Kick The Dog

The bad news for me is that i named my dog Rooney two years ago. I suppose it's like getting your wife's name tattooed on your arm then divorcing her. I suppose you could cover a tattoo up but ya can't change ya Dogs name. People are gonna think i support Man Utd now how bad is that?Got a signed autograph of him on the living room wall. A massive poster over our bed. A massive England flag with Rooney written on it.All kinds of stickers etc over the car.Two shirts with Rooney on the back of them. And i am 44 who said blokes never grow up. Still find it hard that he is going brought us loads of good moments though Euro 04 mainly.Tony in Sheffield (01/09/04)

Where's The Cash ?

What about the 10 million we got for Jeffers, where did it all go ………..not on players that’s for sure and I have got a feeling the next lot of money will go the same way. Forty five years I have been supporting the best supported club in the land and I have never felt so bad about the future. Micky B (01/09/04)

Soul Destroying

If the report's true and we only get 10 million up front the rest next year etc, I think that's the final nail in the coffin for True Blue Witholdings. To see him go was heart breaking but to see the deal f**ked up like that was soul destroying. They have practically got him on loan for six years, I'm supervised Bill didn't offer to pay his wages for six years too. But don't worry people we'll get the c*nt back in 15 years, only he'll probably weigh about 20 stone and will have gone through more hoe's than Alan Titchmarsh. Tom (01/09/04)

Laughing Stock

Once again Everton are a laughing stock, 10 million up front for someone who is arguably the greatest talent this country has ever seen, come on Kenwright and yes even you Moyes, talk your way out of this one, I have never questioned my loyalty to the club I have supported for 32 years, now why the fuck should I bother spending my hard earned money to come from the Isle of Man every fortnight, you obviously don't care about the club why should I? Manx Blue (01/09/04)

On The Drip

I would like to congratulate the Everton board on a wonderful piece of financial work you managed to sell possibly the best player in Europe to who are considered the richest club in the world, on the drip, we are up to our eyeballs in debt and the gobshite board let him go on the never /never, every week I scrimp and save to watch them play never have they offered me terms like that, will they let me pay for my season ticket, a third down, a third next year, and the rest when we win the league, I don't think so, what if now the bank calls in what we owe, will Man ure help us out, well I for one am sick of worrying about my club who I have followed all over the country, for the last 51 years, well no more we have been sold down the river, what happened to Mr Kenwrongs words we will only sell him if its in the best interest of the club, that comes a good second to "Once a blue always a blue, as I said at first I would like to congratulate them but I cant, not with every Man ure fan laughing at us. Les Mac in Skem (01/09/04)

Dave Clarke Five

Who was the ochestrator of this deal anyway? Dave Clarke five!??? all we are getting is"bits & pieces"
We hold the ace and end up getting trumped by whiskey face fergie!! This deal is not good for Everton football club. We've been sold down the river by "blue" Bill and his obvious incompetent cohorts. Seems like we went cap in hand to the pawnshop and only got "some" of what we wanted.
I am an evertonian living in mancland, and I am sick of the arrogant spouting of the manure fans of " rooney will be a red no doubt about it"..............this was 18 months ago for christ's sake!
How will clubs which are not in the best of positions going to cope when they find their "gem" only to have the vultures of Manchester and london, yes and even the darkside wave their big fat cheques to lure them away, leaving the struggling clubs still (and forever) struggling? Not good for football is it?
OK we all knew it was going to happen, but the deal isn't right...it's all if's and but's. It's the 4 at the top and the rest fighting for scraps ! and boy have we got some scraps! But we are true blues and forever will be no matter what !
Once a blue, always a blue...............ie until a better offer comes around...........................didn't notice the small print on Rooney's vest......did you? blueheart baz (01/09/04)

Big Mistake

Wayne, I think you have made a big mistake leaving Everton so soon. You could have signed the contract, got s*** loads of money, given us another couple of years, and then if it still wasn't working gone to any Club you wished for. You will now never have the chance to:
1) Be the Greatest ever Everton Player
2) Score the winning goal against Liverpool in a Derby Match
3) Pick up a trophy with the team you idolised
4) Gain a record number of England caps as an Everton player.
5) Be an Everton Legend alongside Dean,Hickson,Young, Ball, Sharpy, etc.

