Jugement Day

The very likeable Steven Gerrard goes before an FA Disciplinary Tribuneral today at the Reebok Stadium, Bolton to decide on the punishment for his vicious tackle on Gary Naysmith in the Merseyside derby at Analfield back in December. Not surprisingly, Gerrard was not sent off or even booked for his two footed over the top lunge, the ref was the one and only Graham Poll - who didn't see the incident!
Gary's scream could be heard throught the ground and on SKY tv and the incident was widely publicised, let's hope the FA use the full power and give a three match ban - this would let him off lightly, he deserves a minimum six match ban plus castration! (03/02/03)

LATEST - Justice was partly done today at the Reebok when Gerrard was given an immediate 3 match ban, the equivalent of a straight red card, for his tackle on Gary Naysmith. We did not hear wether or not Poll was to get a bollocking for his continued incompetence! (03/02/03)
