New Kit

A kits a kit. As long as the shirt is blue and its got the badge on it, I'll buy it for my kids. But why don't the dozy bastards bring it out before the kids break up for the Summer hols. Every year My kids want the NEW kit to go on holiday and to pose around town all summer. Will Everton ever learn? I doubt it. Stevie G. Chelsea. (06/07/05)

New Kit

I think the new kit is great. I like that it has a collar on. I particularly like the little white bit under the arms. I also think its good that we have kept white shorts an socks. By the way when is the away kit out? Or when do we at least get to see it? Bigjonraff. (06/07/05)

Signings

I am starting to panic already! I would usually send one e-mail per season thanking everybody from the Almighty down for preserving our Premiership status once again. I now find that I have sent at least three in the last couple of months. I could not agree more with Bluenose Bimbo and a few others who have voiced their concern at the lack of transfer activity. To have given Naysmith a three year deal and not yet signed Arteta beggars belief.
The latest in the press down here, Londonish, is that Moyes is looking at an Italian? keeper for £4m. The only thing to say about that is ROBERT GREEN !

I was not particularly keen on signing Parker and I think Bellamy and/or Bowyer are a recipe for disaster. Having seen who Moyes has signed so far I am more than happy to trust he will continue in a similar vein. However having supported the club for so long I can remember the days when if Everton wanted a player then the deal was more or less done and dusted as soon as their interest was made known. Now it would appear that not even the lure of Champions League football can entice players to the mighty Blues.

My final point concerns Bents comments about playing L~#+*^%"! in the Champions League. Never mind that, I say bring on Caersws or Glentoran and get in the competition proper. There are a lot of people, especially down here, waiting for us to fall at the first hurdle if only to say "I told you so". Not least the mob from across the park.
I shall, as ever, keep the faith. John Andrews. (06/07/05)

New Kit

The new kit is great but....when are we going to keep a home kit for 2 seasons? Every year new home kit for about 6 years ( i might be wrong) what do you think? Joe. (06/07/05)

Urban Dictionary

Check this out I nearly pissed myself, Do a search on Google and just put red shite and click on i'm feeling lucky, it then brings up the urban dictionary look at the definition it shows as below:

1. Red Shite
Liverpool Football Club and their supporters who, as is well documented, like to fuck their mothers.
give me a stanley knife mate- in fact, make it two, we're playing the Red Shite on saturday

Cheapskates

Stop moaning will you penny pinches. It's a nice kit. Whats wrong with your kid getting a new kit once a year? I don't want to see my kids running around in the same clothing for years on end and lets face it , kids wear their kits more than other clobber you get them. Just leave the booze alone for one Saturday and that will pay for your kids smart new appearance you selfish fuckers. I bet you're still wearing your Everton "benetton" top from the eighties and your poor kid is wearing your half Efc/Celtic bobble hat. Muza. Birkenhead. (06/07/05)

Stop Moaning

Why do people moan about the shirts being changed and the prices charged. Every non necessary item we buy falls into the same category, that's the product that's the price. If you want it buy it, if you don't then don't. Don't buy it then moan. Kevin Jones. (06/07/05)

New Kit

It's like like the old one, but it's Everton so it's bloody brilliant! I wonder what the away kit will look like? Stacey Baynahm. RHYL. (06/07/05)

Arteta

If you have a look on the EVERTON web site at the 1st team photos Mikel Arteta has gone?????? Does this mean he's gone for good, come on BILL try and keep him don't let the like of the SHITE get him. Bluenose Bimbo. (06/07/05)

Alan "I'm a greedy bastard" Stubbs

Just read your little bit about Stubbsy leaving us to join Villa. Even if it's not true, one thing's for sure in that he wants out. Me thinks he's been hanging around with his bezzie Rooney (who he won't hear a bad word said against) too much. He's only interested in the money the greedy old prick. How many millions do players want these days? If you are lucky enough to be the captain of your boyhood team that would eclipse the millions in the bank, well for me it would. Stubbs is quick to forget that he's already banked around 5M in his four years with us, two of which he nearly lead us in to Div 1!! Time to go you greedy old has been, step forward the Dane.... EFC Forever (06/07/05)

Andy & The Moyesiah

Hopefully now that Simon Jordan has stopped mouthing off about how £6 million only buys Andy's Johnson's trainers and there has been an eerie quiet surrounding the transfer Everton will shock us all and announce that Andy is to become a blue. When we beat Palace 4 nil at home last season Routledge flattered a tad but Andy Johnson worked very hard and was the only real player they had on the pitch. In a game which Everton dominated he still looked dangerous every time he got the ball and shoots on sight, on target.