Alan Ball won a World Cup Medal with Blackpool, aged 20,and then decided to move to a bigger Club. You could have stayed Wayne, even for just a couple more seasons. You have let thousands of Evertonians down, but more important, YOURSELF........ Dave Rooney (No relation!) Season ticket Holder, Shareholder, Evertonian to the End!!!! (01/09/04)

Utter Shambles

What an utter shambles! Bungalow Bill has made us look even more ridiculous than ever and Wayne (although he doesn't’t realize it because Stretford’s down his ear talking shite) has shit on us from an immense height! The deal for Everton is crap The bank are gonna step in and want a chunk of money and I see the same thing happening as always seems to happen . . . we buy nobody spend nothing and in 12 months time when we’re all screaming ‘what happened to the money Bill’ the answer will come ‘it went off the debt.

What next? My guess for what it’s worth Yobo and Graveson away in the January sales and we’ll buy a couple of Teddy Sheringham type characters from somewhere, when we could have, should have been watching the talents of the best young blue for many a year!!

Bill I hope your fuckin happy now, why don’t you do the honourable thing now and walk away. Christian (01/09/04)

Directors

The Directors of our beloved club have a fidiciary duty to the shareholders ( and a moral one to us the fans). They should be asked to explain how this fuck up of deal with Man U meets that duty. How is it in Everton's best interest to accept a guaranteed £23m on the drip, rather than £23.5m cash from Newcastle.
United must be pissing themselves. Until we have someone at the helm with some fucking business sense we will stagnate, or worse. Blue forever, but never felt worse. G. (crosby). (01/09/04)

Rooney Saga

Fantastic site for blues to air their views. Had to listen to worried mancs (albeit with a Norwegian accent) on the radio last night, berating the club for the atrocious way they have treated Rooney during the transfer saga. They added, 'How dare the Everton supporters react the way they did at Goodison during the game against the baggies and at Old Trafford when they let Rooney know what they feel about him'. These people have got to get real. They're only spouting off because the deal could fall through. What happens to Master Rooney then? The lad wants to go, so he's going. But only under our terms. If the price isn't right he's staying where he is. Well done to King David (Moyesy) for treating Rooney with the contempt he deserves. He's done everything he possibly could to ensure the lad has been nurtured correctly, probably treated him like a son. Then he slaps in a transfer request and expects the club and supporters not to react.

Two further points;
1. Wayne Rooney couldn't have penned the statement released last Friday if he lives to be a hundred.
2. What's the difference between Wayne Rooney and a shopping trolley? Answer. A shopping trolley has got a mind of it's own. Eddie Park End. (01/090/04)

Good Luck Lad! You'll need it

I think we should all calm down now Wayne is going and we should wish him all the best. I think he needs all the luck he can get and i personally feel that he is being mis advised by his so called agent I am certain he will live to regret leaving Everton so soon however lets cash in now and move on i think in the long run and after the last few weeks its for the best. So good luck thanks for the memories and the only problem I've got now is what do i call my 2 year Lab called Rooney. We will be ok this year and as DM says Everton are bigger that all of us. Sean Season ticket holder Upper Gwladys. (01/09/04)

No Legend

I think Rooney wasn't as good as they said he was .Yeah he was good for his age but nothing that special. I've bin a season ticket holder for three years now. I've had plenty of favourite players but one who will always be my favourite Kevin Kilbane. I've never thought of Rooney as becoming a legend or a superstar. I mean he will be remembered like but not a house hold name. Everyone knows know's him for everything but his work on the football pitch. I think he was put under a lot of pressure and it showed. I think it was a good thing that he went because all this stuff that he has done has but a bad name to the club as well as himself. So I say Manchester United Newcastle have him but remember he comes with a lot of hassle. Becky,12 Proud Season Ticket holder. (01/09/04)

Rooney or New Stars

Wayne Rooney is a great player, but did he help us too much last season, he was out top scorer last season but he hardly compared with the total of Henry's goals last season, he is one man, from the sale of who we could buy 3-4 decent new signings who will fill his gap twice and supply added support to other areas of the team.
Also now Rooney is gone (going) Gravesen has started to hit the limelight and taken it in his stride, fans are now singing chants for tommy grav instead of rooney. Rooney's sale is not the worst thing that could happen to EFC, I myself would feel Yobo holds a more important role in the team and would always want him at the club he is a class act without the behind the scenes of prostitutes and a temper on the pitch.

