Everton FC E-mails 101 E Mail bluekipper.com Back
to Your Whatever you think e-mail your views to bluekipper.com and we will put your views here. Rooney Rooney
was wonderful for England. He's not wonderful for Everton,so we sell and
make enough to buy a few players who might guarantee our future in the
Premiership. Savage Bid What an absolute embarrassment- we must be the laughing stock of the Premiership! A one million offer and then payments over the next 4 years! We do ourselves no favours once again and quite frankly, like Birmingham, i am bored of Everton's interest in robbie Savage. He would be a great signing but why did we have to go public and make ourselves look like a joke! Be professional and announce a deal when its signed and sealed and the player is holding the shirt! Andystripeefc. (14/07/04) Ground Share Spot on piece about Stubbsy, Mickey. Fuck the ground share, I would rather watch us in Crocky Park. Jamie. (14/07/04) Stubbs's Whinging Couldn't agree more with every word said against the crap Stubbs came out with. I can't believe any of the thick, lazy bastards masquerading as footballers in Everton shirts last season can defend themselves in any way. I was sick to my stomach. Maybe its time for an angry fans delegation to slap them around and smash up their Ferraris at Bellfield in an Italian supporters stylee. Paul Burns. (14/07/04) Great News - Big Dunc stays Thank god big Dunc is stayin'. I nearly had a pulmonary yesterday at the thought of him going!!!!!!!!!!! Good on yer dunc don't want you to ever leave. Is it true Rooney will be wearing number 9 shirt next year?? Apparently it is in the shop????? Lisa Irving. (14/07/04) Stubbsy's Own Goal What
an excellent article written with
insight and a much-needed acerbic turn of phrase! As a Blue now exiled
in London I am constantly surprised at the number of What this tells me is that contrary to the 'belief' perpetuated in the media, Everton are still of some significance outside of our own backyard. I believe we do look to our 'big clubs' to lead the way in all areas that football touches, and when one of the traditionally big clubs loses its way, it gives cause for concern and indeed conversation. People therefore, outside of the area and outside of our large circle of supporters, have been following the latest articles with some interest. Their opinions in the light of these reflect the opinions of all of us wounded Evertonians when we say 'This is your job, if you cannot do it for the love of the club, do it for professional pride. Earn your money.' Therefore, with the somewhat recalcitrant attitude of the group of players opposed to Moyes still high on the agenda, the whole issue needs sorting out once and for all. This does not just affect the club and its supporters and it extends far beyond the circulation of the Daily Post and Echo. The irony is, that although said players feel that they are worthy of a better (different? more compliant? easier going?) manager, there appears to be no interest in these 'stars' from other Premiership clubs. This should tell them something, but alas once the gates are shut on their country piles in Caldy etc. all they see are the trappings of their success and all that these trappings tell them is that ultimately, they don't need anybody and they answer to no one. How wrong they are. Again, keep up the good work. Kind regards. James Power. (14/07/04) Joe 90 Brilliant piece - Magnificent- Blue Kipper, you should give this man a job. If only Liverpool fans and Mr Rooney himself could read this masterstroke which shows the truth and honesty that the Sun newspaper, Stretford and Co. could not possibly be capable of producing - The manipulating greedy selfish bastards. Lets hope Wayne see's sense and understands that the Sun - United - Stretford are all linked with one aim to unsettle, manipulate and make money from him. Its time for us Blues to stand strong and fight back, Wayne can give us a massive lift by signing a new deal - It will speak volumes and send a message to the world. Get rid of the dead wood (the pensioners) looking for an easy ride (Duncan+ Pistone) Super Kev may not be as super anymore, yet I'm sure he is noble enough to know it, and think about moving on. Same can not be said for injury boy, who gets sent off when we need him most (wont say to his face though) It is a transitional period. United had that in the mid eighties, then that fantastic young side appeared with Becks, Scholes, Neville's, Butt and Giggs. David Moyes is trying to do the same thing with Wright, Hibbert, Yobo, Osman, McFadden,Vidarsson and Rooney. There is hope - The 40,000 need to keep coming through the turnstiles. Just read we have tabled a bid for Savage- Great news, his grit work rate and heart is exactly what our midfield lacks and he will compliment Gravesen well. John Reece. (14/07/04) Mickey Blue Eyes - Stubbsy's Own Goal Just had to write to say thank you to Mickey Blue Eyes over his honest and excellent article - "Stubbsy's Own Goal". I too was astonished with Mr