It was the first time I had been in the Enclosure since 1979 ( and then it was only to get from the Street End to the Park End ) but you get a brilliant view of how a forward works the line, how he drags defenders out wide, how he spins off the defender and you can see how he wanted and asked for the ball to be played to him. Andy Johnson was outstanding. If he had been playing with one decent midfield player who could supply a pass he would have given Everton a lot more trouble. Add into this his work ethic and the fact he is super fast he could be the perfect foil for Beattie and when needed the Big Dunc.

Then he is a little baldy bloke - a winning combination with the Blues so far. I cannot see anyone else I would rather have in the team. How to motivate Beattie - ' Hey James have you noticed how desperate Sven is for a big centre forward with skill ? It is that bad he has even tried Peter Crouch !!!!! So get your shit together, get some goals and you will be going to the World Cup. Oh and by the way Andy Johnson will be your strike partner '.

Same goes if The Moyesiah gets a chance to talk to Andy Johnson. ' You and Beattie form a deadly partnership and how can Sven ignore either of you. If you stay at Palace let's face it Andy you will be watching the World Cup on the TV - sign here'. Dream team up front - goal a game virtually guaranteed. Add in Cahill's goals, maybe 8/9 from Davies and others chipping in and in a 38 game season we are certain of over 50 goals which then ensures a top minimum 6 finish as long as the defence do their job which I do not think is in any doubt whatsoever. Looking good. Believe in The Moyesiah, he is on a mission and we are his Blues Brothers.
Paulie. One of his disciples. (06/07/05)

New Kit

Looks quite smart. Wonder what the away one is like ? This will look good on, hopefully, many European nights to come at Goodison Park ! Sean Graham, Glasgow. (01/07/05)

Season Tickets

This won't be a popular email but it's my opinion. I sympathise with the fans who like myself have a season ticket along with my 7 year old son whose ticket price for the Upper Gwladys has doubled in the last year but, at only £11 per game hardly excessive and a hell of a lot cheaper than a ticket on the day. Please don't accuse the club of ripping you off because we have all benefited from low priced tickets compared to just about every club in the top flight, bar Wimbledon, since I can remember, 29 years actually. This is where this problem stems from. We need to keep up financially with other clubs, let's not forget Agent Johnson's legacy is still costing us around £2.5million a year, but we've left ourselves quite a way behind, partly by trying to help our own fans, and now needing to address it quickly. So painful, a struggle for some, but realistic and not 'ripping us off' or 'forgetting about the real fans' please. I'm not happy about it, I'm not well off, but as long as we stay competitive with other clubs outside of Man U and the London clubs, who I'm pretty sure, as with other established Premier League clubs, don't let kids in for under £11, then I'll reluctantly accept that this is the price of football today and a necessary evil. Sorry. Steve from Walton. (01/07/05)

Season Ticket

I cant believe the tickets prices for my 2 kids in the Park End, under 11"s £105 each season 2003/2004=£210, one daughter turns 11 for season 2004/2005 and her price goes up from £105 to £291 an extra £186 and under 10"s an extra £50, season 2004/2005 £291 and £150=£441 an extra £231 from last season, this season 2005/2006 under 16"s £314 an extra £23, under 11"s £ 236 an extra £86, season 2005/2006 £314 and £236=550, so in 2 seasons you have charged 2 Evertonian kids an extra £340 and that's not including mine, the club is a disgrace to do this to kids, they wont be renewing there tickets, kids for the future NO CHANCE. Jimmy. a devastated dad...(01/07/05)

New Kit ....Again

I would just like to say firstly that I am a mad Everton fan and have been for 25 years, I have an Eleven year daughter who is also very keen on the Blues, so last season I decided to invest in a new home jersey for her. Now you see where this is heading, my point is: it was not that long ago when everyone was moaning about about Manure changing kits every season. But what difference is it with our Club, I think (but I maybe wrong) this will be our fifth new home jersey as in as many seasons. I know we have had the best season for a long time and we have qualified for europe. But please don't take the P*** out of the supporter, this is don't forget The people's club.

I just felt that I had to share my opinions with you all....... Feel better now. Great site guys, keep up the great work. See you in Europe. Gavin Moss. (01/07/05)

Champions League - We're Having A Laugh DVD

I have had to change mine as the sound quality was poor. The replacement is just as bad. Anybody else had similar difficulties? John Jones. (01/07/05)

SUMMER SIGNINGS!!!

I'VE JUST READ THAT THE SHITE ARE INTERESTED IN ARTETA. IF WE MISS OUT ON HIS SIGNING THE BOARD SHOULD HANG THIER HEADS IN SHAME. TO SAY THE TRANSFARES THIS SUMMER HAVE BEEN A DISAPPOINTMENT WOULD BE AN UNDERSTATEMENT.

