As the emotive battle carries on whether to leave Goodison for Kirkby, Blue Bill and Moyesy have both issued statements urging the fans to look on the proposed new venue for Everton as a new beginning. KEIOC also issued a statement today in that they are to hold a public consultation this Friday. Representatives of the Blues Board have been invited to the consultation, but as of yet no answer is forthcoming, as it is said that Blue Bill and Bully Beef are looking for protective headgear in Royal Blue. October Communications who are pushing for the Bestway site by the Mersey Tunnel however will be present. Seconds Out !! Blue Bill says: "No-one loves Goodison Park more than I do but we have reached a critical moment in our history. Remaining at our current home is my preferred option, but that has simply not proved possible. So we must look to a future in a new home, one that will provide both the benefits of modern design and the heart of Goodison." Moyesy says: "In the past few years it has become patently clear that only those clubs which can boost an impressive financial clout can truly compete for the major prizes. What we don't want is to be left behind. I want the best for Everton in both the short and long terms. The stadium in Kirkby will provide us with the facilities we need to keep moving forward." KEOIC Statement says: "We are now in a position to announce that there will be a public consultation which will take place on Friday 3rd August 2007 starting at 10.00am and will go on till 5.00pm This
will give the Everton Family the opportunity to consider the other options
before ballot papers drop through the letterboxes. As well as KEIOC
there will also be representatives of October Communications who are
the PR company for Bestway. Everton Football club have also been invited
to the consultation day .We will also be conducting our own exit poll
on the day, to allow our fan base to register their opinions once they
have had an opportunity to look at the alternatives."

Everton described rumours today of under 18's not getting a chance to air their views in the forthcoming Ground Ballot as 'mischief making' by some mischief making type people. Ian Ross, Everton's PR Guru talking on the C Beebie Channel assured all Junior Blues that their voices would be heard, and he refuted claims that children should be seen and not heard. Sorry I can't think of any more cliche's. Everton's PR Guru Ian Ross says: "In response to these silly rumours which would appear to be circulating we feel we must point out that it is absolute nonsense to suggest that we have decided to ban Under-18s from participating in the forthcoming ballot. We made it clear from the outset that our objective was to be as inclusive as was possible in terms of handing a vote to our fan-base. Whilst we do, self-evidently, have to impose certain criteria, we have spent many months attempting to ensure that as many supporters as possible will be eligible to vote. The final number will be around 38,000 - and we do believe that to be a very satisfactory figure. Those who choose to spread rumours and untruths are either very badly misinformed or simply mischievous - the former I hope." (26/07/07) |

Ventura County Fusion (Some Lads On The Beach) 0 Everton 4 Everton had an impromptu game against a local team in LA as Everton were training. These lads came up to them and said: "Do you Guys wanna play ball?" Steven Pienaar, Joleon Lescott, Leon Osman, and James Beattie (honest) scored in the 4-0 win. (25/07/07) |

The Blues today carried on their PR offensive when they revealed virtual images of the proposed new stadium in Kirkby. The debate however rages on, with fans spilt over leaving the City Boundaries, to some not wanting to leave the Goodison footprint at all. Bully, Blue Bill and Tesco Terry are all calling for the Blues to move to Kirkby, and it is said we could be playing in stadium within four years, one thing though, I hope they fix the floodlights, they seem to be pointing in the wrong direction. Breakfast In America, Well Tea Really The Blues have jetted out to the States today minus the unfortunate James Vaughan who was injured in last nights friendly. Whilst on their travels they will play Real Salt Lake, and then have a training camp in LA, where Posh and Beck's have invited the boys rounds for cream tea and shite music. The full squad minus Tiny for the week long break. Moyesy
says: " This should be a beneficial trip for the squad.
We have enjoyed our tours to the US in previous pre-seasons and I am
sure this will be the same."