Stubbs' pathetic attempt to disguise his lazy Sunday League style performances last season. I personally have never really rated him as a centre half - come on, centre halves are supposed to be able to head the ball aren't they? However, as Mr Moyes tried to do last season, a bit of honesty is needed in these dark times - yes dark, because trouble makers like Stubbs & Ferguson (who I previously idolised like so many before) made it their mission to undermine everything Moyes achieved in that 7th placed season. I am absolutely gutted at what happened to us last time out and the only excuse, as Mickey rightly pointed out, is that the players - with the exception of Moyes' signings & Rooney, did everything they could to scupper the progress of the previous season. The honesty here, is that Stubbs & co didn't just not bother trying - they set out to destroy us - and very nearly succeeded. Now we are faced with loosing our brightest prospect for years; we can't tempt any new players to EFC; we can't complete a decent commercial deal - all because Stubbs and co. didn't like Moyes' style or methods?? I understand that Moyes said in the dressing room, after then Preston pre-season shambles, that if he could sell the lot of them - he would. How so many of us hope his wish comes true.......... Keep up the great work and site lads - at least someone is a credit to our great club. Keep the faith!!!!! Phil Fitz - Huyton. (14/07/04) spot on let them all rot in division 2. terry tshirt. (14/07/04) Little Canadian shits and old arseholes Just
thought I'd stick in my two pence worth, actually its more like a fiver.
Totally agree with the article about what Stubbs said. As if all us Evertonians
would go "Oh right, those shite performances had nothing to do with
us attaining our lowest points average for, what was it? 100 years".
The club at the moment is under attack from anyone who wants a pop, when
did the little canadian/french fuck EVER get 2 pages in most national
newspapers, although that's beginning to sound a little like
Now I'm not saying we're gonna turn out the next Raul or something but
just think how good the boy would be if he'd have been playing in the
premiership, gaining
I'll stop now of I'll be going on all night and put it this way, Leeds
have had to sign Danny Cadamarteri so spare a thought for our sheep neighbours
or just laugh to cheer yourself up - which is what I do but its one of
those uneasy laughs, like you get before an exam or something because
you know that it could, and on the basis of last Alan Stubbs Just wanted to emphasis my complete support for what you say, Stubbs cannot be serious in trying to deflect the criticism he and the defence have coming from last year. There were many occasions last season when the 'Duke' or another forward had done the business - Leicester/Leeds/Boro/Wolves etc., only for it to be casually thrown away - often with just minutes to go - how unprofessional was that? It would only have taken takes a few of those draws/defeats to become wins - for us to have finished in the top half. My greatest hope for the new season, is to see the defence resolved - maybe with another Kevin Ratcliffe walking in thru the door - someone with leadership, commitment and speed! Looking at our Centre backs the last few years has been depressing - they look like a pair of Donkeys (not inc. Yobo of course - although positionally he's still a bit naive). Taking this further, I feel that our forward line last year was fine and that it was just service that was the problem, sounds a bit simplistic, but I think that even 'without' Rooney, but with Jeffers/Rad/Dunc/KC - they could have propered with some half decent support from midfield. I feel sorry for Gravesen carrying the team this last 3/4 years in this regard and for the school of science it's dreadful. However, for next season I reckon a midfield with Gravesen, Watson, Kilbane and a new top man - maybe Koumas could be pretty ok - not great, but ok. So we need to recruit a class midfielder to get some more creativity going for the forwards, but the situation in defence is desperate - do you recall that goal against Spurs when the ball actually bounced over Stubbs head 2 yrs ago now, but I still cant forget it!) Controversially, I would really like to see Richard Wright back - I'm slightly embarrassed to say this because Martin is excellent, but I think Wright is better positionally and a better close range shot stopper - comments!? After all what other difference was there between the last 2 seasons (baring your comment about Moyes telling the Donkeys they would be out to pasture at the end of the season!) Anyway, as ever I'm still I'm looking forward to it, because lets not forget - if you take away all the rich under performing players we have - you still have us - 40,000 'odd' fans that turn up every week - not many can top that!!! PS Comes to something when the close season attracts more commentary than during the season itself!! Things must be bad! Cheers Martin. (13/07/04) Alan Stubbs M.B.E.