I DON'T WANT THE CLUB TO BE HELD TO RANSOM BY ANY ONE BUT IT IS OBVIOUS THAT IF YOU WANT A CLASS PLAYER BADLY ENOUGH THEN YOU HAVE TO PAY THE WAGES. PLAYERS USED TO SAY THEY WERE JOINING CLUBS BECAUSE THEY PLAY IN THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE. EVERTON TO OUR DISMAY HAVE NOW PROVED THAT THIS IS NOT THE CASE. PLAYERS GO TO CLUBS WHO PAY THE MOST MONEY. COME ON BILL + CO. GET THE WALLET OUT. STEVE. (01/07/05)

TRANSFERS

I CAN'T HELP BUT THINK THAT DAVEY MOYES IS JUST MAKIN EXCUSES WHY WE HAVE NOT SIGNED ANY MORE PLAYERS THIS SUMMER. DON'T GET ME WRONG, DAVIES IS A GOOD PLAYER (WHEN HE'S NOT INJURED THAT IS) BUT THEY NEED AT LEAST 4 MORE NEW FACES BEFORE THE CHAMPS QUALIFIER, BUT THAT NOW LOOKS UNLIKELY.

I AM 19 YEARS OLD AND THIS IS THE BEST THING THAT HAS HAPPENED TO THE TOFFEES SINCE WINNING TH FA CUP IN 95. I JUST DONT THINK THE MANAGEMENT TEAM AT GOODISON ARE TAKING THIS SERIUOSLY ENOUGH. THERE IS PLENTY OF QUALITY PLAYERS OUT THERE BUT I THINK JUST COS WE ARE IN THE QUALIFIERS DAVEY MOYES THOUGHT EVERYONE WOULD WANT TO COME AND PLAY FOR US NOW THAT IS NOT TRUE IS IT? I DO REALLY HOPE THEY PROVE ME WRONG I REALLY DO! SO COME ON DAVEY SPEND SOME PENNIES PLEASE. BRING IN A FEW FACES THAT ARE GONNA HELP KEEP THE BLUES IN THE EUROPEAN PLACES THIS TIME NEXT YEAR. C'MON THE BLUES. MIKE LIVO (THE MOST AMBITOUS BLUENOSE ON THE PLANET) C'MON BLUES!!! (01/07/06)

Just Say No

I hope I can bank on your agreement that EFC is not just a football club but almost a religion. If we supported this club simply because of footballing reasons, the last 10 years is enuff to swap the 'Chang beer' logo for 'Emirates' - hoping nobody notices. The ineptitude of our board, effort it takes for us to do anything worthy of notice is enough to turn one gray overnight. But we have stuck by the club through the most dismal of times because its a way of life for us - much more than a football club.
The one area where the club has not made any progress worthy of note is on issues to do with race. I am not going to get on my soap box (again) but we still have 'fans' engaged in blatant, talk less of the covert, form of racism. For this reason alone the signing of Lee Bowyer - a known and proven racist thug- is most unwelcome. His signing will give the minority racist element who already have an unacceptable voice on the terraces, an ambassador on the pitch. A player so ill-disciplined to actually brawl with his colleague on the field of play is a poor ambassador of his profession at all conceivable levels. Everyone may deserve another chance but we can all agree that this guy has had numerous and there is no indication of remorse let alone redemption. If only the best will do (NSNO) and Brummies say he is not good enough for them, the he certainly is not good enough for us. Abi aka blackandblu. (01/07/05)

Not Happy About STUBBS

Naysmith gets 3 year contract and Stubbs gets one and now Stubbs maybe off to Villa. Can someone please please tell me what Naysmith did last season to deserve a 3 year contract. I know we had a good season but if I
remember it had JACK to do with Naysmith. BLUENOSE BIMBO. (01/07/05)

ART FOR ARTS SAKE

When are we going to sign Mikky Arteta? What's the problem? I can just see the headlines in the press. 'Arteta signs for the Red-Shite! We can't let him slip away because he is class. On the subject of Bellamy, £50k a week, wouldn't touch him with a barge pole. James Mullarkey. (01/07/05)

Wedding Day

True blues Brian Farley and Joanne Oliver tie the knot (25 06 05) at Blessed Sacrament on Walton Vale, congratulations, talk of a 13th August wedding were quickly quashed by the groom amid fears of an empty church but probably a full evening do. I would be grateful if the above could be put on your great site, Thanks. Chris Farley. (25/06/05)
