We are sad to announce the death of Lesley Ball, wife of the Everton legend, Alan Ball. Lesley, described by Alan as "Such a wonderful gift", has died from Ovarian cancer. The couple had been married for 37 years. Alan said: "Lesley had fought really hard over the last 3 years". We would like to send condolences to Alan and his family. (16/05/04)