makes a fair point considering the amount of shite I had to watch last
season, as did many other Evertonians. I would put abject levels of fitness
and the presence of a certain Scottish parasite amidst our forward line
(who must have a big influence amongst his team-mates as a fair few number
of them seemed to take his attitude of the previous two seasons), as bigger
factors of our bad form. This to me is a far more feasible excuse, rather
than a ' they scored more, we scored less' Players Commitment. I
don't know about them not trying but the amount of games we lost to goals
scored in the last ten minutes point to them being: a. Knackered b. Not
concentrating or c. throwing it away. The first two whilst not on for
a pro footballer-or any footballer for that matter-are forgivable as long
as the effort is there. The last one is immoral, fraud, disgusting and
enough to ensure any guilty player is kept at the club, not playing-not
even in the reserves or youth teams, why pollute them. When the message
is spread, and with sites like these it will, they then get sold off or
loaned down the leagues. Stubbsy Spot on! Stop moaning and shut up. Do it on the pitch or get off! Paul Freeman. (13/07/04) Stubbsy Spot
on, Mickey. I spent all of last season in a dodgy seat behind a pillar
in the Upper Bullens and, frankly, the obstructed view came as something
of godsend when we were defending the Park End as I had to cringe at some
of our schoolboy errors at the back.It seems to me that we have true class
and consistency in Nige Martyn, Joey and, of course, the Duke, but as
for the rest of you, I think you need a reality check. That includes Tommy
Grav who would look equally at home playing in the Huyton and District
or for Real Madrid depending on whether he could be arsed or not. There
is hope- Killer has the appetite and we've yet to see Faddy explode onto
the scene- let's also give Marcus Bent all the support we can as he is
wholehearted and will flourish if the fans are willing him on. Stubbsy Well said and well done, Mickey. These overpaid prima donnas including the Rad the little rat, should look into their hearts(?)and asks themselves if they gave any value, to the poor sods that paid hard earned cash to watch some of tossers who wore the shirt of our beloved club. Declan Burke. (13/07/04) Rooney After reading Moyes`s comments on the Rooney speculation I feel that it`s now time for Rooney to come out and decide what he`s going to do. Weather that`s to carry on playing for the club he supposedly loves or go on like Jeffers and Ball who were both playing for England at the time they left. I first believed that Rooney was something different, but day by day I`m starting to think that he`s attracted to pound signs rather than living a dream with Everton F.C. Don`t forget that no player is bigger than the club. My personal opinion is that if he doesn`t want to play then cash in, and I would much rather keep Moyes to help bring back the glory years. Sites great keep the laughs coming. DANNY WHELAN. CREWE. (13/07/04) Stubbsy's own goal I have been a blues supporter since the late 40's. I have lived in London since the mid 70's so don't get to see that many games. Since 1990 , when I had a sever stroke, the number of games has been further reduced. So it greatly shocks me that we have players that don't give 100% when donning the royal blue shirt of Everton. I follow everything I can on the team: newspapers, webb sites, radio and tv programs and of cause friend and family contacts. All these methods enable me to keep up with what is going on -up to a point. There is no beating going down to the match live! I have to say my however that I do get the feeling that things have gone wrong these past 18 months. Perhaps Moyesy will get it sorted when he gets rid of the dead wood we seemed to have accumulated during the last administration. Here's hoping for a better season to come! MIKE. (13/07/04) Spot On Mickey Blue Eyes is bang on with his article responding to Alan Stubbs incredible claims on last season's debacle. Stubbs surprises me since he is supposed to be an honest Evertonian through and through. When you also hear the likes of Sadrinski whingeing about the lack of quality on the field and wanting to play for a team with ambition and to play in Europe; does he not realise that his lack of quality is a contributing factor to the state of the club? Please tell me which team with European qualification would actually think him good enough to