Everton in the Community (EITC) are urging all Everton fans to sign up and take part in the Big Heart 5k to raise funds for the Blues' Charity.
The Big Heart 5k - takes place on Sunday 7th August at Walton Hall Park, race starts at 11am. This is a family fun run so all ages are welcome to take part.
The race was established in 2008 and was set up in memory of Everton and England legend Alan Ball, it aims to harness the fundraising potential of Merseyside's two sets of passionate football fans to raise money for Everton in the Community and Jamie Carragher's 23 Foundation.
Participants must choose between a red or blue t-shirt so make sure there is a sizeable blue contingent and sign up now.
As you would expect there is always keen rivalry when Everton and Liverpool come together and the Big Heart 5K is no exception. The pressure is on the blue half of the city this year to pull the score back to 2 - 2 so COYB!!
