Tickets For Home leg Against Bucharest

Copy of mail sent to Everton.

I am disgusted with your 'treatment' of non-season ticket holders, yet again. Please also refer this to your complaints department. You will be getting no more of my hard earned cash until you can at least demonstrate a slight awareness of the fan base you have.

I have read on the official site that season ticket holders can purchase an adult ticket for £20 and a junior ticket for £10 for the home leg against Bucharest. For going to watch the same game, non-season ticket holders are expected to pay £25 for an adult ticket and £12 for a junior ticket. Haven't you learned from the Villarreal game? Screw you!!

What the hell do you think season ticket holders are? Do you think they are any more loyal than non-season ticket holders? A season ticket gives you a reduced price entry to 19 home Premiership games, plus a couple of 'perks'. No more, no less! That is assuming the season ticket holder attends all 19 home Premiership games. How many season ticket holders attend all 19 Premiership home games? How many season ticket holders call the box office when they can't make it to a game to say "sell my seat please, I can't make it on that day?" The answer is "None" because season ticket holders regard that seat as 'theirs'. It is not! It is a seat in a football stadium for which they have had the good fortune to pay a reduced price. Do day-to-day train 'season ticket' holders get the same preferential treatment that you are offering? Do day-to-day train 'season ticket' holders get to sit in the same seat on every train as they did the morning/day/week before? No they don't! They just get the same as everyone else on the train, for a reduced price.

As a blue scouser to the bone who now lives outside of Liverpool and who, for work and family commitments, can't get to every home game and who spent over £3500 last season alone following his beloved blues (again, home and away), I am disgusted with the direction in which you seem to be headed.

I was going to purchase my tickets online today for the home again against Wigan, as I do for every home game at FULL price, but when I saw the Bucharest home game rip-off I decided against it. I also won't be 'mopping-up' the remainder of the away tickets, as I usually do, which 'season ticket' holders can't be bothered buying.

Yours in total disgust. Chris Jones

The Good, The Bad & The Ugly

I've just read 'Rilogs and Little Jack's' email (see below) about his vision of our fans in Valencia and feel compelled to set the record straight.

I too went on that trip with my 10 year old son and will remember it forever, for two reasons:-

1. Having been dropped off in the centre of Valencia, instead of drinking myself stupid in the bars, we took the short taxi journey to the beach, where my son and I played beach football for 3 hours to the sheer joy of the locals. Skipping the journey to Villarreal (see point 2. below), we had a fantastic time at the ground mixing with the thousands of other blues and the local Villarreal supporters with great friendship (see photo attached) and without any hint of a problem. The game and atmosphere was fantastic, I was so proud to be a blue even though we were denied our destiny by the worst refereeing performance anyone could have witnessed. But ...

2. The coach journey from Valencia to Villarreal made me sick to be an Evertonian. The journey was played to the background of one obscene, foul mouthed, racist song after another. Both I and my son were disgusted and ashamed. Even arguably the greatest black player to were the blue shirt (with huge pride I may add), Kevin Campbell came in for disgusting racist treatment. Often kids see things clearer than adults. My son's view was simple:-

'Dad, this isn't right! We are better than this - we are Evertonians!' Says it all really.

Being in a minority of two, we sat in silence for fear of agravating the situation. Having witnessed racist behaviour on previous away trips (and reported them formally to EFC with absolutely no response!), can anyone tell me how we stop this?

So when Rilogs says we are the greatest fans, he is both right and so painfully wrong.

Steve Williams, Prenton. (13/09/05)

Greatest Fans In The World

Wasn't that some sight in the square in Valencia? A sea of blue and white! Everyone was impeccably behaved with some brilliant songs and the usual one liners. True ambassadors for EFC and football in general. I took my 11 yr old son and he was amazed . He'll remember our first champions league game in Europe for the right reasons because we are the greatest fans in the world. Then, as usual, we were shit on from a great height. So proud of you all.
Rilogs and little Jack (Huyton). (03/09/05)

Anyone From The Oak Lost A Flag?

At the end of the villarreal game a friend of ours was leaving the ground when the police stopped him and told him to take the flag down, telling the fat moustache it wasn't his he was then informed that if the flag wasn't his
then the baton on the back of the neck was. Anyway we took it and have brought it home. the banner reads:

ROYAL OAK

JAY                                        MARK

RYAN                 MICK
TOMO                                       DAYMO

USUAL SUSPECTS

The flag kept us warm at Castellon station then went up to Salou for a break before jetting home. so if anyone wants to claim a slightly wrinkled slightly tanned banner contact Alec on 07984918147. Alec. (03/09/05)

WARNING TO ALL EVERTONIANS WHO WENT TO VILLARREAL

Just writing to warn all Evertonians who travelled to Villarreal and withdrew money from a cashpoint. My mate did this in Valencia and his Card has been cloned and he has been getting withdrawals in Madrid. £400 has been taken from his account. Luckily, he checked his internet banking today so got on to it quickly and got his card cancelled. Those who do not use Internet banking tho will not have a clue about this until their statement comes through, which by then could be a lot of money in debt! So, if you could print this on your website and urge all Evertonians who withdrew money over there to check there bank account before it could be too late. Obviously, the dickheads who done this knew there would be thousands of Evertonians on the piss and withdrawing money out without giving this a second thought. Thanks. Mark Wilson. (03/09/05)