add to their squad? How many goals does he score when one-on-one with a keeper? Those kind of chances are what goal scorers dream of and generally take advantage of and I can't recall him scoring one - most frustrating when we have usually lost those games by the odd goal. The players are totally to blame for the current situation. It seems that eligible players in the transfer market would rather go to the likes of Bolton, Birmingham, Blackburn, Middlesboro, Portsmouth, Fulham and even West Brom and Crystal Palace (!!!!) than to Goodison. Even if Wayne stays, he can't do any better than last year with the bunch of tossers around him (one or two exceptions). BDM. (13/07/04) Stubbs Just read M.B.Es comments about Stubbs and the Echo article, and wanted to say I wholeheartedly agree. I’m a season ticket holder in the Paddock and it took me a fair bit of convincing to renew it, due largely to the lack of effort made by the more senior players at the club. The Echo article, although written by a Kopite, was surprisingly spot on. The club is in massive, massive trouble: like Leeds. I strongly fear we’ll go down this season, after losing our best players and our major asset: Moyes. But even if we need all the defensive cover we can get, I’d be delighted to see Stubbs and Pistone go now. However it was reassuring to see someone ‘echo’ the thoughts of myself and I’m sure thousands of other blues. Keep up the great work. Cheers, Matt. (13/07/04) Mickey Blue Eyes comment piece on Stubbsy Absolutely fucking too right! What gets my goat at the moment more than anything else, more so than the Rooney debacle, is how some of the senior players can get away with using Everton FC as a fucking retirement fund! I think we all know who are the main offenders, and they are also the players who have spread disharmony in the squad, which has affected people like Rad and Gravesen. I think it is absolutely shocking that they can get away with us, surely there is some form of legal challenge to their contracts on the basis that they are affecting the performance of the club (company) in a detrimental way? from Jason Lloyd. (13/07/04) Stubby's Comments Need anyone say any more cos that says it all to me! Liam Rooney. (13/07/04) MBE I don't know if the players ever go to your site, but I hope to hell that they read your article. I've seen some pretty terrible Everton sides over the past 10-15 years, but some of last season's performances rate significantly worse than anything I've ever seen. If it was just that the players are awful, at least we could say they tried, but there's no chance of that from this season. Unacceptable doesn't even come close. 5-1 loss to Man. City? Well, Alan, if that's the team playing its best you might want to think about a career change, 'cause football's not for you. Rory O'Keeffe. (13/07/04) Stubbs, by MBE This
is the first time that I have agreed with just about every word that MBE
has written. What's wrong with professional footballers? They think that
they are gods. They all Hate us Whilst sitting down in front of my telly on a wet sunday morning i was flicking through the sky channels and came across 'The premiership Years' They were reviewing when we managed to stay up by the skin of our teeth with a draw against Coventry. They
kept flicking to the other relegation contenders Bolton at Chelsea and
i can honestly say i could not believe how Close we were to going down
that day it brought it all back The chelsea fans Booing there own players
and cheering Bolton to score it reminded me that we should never kid ourselves
that because of success in top flight Football nothing would give these
people greater pleasure than to see us go down Perhaps we should play
these sort of games to the players and not keep drilling on about how
great Everton is
'My mate plays Golf with the second cousin twice removed to the Russian twat form West London' Just stop it and replace it with positive vibes about our club. Have we forgotten that there are another 2 Rooney's in the academy together with a young group of players that are all representing their countries this is the sort of positive reaction to these people who stop me in the street that pisses them off because they want us gone So
i would like to think that David Moyes is telling the Players Fit in or
Get out This is Everton and as of NOW we will stop talking to the press
