Blue Bill Puts His Money Where his Mouth is!

Last month Blue Kipper asked Blue Bill to back Moyesy with hard cash, so he could buy the players he wanted. He has done that with the signings of Joey Yobo, & Juli Rodrigo. Both deals are just for a year, but this left enough cash in the pot for Everton to buy the major target, a Goalie. While we were getting on Bill's case to give Moyesy the cash to up the bid for Poom, Bill was persuading his old pal David Dean to part with 'the next England goalkeeper.' To pursued Richard Wright to come to Everton was top drawer. Both Moyesy & Bill deserve credit for this. Wrighty may become the next England goalie. He may not. The thing is he's better than both the goalies we have now. The signing just before the start of the season is the boost the supporters need. The feel good feeling is back.

Today we hear that the Everton Board were not happy with Bill. They were annoyed that he had sanctioned too much Cadburys to let Moyesy get his men. You see this amount if added to the compo Everton paid The Krankies for what was left on their contracts, & Preston for Moyesy's services, it gets dangerously close to the place we where at last season. So Blue Bill has put his hands in his pockets, & shelled out £1m of his own cash. Not only that, but has said if there's a way, there maybe more new faces at Goodison before the season starts.
