IT'S GREAT TO BE AN EVERTONIAN

The evening of Wednesday 14th May, 2003, Bluecoat Arts Centre, Liverpool city centre:
A celebration of 100 years of top flight football told by and for the fans.

Set in a pub, a 90-minute collection of stories, memories, videos from Evertonians, interspersed with laughs, songs and even a quiz.

The performance has been conceived by the Yellow House Cultural Centre, formed by George McKane who started going to away games when Evertonians travelled in removal vans and in bread vans - such stories will be told on the night.

The performance will be by Evertonians, for Evertonians.

A 20-minute taster of It's Great To Be An Evertonian was performed before the start of the annual dinner of the Everton Shareholders Association in February. At least one diehard Blue was left in tears.

The evening at the Bluecoat will be raw but tender, loud but reverential. It's for those who believe Evertonianism is an art form.

For tickets, contact the Bluecoat Arts Centre. Phone 0151 707 9393. Adults £5; concessions (students and OAPs) £3, under-16s, £3. For further information, email George at theyellowhouse@btinternet.com