Wayne! What Else? What about this for a scenario; Someone with integrity, intelligence and who Wayne trusts (i.e. David Moyes,Big Dunc or Stubbsy) has a quiet word in his ear, and explains that in real terms footballers contracts really don't mean anything at all. And are only in place to benefit the player rather than the club, and that Wayne who really loves the club could do Everton a massive favour by signing for the following reasons, 1). Everybody is aware of Manchester united's preferred method of operation, which is, to first unsettle the player through the tabloid press, which is controlled by one of their shareholders, then get the players agent on board with the proverbial brown envelope, and then get the player at less than real value because the club feel they have to cash in or be bitten by the Bosman scenario. The player, in this case our Wayne, the agent (pond life Stretford) and the club (Man ure) are all win ners, the losers, Everton. The only thing in our favour is that Wayne has royle blue blood running through his veins, this should be used to our advantage. If Wayne signs the contract on the table, He wins by gaining financial security for life, unfortunately so does pond life by gaining his %, but man ure or anybody else would have to pay full market value as and when Wayne is subject to offers, So that if he were to leave, Everton would really benefit and Wayne would at least of helped us before going. The current figures being touted are between £25 and £35 million, you can guarantee that the shareholders at manure will want the best deal possible, I anticipate an offer from manure of probably £20 million with manure hoping to grab a bargain at the January sales. If the contract is signed that would have to be doubled at least, Since Wayne hasn't requested a transfer he is in a win win situation. Ask him and the pond life agent if they prefer 10% of £25million or 10% of £40 million it's not rocket science is it?. It should be put to him that he has the choice of either benefiting Everton or manure. We all know that every player has his price no matter the length of his contract (Scott Parker, Rio Ferdinand etc etc). Let's use his love of Everton to our advantage. I know that sounds callous but the future of our club is at stake. Please forward to Mickey Blue eyes for editing and punctuation. Ian. (13/07/04) Rooney and The Sun Alright Bluekipper, At last you finally got something about Rooney and The Scum newspaper. I enjoyed the article by Mickey Blue eyes and think he was spot on with the comparison between Rooney's agent and that CUNT Rupert Murdoch. Its been a week now since Rooney's story appeared in that rag and at least a week since he was paid by The Sun newspaper, how long does he need to realise that the only honourable and decent thing to do is give that dirty money away, to charity, better still the Hillsborough families campaign for justice. If he doesn't feel he can get involved with them then give it to Alder Hey, or any other of the worthwhile causes he supports, he can give it to a fuckin' dogs home, anywhere, just get rid of that dirty, lying, money. Great site, keep up the good work, Beans (Orrell Park.) (13/07/04) The State we're in!!!!!!!!! I for one think that Moyes has made some excellent signings and we have some great young players. The likes of Yobo, Hibbert, Rooney, McFadden and the Grav when he can be bothered are the basis of a good young squad. It's the bunch of under worked over paid dross we have in the rest of the team that spoils it thankfully some of them are beginning to leave (Killa, Martyn and Stubbs being the exceptions apart from the above). I find it hard to criticise Kevin Campbell after his goals kept us up when he was signed but I'm afraid it's time for him to leave. As for that Duncan ferguson I've never seen such a big bloke get so many injuries I am shocked we have carried him for so long especially on his wages. The RAD - he can fuck right off back to fucking Canada. ROONEY AND MCFADDEN UP FRONT, IF WE HAD THE MIDFIELD TO PROVIDE THE SERVICE, THEY WOULD BE FANTASTIC AND THIS IS WHERE THE PROBLEM HAS BEEN FOR MANY SEASONS NOW, I would like to see us buy 2 decent YOUNG midfielders who could come in to protect the defence and provide some service. I don't think the defence is too bad they just have to do so much work making up for our exceptionally poor midfield who provide no protection. MATHIEU FLAMINI LOOKS LIKE an excellent prospect having seen him play in UEFA CUP. If we could afford £7m for that waste of space Alan Smith then we should be prepared to push the boat