking it was 2 points dropped, Fellaini scored with a header following a cross from Peanuts. Fuckin incredible. He was booked for celebrating a goal and now faces a ban. Big Vic could have made it 2, but his shot was smothered by the keeper. Man Of The Match had to be Fellaini. A shit game but 3 points. Full Time: Bolton 0 EVERTON 1

Moyesy says: "This team really stick at it. We were a little bit fortunate tonight but we dug in and kept a clean asheet and that gave us a chance of winning the game. I don't think either team did enough to win it really but the positive is that we kept a clean sheet which we have not done yet this season. It followed on from the fantastic performance against Manchester United. Now all we need to do is take this away form to Goodison and start getting some results there. |

What Do You Think The Score Will Be? e-mail info@bluekipper.com * A nailed on draw, 1-1 equal each other out. Tony Graham * Everton to win 2-0 Neville in the 1st half and then Tony Hibbert to come off the bench and seal it in the last minutes of the 2nd half. Melia (Mels) * 2-1 Everton. Saha and The Yak to get amongst the goals. Steve from Norway Everton to win 1-0. First clean sheet and a goal from Fellaini. Maria Steele * 1-0 Everton. A clean sheet and Jags to head home!! Mark (New Zealand) *
1-0 to Everton,
goal from Tiny in first half. David Mann * It's another 3- 2 win for The Blues. Yak with 2 and Saha to break his duck. Paul McGough * Everton to win 2-0 Louis Saha to finally score his first goal and Cahill back on the goal trail. Gus * 1-1 draw with The Yak scoring. Phil * 2-1 for us. 2 from Louie Saha. Chris * Nice to see so many of my fellow blues confident about tonight's result. I personally think Moyes will change the team around tonight as Bolton will be even more physical than what Utd were on Saturday, if possible! I think Hibbert will come in and Neville will go into the holding position in midfield with the Yak alone up front, Tiny on the bench with Saha, Vaughan and co. I can't see us get beat and personally if we score first we will win comfortably. Problems will only arise if Bolton score first. Lets hope a win and a clean sheet. C. Fieldstead |

With only Lars Jacobsen (remember him) still out injured, Moyesy has a near full squad to pick from now that Tony Hibbert and Andy Van De Meyde are back fit and Tim Cahill has finished his suspension. He will have to decide if you give the team which played so well on Saturday or bring in Tim Cahill for his goals. Baz Rathbone says: "Tony Hibbert had a fitness test on Saturday and he was okay really, and obviously knowing Tony, he was desperate to play. But we decided it was sore and we would give it some more rest before the game on Wednesday. Hopefully he will be training Monday and he will be ready for Wednesday. If he trains okay today he will be ready for Wednesday but we will have to wait and see on that one. Other than that, there were no evident injuries from the Man Utd game. So hopefully, all being well, nobody will come in with any knocks." Moyesy says: "There is never an easy game in the Premier League and certainly never one at Bolton whether I've been there as manager of Preston or Everton. It is always a hard game and you know what you will get. You always get a physical encounter at Bolton but it has always been a good one as well. Football can be played in many different ways, it doesn't need to just be played in one way and that's part of the job, you have to deal with what they throw at you. We have played some good football in recent weeks, but not picked up the points, so what we need to do is keep playing well but over the 90 minutes." Kipper's XI To Start: Howard, Neville, Yobo, Jagielka, Lescott, Arteta, Osman, Fellaini, Pienaar, Saha, Yakubu. Everton from: Howard, Baines, Neville, Hibbert, Yobo, Lescott, Jagielka, Arteta, Osman, Fellaini, Cahill, Pienaar, Vaughan, Saha, Anichebe, Yakubu, Nash, Rodwell, Valente, Jutkiewicz, Gosling, Baxter.
