Academy People - First Class 2000/2001 A lot of Bollocks has been written about how much money, Everton need to put into the Youth Academy TO MAKE IT A SUCCESS. Yes a few new pitches, new changing rooms, new everything would be nice. But some of the critics miss out on the most important thing. That is the people who run the Academy & the reserves. We obviously have some of the best around. Just look at the honours listed below from last season. Also click here to see full report of more trophies in the cupboard. (10/08/01) Ray Hall, the director of the Academy, deserves a great big pat on the back for being in charge of a dedicated, skillful group of coaches & backroom staff. These include:
Colin Harvey (ASSISTANT DIRECTOR (17 yrs-21yrs) Andy
Holden (UNDER21/RESERVE COACH), who has now been moved up to first team
coach. Successes of the past season Three more players made 1st team debuts making 14 in the past 4 seasons: Tony Hibbert, midfielder from Huyton. Peter Clarke, defender from Southport. Kevin McLeod, midfielder from Garston.