out to get Flamini to add to the other young players in the squad. Hargreaves if he would come - Joe cole on loan ( I doubt it). I log onto the site everyday hoping to hear that we've signed him (Flamini)- or any one else for that matter otherwise its going to be another depressing Premiership campaign for us Toffee's. EXCELLENT SITE LADS. Martin Irons Roberts. (13/07/04) New Kits I think that the new EFC kits are BRILL but we have left it to late to sell them. If we had sold them earlier we could have made some money to buy at least 1 decent enough player. And cum on the BLUES for the new season and ROONEY PLZ PLZ STAY. Antony (A TRUE BLUE) Birkenhead. (13/07/04) Speak Up Wayne My
feeling is that wayne does need to speak up. We have a world class player
in Wayne whose decision may help revive the good times at Goodison. To
stay is to put his faith in the club to attract other class players around
him. To re-establish this club as one of the best in the world. To go
is to leave Evertonians wondering if we will ever amount to anything.
Wayne, your are a blue, you know the hurt we have lived with over your
life time. How we have watched as the Mancs and the Arse have bought their
way to the top. Remember Jeffers? Thought to be a rising star who sold
his soul to sit on the Arse bench. You are better than that. Shared Grounds Watching
the 'The Golden Vision' on BBC the other night, our previous chairman
said how far Goodison Park was ahead of other grounds, and that we, the
supporters paid for the club being solvent. How things have changed. The
ground is slowly becoming one of the worst in the Premiership and I don't
need to tell you how we stand regarding finances! As a supporter of long
standing, I feel the only way to improve spectator amenities is to groundshare,
we will not be the first and certainly not the last. Letter To Mr. Eyes Dear
Mr Eyes In all the furore surrounding Wayne Rooney’s links with the Sun newspaper one name seems never to appear; Mr K. Dalglish. Today’s Observer newspaper carries a full page article seeking to explain the relationship between the Sun and the people of Liverpool (and I do mean the people of Liverpool, as opposed to just those who support Liverpool FC). The report wonders why Wayne was so poorly advised by his agents, Proactive, and Paul Stretford in particular, who seem not to have anticipated either the scale of the backlash or the attempts by the Sun to use Rooney’s involvement to issue yet another empty apology. Now if I recall correctly the manager of Liverpool FC at the time of Hillsborough was one K. Dalglish, a “sensitive” man, we are to understand, who quit Liverpool some couple of years later citing emotional stress over Hillsborough. And what does this sensitive man do today? Well as I understand it, he is a consultant to Proactive. What was his advice to Stretford about involving an 18 year old with the Sun? Dalglish, it seems to me, bears a great deal of responsibility in this matter and perhaps more than a few of the supporters who revere his name might now begin to bring him to account rather than vilify a young man who knows little of the wiles of football agents and their “consultants”. Articles like the one I read today are divisive and will stir up anti-Rooney sentiment on one half of Merseyside. I think though that before that happens we should all remember how Evertonians stood side by side with and shared the grief of all those affected by the Hillsborough tragedy. And for 15 years we, too, have boycotted the newspaper that classed us all as barbaric scum. For those too young to remember, the solidarity of Everton supporters was truly remarkable and noble given the events of Heysel just 3 years before, events which indirectly caused the break up of a great Everton team and its possible domination of Europe. We have long since forgiven the actions of some Liverpool fans which contributed to the terrible tragedy of Heysel and we moved on knowing that the vast majority of their fans are our workmates, our brothers and our friends. It is time for Liverpool fans to reflect on this and not to turn their wrath on Rooney, As for Wayne himself, he now has a choice. Whether to allow himself to be manoeuvred by the likes of Stretford and Dalglish into a move to Manchester United, or to stay and help rebuild Everton. What will make him happier? There is no contest. What will make him richer? Again there is no contest because what Wayne’s choice is about is the realisation that being