Keith got all Evertonians talking today with his comments about "Deal Of The Century" and "No Plan B". Liverpool council leader Warren Bradley has had his say. Knowsley Council have had their say. Dave Kelly, spokesman for KEIOC has had his say Here is what they've all had to say Keith says: "Emotions will be running very high on this issue and I understand that. As much as it would pain them to do it, fans will realise it is the only way forward to the future. The Evertonians are very reasonable. It is an amazing deal, the deal of the century. If the heart rules the head, we will never get an opportunity like this again. We will be left with very little debt at the end of it. The deal compares very favourably with other clubs building new stadiums. We will be getting a very nice stadium for a small amount of money. There is no other site that we have found that will involve the same level of contribution. The money to build the stadium is completely different to the money that goes on the team. This is bricks and mortar. But the extra revenue brought in from the new stadium will enable us to better compete on the pitch. It means that there will be more money flowing back to the manager, something in the region of £10m a year. There is a long way to go. If the fans vote in favour, which I am confident they will, we still have to go through the planning stages. There are potential for delays, but if everything goes smoothly, we could be ready by 2010. If we have to carry on at Goodison, there will be serious issues. Attendance numbers will go down and then revenue will go down and when that happens, you can’t compete. There is no Plan B. There is no other option." David Kelly says: "We believe that anybody who is a match-going Everton supporter should be able to take part in the ballot, simple as that. Supporters of the so-called People’s Club should not be disenfranchised. Bill Kenwright said he will put six or seven hours aside to discuss the ground move and the ballot, so I am shocked at their announcement. We had assurances it would be the first of a series of meetings to discuss any fears and seek our input. Now they are saying they will enter into no further negotiations now they are in the ballot process. They gave us assurance there would be a consultation on this. Now the people of Kirkby are going to have a consultation but no ballot, and Everton supporters are going to have a ballot but no consultation." Knowsley Council spokesman says: "Everton’s move to ballot their fans marks a further phase in the consultation on the possibility of Kirkby becoming the new location for the football club. It is critical that the opinions of Everton fans are known alongside the views of our own community. Thousands of Kirkby residents and businesses have already had their say on how they want to see their town centre developed through a series of consultation events including a two-day community consultation drop in, which was followed up with a postal questionnaire to every household in Kirkby, neighbourhood meetings, meetings with businesses and a road show. We asked anyone with an interest in Kirkby to tell us what improvements they want to see made to their town centre. The results are being independently analysed and will be published in August.” Warren
Bradley says: "The difficult thing for us has been the
exclusivity period between Everton, Knowsley and Tesco which means we
have not been able to have formal talks with them. I have spoken to
Terry Leahy about the sites we have identified as possible new homes
for Everton and the fact that there is no reason Tesco could not build
their store there either. Jogger says: "Anyone fancy a bucket?"(17/07/07) Now You Have Your Say Mail Kirkby or Not Kirkby Everton have today announced that many Evertonians have the chance to vote to ascertain the level of support for a possible relocation to a new stadium in Kirkby. Not 100% sure about what that means. Let Mr Wyness explain Keith Bully Wyness says: "As we promised at our Annual General Meeting in December of last year, we will be holding a ballot amongst our supporter-base to ascertain the level of support for a possible relocation to a new stadium in Kirkby. There was never any question of us reneging on that promise and today we are able to give a basic outline of that balloting process. Self-evidently this does represent a pivotal moment in our great Club's history and we believe it is only right and proper that our supporters are involved in the discussion and decision-making processes. We have worked studiously to ensure that this ballot is as inclusive as is possible. The plan all along was to include as many of our loyal supporters as we could - and we believe we have achieved this. We are confident that a very, very high percentage of those who have historically supported the Club will now have the right to have their voices heard. Anyone who has held a season-ticket in the previous three seasons, along with anyone who has purchased one for the coming campaign, will be eligible as will any shareholder who has not held a season-ticket since the end of the 2003-2004 season. In addition all adult members of Evertonia during 2006/07 will also be eligible to participate. Holders of complimentary season-tickets are not eligible and anyone who holds more than one season-ticket in his or her name will be permitted just one vote, an industry-standard requirement and one supported by the Electoral Reform Society who will arrange and conduct the ballot on our behalf. We have worked hard to ensure that as many genuine supporters as is possible will be able to participate and we believe that the final number of supporters who will be eligible will be in excess of 33,000 - a figure which, roughly, corresponds with the number of Evertonians present for our Premiership fixtures at Goodison Park. We
anticipate that ballot papers will go out in early-August which, with
a three-week voting period, should provide us with a result towards
the end of that month." (16/07/07) |

Everton took their 1st team squad to St Andrews Bay for a 3 day training stint today. They are at the home of golf, but unfortunately the players won't be doing any clubbing. With Cahill, Neville, Naysmith, Howard and Yobo missing the trip due to International calls, the squad welcomed new boy Lukas Jutkiewicz, and newly signed Brazilian Anderson de Silva, as well as Andy van der Meyde and James Beattie. Two players many fans thought would be moving on. The trip is all about getting ready for the 1st match of the season against Wigan. Alan Irvine says: "I am sure there will be a few stiff muscles in the morning - but that is what this stage of pre-season is all about." (03/07/07) |

Arteta & Cahill Sign Until 2012 Everton's two best players over the last 3 seasons have signed contact extensions until 2012. This will give the fans a boost with nothing happening on the transfer front. Lets hope this may encourage the board to speculate on few other top players. There was speculation, which started on a fan's message board that West Ham would make a bid for both players. (How do the media fall for it?) It even prompted Moyesy to say: "West Ham couldn't afford our players, any of them". The two midfield players are big favourites with the fans. Cahill won the Blue Kipper Trophy in 2005, Arteta won it in 2006 and 2007. The deals were concluded earlier in the Summer. As is the case with most of these announcements, Blue Bill has said a few words. Blue Bill says: "David Moyes and myself were keen to get these important extensions wrapped up before the new season opens. We did it in the Everton way - quietly, efficiently and away from the glare of the spotlight. Negotiations have been ongoing for several weeks and have now been satisfactorily concluded and I know the two lads are as happy as we are." Moyesy on Arteta says: "We are delighted with how he has done. He has played really, really well. We like his skills and ability but he has grown into the team ethic that we have here and I think that has been the reason he has done so well." (29/07/06) |