(once a blue always a blue AND NEVER A RED) SIMON. (01/09/04)

Once a Blue always a Blue

I've been a blue for over 50 years, seen them in the second division, I was in the forces when we conceded 10 against Spurs. I now make a 470 mile round trip to see home games, stay overnight in Liverpool, it costs a fortune to watch the blues, but through it all I've never once buckled and wanted to be with any other club.

Wayne Rooney "Once a Blue always a Blue" that's what it means, through the good and the bad.

I've said it before on here, We need the money more than we need Rooney. We will come out of this a better club, a better team.

I don't know why everyone is surprised by Rooney's decision, 99% of the players are all the same, it's greed, pure greed. Good luck Wayne, but we will come out of this stronger than you will. Mike Kendrick. (01/09/04)

Reason

So Wayne has finally given us his reason for handing in a transfer request from his, supposedly, beloved Blues. His reason for wanting to leave is the need to play European football on a regular basis. Apparently regular it is essential for an 18 year old to develop to his full potential.

We live in an age were anything anyone in the public spotlight says is taken, dissected and all possible angles of meaning analysed and reviewed. Well, Rooney’s statement speaks volumes; those few words leave us in no doubt what he thinks of Everton Football club - we are not good enough for this arrogant teenager.

His belief that regular European football can only be achieved by moving to another club, indicates that he does not think there is a cat in hells chance of Everton managing this goal in the near future. That David Moyes will not take the core of this present Everton team and turn them into title contenders, even with Rooney himself in the squad. Most people outside of Everton may have thought the reality of that a pipe dream, but like most Evertonians had that feeling this young man could be the catalyst needed to turn our fortunes. If you have the brightest young footballer in the world in your team it is going to be easier persuading good players to join the club. There was optimism around the club that had not been there for years. But it is not to be.

The irony of all this, is that Rooney cannot truly believe in himself in his own ability, he cannot truly believe he himself is good enough to build a team around and become championship contenders. I am reminded of a rising Argentinean footballer of nearly 20 years ago, when Maradona signed for an ailing Napoli ahead of the more fashionable Italian giant. He unlike Rooney must have had supreme confidence in himself, he knew he was good enough, good enough to turn Napoli into Seria A champions, and similarly his country Argentina into World Champions. Maybe I am just being bitter, but I still can’t help feel let down and disappointed by this young man who will not give us a chance. The question all Evertonians are asking themselves, what happened to Once a Blue always a Blue.

So what do Rooney's fellow Everton players feel about all this, these are the players who reportedly sneaked him out of Bellfield to a rendezvous with his agent, in order to sneak past the paparazzi. These are the players who he is inescapably criticising; these are the players who he feels are not good enough to play in the same team as him. I keep getting a mental image in my head, of Rooney getting into Paul Stretford's car and turning to Stubbsey, pushing a tenner into his hand, and saying; ‘here you go son’. What does Alan Stubbs feel about this young man who he has obviously befriended and looked out for when he was that fresh faced school kid playing his first few games for their beloved Everton. From where I stand it looks to me like he is taking the Mickey. Stubbsey may not realise it yet but Rooney has just insulted him, and me and everyone else associated with the club. It maybe the unintentional actions of a misdirected teenager but never the less he has insulted them and therefore he was using them, one minute saying your not fit to lace my boots but then asking them to give him a lift out of the training ground. He is basically taking the piss out of them before he moves on to man u. Maybe he has Stubbsey preparing a T-shirt with ‘Once a red always a red’, for his debut.

It appears to me that anything the boy wonder does wrong is someone else fault. The Rooney family are looking for the member of the family who first took him to the brothel. They want to excommunicate him from the fold because it is his or her fault Wayne kept going back again and again to visit the prostitute. It has also been intimated that Everton had agreed with Paul Stretford, that Everton would sell Rooney. This was during the tenure of Mr Birch, and most probably without the agreement of David Moyes. If there is any truth in this, it might provide the reason for Birch’s sudden and early departure. Anyhow it will not be Rooney's fault he left, he is too talented to be blamed, there are to many sickafants hanging onto his coat-tails, assuring him that it is someone else’s fault. Well Wayne, we know the truth, the bottom line is that you do not want to play for Everton Football Club. Andy Naybour. (01/09/04)