rich is not just about money. He will have more than enough whatever he does. What will make him rich beyond his dreams is staying amongst people who love him and understand him and doing brilliant things for the club that he loves. Even Liverpool supporters would applaud Wayne’s choice to stay at Everton because they would not want to see him at Old Trafford. That is why we the people of Liverpool must stick together on certain things and not be manipulated by newspapers and football agents and their consultant friends. Joe 90. (13/07/04) I Feel Fine The Rooney hysteria is getting more like the Beatles from the sixties. Every one wants a piece of the action. Will the next thing be Rooney dolls kicking overhead goals, diving headers. Bring it on, money to be made. Can I be your agent please. Never mind playing for the childhood dream of every kid in the area Everton. Fucking agents - more like piranhas. You're not to blame Wayne. It's the times we live in. JohnLea. (13/07/04) Groundshare Just
read the wise words of Mickey
Blue Eyes. You are so right - there is no question that our great
club will follow the dodo if sharing is not only accepted as the lifeline
that it is - but also embraced as the opportunity to provide a stage that
befits a club that needs to play football against the best there is. Trying
to cling to Goodison will condemn us. To those deluded and naive blues
who cling to this distorted idea that there is a future at our cherished
ground wake up! The game and the business has moved on, money and the
market place rules - failure to react by not making a move to share is
effectively suicide. Gobshites Fellow
kippers, I don't usually write these type of things but enough is enough.
I'm based in Sydney for a year until January and was lucky in a way that
I didn't have to witness the woeful performances after Xmas. I've got
major doubts if we'll be playing Premiership footy when I get back in
June ' 05 with the way things are going. 7 big ones for Alan Smith, do
me a favour Bill and get out now whilst you've a bit of credibility intact
& go join Tony Blair, he's good at talking the talk but not walking
the walk. Every time I go to read the news about Everton it always seems
to be negative. I can see Wayne staying for another 12 months at least, but then what? It looks grim to say the least, clubs are snapping up players as I type (Davis to Spurs is a wonder) and what are we doing - trying to get rid of the Big Man & not so Super anymore - two players who should have gone last year!! There seems no signs of anyone coming in and that's scares me, the squad is on the bones of it's arse number wise and a ball has yet to be kicked!! You've got to feel for Moyesy in all of this, the board have told him a pack of lies from the off. I'm just glad in a way I'm out here as all this happens, it would be too much to take at home surrounded by RS fans taking the piss. PS - Speaking of gobshites, wasn't it nice to see Nick 'Judas' Barmby sign for Hull this week? How the mighty have fallen, 30 years old and playing in Div 2!! He didn't get the career ending injury I so wanted him to get when he left but seeing his demise is just as good! Jamie (13/7/04). Arite lads! I love your site keep it up! I'm a bit disappointed at your criticism for Tomasz Radzinski you weren't saying bad stuff about him when he was scoring goals for fun and when he always gave 110% and ran his socks off for the blues. Who can blame him for wanting to leave a club which is in huge debt and has mediocre players and can't afford to buy any better players. He is 30 now and he needs to end his career in the best possible way and if that means moving so be it. Soz for having a go lads but i just think its harsh calling him a little shite after all the hard work and important goals he has gave to our team and how he tried so hard to come back after a disappointing start to his everton career. Alanmill. (13/07/04) Everton in The 50's - Appeal As
Secretary of the Liverpool County Combination I am compiling our League
History for our Centenary in 2008/9 season. Groundshare I know if football in the city is so bad why don't we just join the two sides and have one boss team to play on our new boss stadium. Arnie Martin. (13/07/04) A plea to all True Blues I
am really worried about next season. Looks like our 2 best strikers are
on there way and I get the impression that there mood in that camp is
not very good. This is a plea to all the fans who go week in week out.