After months of secrecy and exclusivity agreements, Everton in partnership with Tesco and Knowsley Council have released plans of the proposed new Stadium in Kirkby. Consultation Company IPB, had the job of launching the images to local residents, and rumour has it that it went down like the proverbial lead balloon. For the next few weeks a bus will be touring round the Kirkby area, so the residents will have a chance to see what will be going on in their locality if the proposed development gets the green light. Early reports that a boat would be touring the area instead of a Bus after the recent downpours have been rubbished, and once again bluekipper have been told to grow up and get on with it. No never, its fun doing it this way !! (25/06/07) |

Everton's first visitors to Goodison this season will be German outfit Werder Bremen. The Bundesliga side will offer the Blues a stern test after finishing third in their National League last term, and with the like of Torsten Frings and Tim Borowski in their line up, the Blues will have their work cut out. Bremen turned Chelski over last season in the Champions League, and reached the Semi's of the UEFA Cup before going out to runners up Espanyol. As reported on other sites, Bremen's players will not be wearing Leiderhosens, and be hitting each other with long bizzare shaped sausages as part of their pre match rituals. National stereotypes, I love them. Oh by the way the match will be on Tuesday 31st July with a 8pm kick off. (21/06/07) |

Exclusivity Agreement Still Intact Everton Football Club have been in touch with Blue Kipper to say that the rumour that the exclusivity agreement has ended is just that - a rumour and the agreement is still in force. Liverpool City Council Leader and Everton Season Ticket Holder Warren Bradley, is keen to open negotiations with the Blues again, and it is rumoured that more sites for development will be made available for Everton, as the fight to keep the Blues in Liverpool continues. Warren
Bradley says: "We are keen to see Everton stay in the city
and we have discussed two potential sites with the club that we believe
could meet their needs." (20/06/07) |

Keep Everton in Our City (KEIOC) have slammed MP Peter Kilfoyle for only speaking out now in relation to Everton's proposed move away from Goodison. KEIOC have urged the Walton MP to engage in talks with themselves, and in doing so help them to come to a conclusion that will keep the Blues in Liverpool. KEIOC Dave Kelly says: "We know Mr Kilfoyle was involved in discussions about Everton’s future as far back as January 2006, so I find it astonishing he’s now taken this attitude in June 2007. If he’s serious about keeping Everton in the city, we would like him to contact our group, the only organisation campaigning to do that." (15/06/07) |

The Blues open up their 2007 / 2008 Premiership campaign with a home game against Wigan on Saturday August 11th. Our first away match is against Spurs, which ironically was our first trip and win on the road last season. We play the shite at Goodison on October 20th, remember the date, as it will be 23 years to the day when Graeme Sharp blasted the Blues to victory at Analfield. The Analfield trip will be is on March 29th 2008. Manure and Chelski will visit the Blues on September 15th 2007, and April 19th respectively. Always remember when Sky and Setanta get their mucky hands on these fixtures all this could change. (14/06/07) |

Merseyside MP, and Evertonian Peter Kilfoyle, has had a pop at Liverpool City Council for not offering Everton any decent sites for any proposed relocation of Everton Football Club. Whilst a Public Consultation continues with Knowsley Council, The Blues and Tesco, MP Kilfoyle believes our own Council are dragging their feet, and the options open to Everton within the City Boundaries are unrealistic. In a House of Commons Motion today, Kilfoyle praises Knowsley Council for its positive approach and backing to any potential new development, but is still asking Liverpool Council to provide meaningful support to Everton Football Club with realistic redevelopment options within the Liverpool boundaries. Peter Kilfoyle's represents Walton, which as we know covers Goodison Park. Liverpool
Council Spokesman says: "We are keen to see Everton stay
in the city and we have discussed two potential sites with the club
that we believe could meet their needs. Everton have an exclusivity
agreement with Knowsley which means that they are concentrating on exploring
that option at the moment, but we are in regular contact with the club."

The Blues have announced that their last pre season friendly will be against Crystal Palace on Saturday August 4th. It will give a chance for AJ to go back to his old stomping ground were he made his name. Palace who were relegated back in 2006, will finish off the Blues pre season program, and it will give the fans to take in the sights in Lahndan if they so require. Try Soho, I think the place called Foaming Fatties, its a whizz, all you can do anything for a tenner, narf, narf. (05/06/07)