Rooney Statement

Rooney do you have no shame, morality or decency about you? Can't you try to maintain some dignity and just go, quietly? Do you really have to stick the knife in and accuse the club of making this difficult and turning the fans against you! No Wayne lad you did that yourself, it started with your exclusive with the scum, then by keeping the club dangling for weeks over the contract, and never having the decency to speak to the local media about what you really wanted. I don't wish you any harm, but I don't wish you any luck either, in fact I couldn't care less what happens to you. I just hope people lay off your family, you're an adult and accountable for your own actions. Janet, Liverpool. (01/09/04)

From legend to leper

To pass-up the chance of being a legend in your own City for a life of ridicule.......... is a wise decision? Frank. (01/09/04)

Rooney Leaves

So another idol leaves us, I also remember the sick feeling when Bally went, the absolute devastation when Big Joe no longer wore the number 9.So long Wayne, just give your agent a call when you no longer grace the back page but feature only in the woman's pages explaining where it all went wrong and see if he can get you a game at Boston. Players come and players go but there will always be an Everton. The Higgys. (01/09/04)

The Duke

To be honest I wouldn't of believed it had I not read his comments on Blue Kipper. I don't get it. What was the point of wearing that once a blue always a blue shirt? It all seems to fake now. Is this transfer and all this chat about playing in Europe his agent's doing? Not sure. Personally I think it was a combination of his agent, the press and other players during and after the Euro tournament continually bigging him and his ego right up. 'You should be playing for this team or that team Wayne. Not Everton, your so much better than they are.' Toe rags.
I'm fed up with this great club being used as some sort of lilly-pad for players to use and jump off of to further their careers regardless of the effect it has on the club and fans that has helped them get where they are.
And those so called football pundits who think he should go? 'Well all he'll get is another season of mediocrity,' I heard one whine. They can fuck right off.

I really thought he was gonna grow into an Everton legend. Not since Big Dunc was sold off have I felt so gutted.
Cheers. Kudos on the site by the way. With regards, deian vincent. (Inchy on the B/K boards). (01/09/04)

He's Gone

So that's it he's finally gone-at the time of writing this its either Man Utd or Newcastle. Either way £25 million for a 18 year who excluding a awesome strike at Arsenal and a winner at Leeds never really delivered for Everton considering his England achievements. Its good business but if he signs for Newcastle then the question is why? Everton are a far bigger club, we've won more trophies have a greater history and unlike Newcastle (shearer, kluivert) are laying the foundations for a youthfull team which will take time-yes our stadium is 2nd class yes we are short of cash but if wayne is as he claims once a blue always a blue he would realise that staying at Everton and becoming a legend is far greater than any amount of money and after all newcastle are only in the uefa cup at competition we could seriously aim for if the supposed £20 million is injected into the club.

Then there's Man Utd, yes he would probably win trophies but would he fit in with van nistlerooy smith and saha all fighting for places? and further more wasnt the old trafford crowd calling rooney every name under the sun winding him up so much he lashed out with some pretty hefty tackles (eg ronaldo). He's already proved he can play at the highest level internationally whilst still at Everton so why leave? I myself would play for the club for nothing never mind £50'000 a week! and the excuses he's given are not good enough. We'd rather be told in full your reasons wayne instead of trying to tiptoe around the matter with lame 2nd rate excuses. ONCE A BLUE ALWAYS A BLUE WAYNE REMEMBER or has Paul Stretford brainwashed you, I've seen the pictures of a 10 year old Rooney picking up trophies in a dogs of war t-shirt so why leave if its in your blood? The only comparison is when Duncan Ferguson left that Wayne could relate to during his 'supporter' years yet ferguson was forced out you Wayne have basically said you do not want to play for the team you supposedly regard as your team.

Yes you may not get on with certain people like your well publicised bust up with Moyes but surely you could have put that side or bit your lip because you were at Everton fc the team many of us can only dream of playing for and if you would have stayed for fifty grand a week and instead you chose to go down the spoilt brat franny jeffers route. How many kids have you seen with your name on the back of there shirts? how guttered were you when ferguson left? times that by ten you were there idol you stood for a new everton and now well I don't know what now no one is greater than Everton football club and that includes Wayne Rooney. Ste Speke. (01/09/04)

