No Charges to answer Mick Fitzsimmons was cleared of affray today at Wolverhampton Courts. The judge after hearing evidence from the police brought the case to an abrupt end. Mick has just phoned and said: "Please pass on all my thanks to all the Evertonians who helped with the case, especially Ian Macdonald, Franny Bird, Paul Croft, John Burke, Ted Ledwich and the lads from bluekipper.com It's been a hard 6 months for Christine and my family, but I can now look forward to going back to the match." Mick will meet with his legal team to see what steps to take next. He suffered a depressed fracture of his cheek bone and still has no feeling in on the right side of his face, nose and top lip. Saturday 1st May 2004, after the Wolves v Everton match at the away coach
park in Wolverhampton, an Evertonian, was hit in the face by a police
officer with a Baton. The attack was totally unprovoked. Back