Next season is going to be a real struggle. I'm sure we all have out thoughts
on how the club is run, the lack of money, the We can make the difference. A packed Goodison in good voice is an intimidating place for opposition players and fans alike. If we struggle like we did last season it could come down to a couple of points in May whether we start 2005/2006 in the Premiership or the 1st division. We can be the 12th man and get the team those extra points. Then at the end of the season if we don't make it we can all hold our heads high, safe in the knowledge that we backed then all the way. Remember we are Evertonians. We are special. It really is a grand old team to support..... TrueBlue. Hatfield. (13/07/04) Radz on the run! What
is Radzinski's problem? He has a big moan about wanting a 3 year contract
which Moyes then offers him and then he has the cheek to turn it down.
Its disgraceful and Moyes should just forget about him now and have a
look for some one else as I'm sure someone can score more goals than he
can. I mean he does need 10 chances before he can score a goal! Resign Paul Gregg, Resign! I read a recent report from Sky with our "beloved" director Paul Gregg unveiling our new shirt sponsor. He was quoted on Rooney as saying "I think he should leave the club, it is the right thing to do... but in three or four years not now". Well if that is how Mr Gregg truly feels then HE and not Rooney should leave the club RIGHT NOW! I think it is an outrage that Paul Gregg has suggested that it “would be right” for potentially the best player in the world to leave Everton at any time! How can a director of our club believe that we will not be in a significantly better position in four years time? I think that shows his ambition for Everton Football Club. If
I had Rooney's ability I would rather struggle to improve Everton, dragging
them up by the collar for Ten years and hopefully win the Premiership
once in that time, rather than win three at United or Arsenal or Chelski!?
Rooney could single-handedly improve the finances of EFC, with endorsements,
league performance bonus, marketing, etc., and still earn huge money from
his wage and his own sponsorship. Alas, though that will never as long
as Paul Gregg is there! Do the right I hope you will support my view and make all those true Evertonians aware of the utterly useless and inept Director we call Paul Gregg! We want a board that is ambitious and finances our success, but if it can't be at least let it have blue blood!!! David Shaw. (13/07/04) Small Football Surely the way forward next year is to play small football. With Mcfadden and Rooney striking from deep. Campbell and Ferguson just kill us. The game is keep the ball on the ground. We do have two world class strikers on the books. David Moyes has to just play them. Play Osman, Rooney and McFadden in every game. MikeyD. (13/07/04) Rads Go I would now definitely grant Rads his request to leave the club, I think he has his heart set on a move to either Fulham or Blackburn, so as far as I am concerned he can go... He is a good squad player, but I honestly think we can do better than him for the first team, the amount of opportunities it takes him to finish is amazing.. I know it is more negative news for the club, but we can turn this into a positive and put the money received (£1.5m?) towards a good young player !! If we were not to buy any more players this season, and keep hold of everyone (yes, Wayne included) then this would be my starting 11.. Martyn Hibbert Naysmith Yobo Stubbs Gravesen Osman Linderoth Rooney McFadden Kilbane Keep it up Bluekipper !! Rich Flaherty. (13/07/04) We Need Quality Firstly
congrats to wayne what great goals he scored for england and the great
celebration, i also noticed that during a goal kick for Swiss that 2Everton
flags were clearly in show filling the screen. I noticed how well Vassell
and Rooney linked up for that second goal, with him not being in the greatest
of favours with Villa, he would be a great buy, if we were serious in
offering £7m then we should be able to offer something of the same
or about £5m for Vassell he is very fast and also strong and skillful
on the ball and quite handy in the air. What Do You Think? Have your say! e-mail bluekipper.com e-mails index Review of the season 2003/2004 by Mickey Blue Eyes |