Give Us £30m

Fantastic result against WBA! Tommy g was great….Give us 30 mil and we can build….. we are bigger than wayne rooney…. Yes he is a fantastic player, but we need more than one center forward…… and the money will let us do that.. we love rooney but in the face of it he is a small part of our history…….we should concentrate on keeping tommy g…. gutted though….. what happened to the dreams of scoring in the Gwladys st end…….? I, and god knows how many others still dream about doing just that…….maybe the agent age has put a cap on the romance of football... fuck. Mark & Tracey & Ian Brown. NZ. (01/09/04)

I LIVE IN HOPE and REMAIN AS ALWAYS A TRUE BLUE

It wouldn't have been so bad if the club through it's crippling debts had had to sell Rooney. However to find out he actuallly want's to leave at this moment in time is a disgrace. I wonder what his family of Everton supporters think. If he is going to carry on like he has done he'll be better off with the likes of Bowyer and Dyer, people of his
moral calibre, loyalty and dedication. He couldn't have chosen a worse moment to leave.

I'm sorry to be so pessimistic, but even if we could got the £30m for Rooney and even if we had 4 weeks to transfer deadline day, which we don't, would anyone actually want to come to Everton at the moment, at least anybody who is going to improve the team. I LIVE IN HOPE and REMAIN AS ALWAYS A TRUE BLUE.

It would be great if when Wayne leaves we could get some quality players, but to be honest I can't see John O'Shea wanting to move to Everton from being a regular at Man United. The lad is good and would be great alongside Yobo. I don't think Bellion is good enough for Everton and god knows what Ferguson sees in him. I f Rooney is going to go we need the £30million for him or maybe £25million plus Alan Smith or O'shea. The worrying area of the pitch has always been midfield for me anyway, I have a good feeling about Cahill but we still need a bit of depth in that area.

With the duke going and Radsinski gone we are going to be short up front. With Campbell and Ferguson so injury prone it leaves us Marcus and Chadwick. I'm not sure about Marcus I really know little about him but fingers crossed he will get into double figures. I always felt Chadwick had promise particularly when he had a run in the team a couple of seasons ago, but he doesn't seem to have built on that, lets hope he can live up to his promise now. Martin Irons-Roberts. (01/09/04)

Rooney Departure

This does not surprise me at all, it only confirms what I have believed for a few years now, and that is all football players are money grabbing scum. How much money do you need son? 5yr contract at £50k a week is about 12.5 mill and along with other endorsements equals a lot of money. this would bring you to the age of 24 and again another 5 yr contract? Support the club and not the Players. Tony (Huyton). (01/09/04)

And so the curtain comes down……..

And so the curtain comes down (Bill would love that!) on the “career” of Wayne Rooney at Everton. Personally I don’t have a gripe with the lad. If he doesn’t want to play for Everton he’s not good enough for Everton. I’ll say that again: If he doesn’t want to play for Everton he’s not good enough for Everton. I won’t lose any sleep over him leaving. Don’t care how good he may have become.

The decision of the individual aside I have serious, very serious misgivings about the ineptitude, amateur, cack-handed and downright scandalous way the club is run. Despite siren warnings from all comers over the last few years we or “they” to be precise, have blundered from one almighty cock-up to even mightier cock-up. Only in the short space of a few months this summer we’ve suffered a downward spiral both on and off the pitch that has gathered such momentum that the Summer Everton Pantomime has been cancelled because the real one has rolled into town. City 5-1, lowest league placing for fifty years, China tour cancelled, Rooney & Euro 04, Birch comes and goes, £1.5M to spend on players, The Sun!! The new shirt fiasco, an endless list of alleged missed transfer targets, Tamlin & Abercrombie depart, Gregg Vs Kenwright, Lord Grantchester………. Have I forgotten anything? Apart from Duncan Ferguson being refused permission to enter the US of A? Probably but that much has happened it all seems to blur into a daily frenzy of breaking stories that leaves us exactly where? Well surprise surprise as if we all didn’t know, an eighteen year old offered £50k a week two months ago decides to ply his trade elsewhere. Surprised my…Jim Royal!!

Taking Rooney first before the real lamb is slaughtered:
He said: “This has been one of the hardest decisions of my life but I feel the time is now right for me to move forward with my career. The Euros were a fantastic experience for me, it made me realise I could play at the highest level.
“To do that I need to be with a club that is playing in Europe every year. I hope the Everton fans can come to understand my decision and I hope the transfer fee Everton Football Club receive will help the club move forward.”
Career! What career? Am I the only one staggered by the arrogance of this statement? Well I shouldn’t be. Modern life being what it is these “kids” are force fed their own propaganda to the extent that they actually bloat on it. Thank you Murdoch, Sky, Baddiel & Skinner, Gabby bloody Yorath, the FA and all the other thieves out there who’ve collectively prostituted and warped the essence of football to the extent that “Bling Bling Mega self-important gobshite” becomes the most apt collective adjective for our “stars”.

Stars who think that at 18, having scored “that” goal and a few punts against Euro minnows believe they “need” to be playing in Europe every year. To hell with the crying nine year olds wondering what to do with their combined Xmas/birthday £45 Rooney shirt presents. To hell with the 2500 of us who stood in torrential rain away at Portsmouth cheering him on when he was finding it “difficult” to adapt. Sod the people who pay your wages, the management team who developed and refined your skills and put such faith in you and offered you your opportunities. Sod you all. I’m saying nothing! Well except to the Sun, oh and er, the people at Pringles and Coca Cola too and well er, perhaps the odd hack from the dailies at Euro 04, you know the ones who thrive on slagging off Everton and well er, maybe nice old Garth Crooks too!

Yes what gets us is the silence and disregard. To suddenly blurt out four days before the transfer window closes that he wants to leave because he realised at Euro 04 that he could perform… blah blah blah…….. have you been asleep kid for two months? The money should help us out!!! If only we had time to spend it. Not a single word and it’s all the agents’ fault? Nonsense. Old enough to buy a house, go to war, vote, drive a car, go to visit prostitutes, yet young, naïve and manipulated enough not to disclose your coveted intentions. Doesn’t wash. Enough said.

Only at Everton. Again….Only at Everton. A business with no leadership. No Chief Executive, no Chief Operations officer, no board to speak of, no plan, no idea and no flaming hope!
I’m afraid that as mischievous and cowardly as the agent and player have acted the management of the club should have dealt with it. You can go on about the activities of agents but at the end of the day all clubs have to deal with them. Where was plan B? In fact where was plan A? If you had a holdall with £25m in it would you be that careless? While the infighting continued with the posturing played out in public, who’s watching the thief slip in the back door. Could they have not forseen what might have happened after Euro 04? Was there no plan in place to deal with all possibilities? Obviously not and for that Gregg, Woods and Kenwright are not fit to run a cornershop. Endless platitudes about being a Blue (BK) and restoring Everton to its’ rightful position (PG) are not worth a carrot.

Then to announce that it’s up to the manager…WHAT!! “I don’t know if he’ll be here next week” etc etc!!!! WHAT!! And we’re led to believe that you talk to the manager 10-20 times a day? What do you talk about? Wayne bloody Sleep? Will Marcus Bent be here? Joseph Jobo? What you’re admitting to is that you have no grasp, no control, no management of the club. You are admitting that you have no idea what is going on. You have no input as to how your employers behave and you have no realistic vision or plan to develop the club. End of. No chat.
This club needs leadership and it needs it NOW! Appoint a Chief Exec, an opps manager and a management structure able to develop the club. It’s pointless saying “get lost” but it’s not pointless saying “wake up…smell the coffee” Stop living in a blue misted dream world and get real to the fact that we are currently a joke club run by jokers, not because Wayne Rooney has decided to leave but because the “management” can’t even chill the beer never mind handle a transfer that should have been done eight weeks ago. Stop living in a 70’s timewarp and take a look at Arsenal a club comparable to ours. Watch and learn. If they can, we can.
Not good enough. End of. Marvin Thomas. (01/09/04)

Rooney

I'd just like to assure Wayne Rooney that I fully understand his decision to leave Everton Football Club. It is the fact that I understand it which leads me to say that I will never, ever, welcome him back to 'the club he supported as a boy'. To be perfectly honest, the best bet for us now is to get rid asap and get the money spent on someone who might think twice about stabbing us in the back. And before anyone comes in and says 'oh yeah but he was always going to do it, its only to be expected', well perhaps you're right. But by putting in a transfer request he's automatically driven down the price we're likely to get for him, and even if it was 'only to be expected', that's no reason to forgive him for actively damaging Everton football club. Even if he doesn't care about it, I certainly do. Keep the faith, people, Rory O'Keeffe. (01/09/04)