Spanish Report on Villarreal v Everton

Please find translation from local paper of VILLARREAL game, although hard to read in places it makes interesting reading, enjoy:

The Villarreal made history yesterday and will be between greatest of the great ones. The yellow set suffered until the last minute to undo of the Everton in the Madrigal. Golazo of Forlán in time of discount gave passes to the Villarreal for Liga de definitive Campeones. EFE/VILA-REAL Forlán tries to undo of a player of the Everton in sends of the party of last night in the Madrigal. ImprimirEnviar The equipment of First will enter to compete in the Glass to double party Publicity The Villarreal was able the objective to obtain the classification for the final phase of Liga de Campeones, after winning by 2-1 to the Everton, in an encounter in which the castellonenses could win with clarity, but that him complicó in the final section of the shock.

The Everton, with the 1-2 adverse one of the going, raised a brave encounter, with a strong pressure in all the field that incomodó much to the Villarreal, since the castellonenses suffer when they do not have the possession of the ball. Nevertheless, the push of the English was not sufficient to put in hardships to the local equipment. The Argentine goal so single Barbosa had to be used thoroughly in a closing of head of Cahill, after a play to stopped ball, only offensive resource of a Everton very limited technically and in which only Arteta gave a little criterion to the circulation of the ball. The Villarreal did not find its habitual style of game but the fortune smiled to him in zurdazo from the frontal of Sorín that bounced in the Weir power station and displaced to the English goal, that impotent as saw the ball at heart finished of his portería. The goal adjusted the spirit of those of Liverpool and spurred to the Villarreal. The greater presence in the game of Riquelme and the mobility of Forlán in attack changed the decoration of the encounter and so single the good interventions of the Martyn goal prevented that the Spanish set retired to the rest with a greater advantage.

In the renewal the Villarreal left arranged to close the eliminatory one definitively. Riquelme took the baton and all the Everton shook with the exception of its guardameta Martyn, that was magnificent and with his shutdowns it allowed that its equipment did not leave made goals the Madrigal. Free a direct one executed skillfully by Mikel Arteta allowed the Everton to tie the encounter and to dream about also equaling eliminatory, the objective one that to point was to obtain as soon as a pair of minutes later, in a center that ran into in the body of Sorín and repelled the stringer. The party entered a dangerous phase for those of Pellegrini, that tried "to sleep" the party, although the Everton, with the entrance to the land of game of players more technicians, created more danger and ten minutes of the end it saw as Collina annulled a goal to him to Ferguson before the sigh of lightening of the launching slips of the Madrigal. The Everton was sent to by all and time and time again pumped balls to the castellonense area in search of the goal that allowed him to play the prorogation. The Villarreal was defended as it could to prevent it and in a counterstroke, in the time of prolongation, it sentenced Diego Forlán, after a great raid by horseback of Sorín that served in tray the 2-1 definitive one to him.

Regards Kenny Evans. (03/09/05)

redshites witchcraft association

I always thought that Clive Thomas was somehow influenced to disallow Hamilton's Goal, then we have Hansen's hand ball clearance on the line at wembley, more recently Graham Polls disallowed derby goal then we have Ferguson and Cahill's two headers inside the six yard box that missed against villareal when normally they would have broke the fucking net accompanied by the best referee in the world disallowing a perfectly good goal. Added to this the loss of our new dixie to manure then something says we have a curse against us more than likely by the red shite who hired the cornish white witch. How much damage could they have incurred to our football club by probably selling their souls to satan in order to fuck us up. well here we are on the verge of a uefa cup outing instead of a champions league place. Those red cunts should be brought to task over what they have done to our club as to deny it would be giving them the green light to curse the club in future, if we don't wake up and smell the coffee now and publicly challenge the twats they will get away with more fucking murder at our expense does anyone know how to combat this or fucking agree that something weird is fucking going on. Chris Simpson. (03/09/05)

Alan Green

WONDERFULL MAN. LIVING PROOF THAT THERE IS SUCH A THING AS AN IRISH JOKE. FROM THE STRICHEN SCOUSER. (03/09/05)

Season Tickets

With regards to Alan Williams, you should pay more attention to the phrase 'prawn sandwich brigade'. To say, and I quote "My season ticket has gone up but who cares" is pretty funny. Ignorance is bliss for you guys I guess. Mike, the real world. (03/09/05)

Ask Radz

There's a link on the Fulham website to 'Ask Radz', Below is the question I submitted....

I'd like to ask Tomasz Radzinski about his transfer decision. He left Everton to join a 'bigger club' in Fulham, who had European ambition. Since his move Fulham have reached the lofty heights of relegation battle fodder, whilst Everton on the other hand have struggled, only attaining Champions League football. My question to you Thomasz is this.... Isn't Hindsight a wonderful thing? Thanks Dan. (03/09/05)

Is It Me?

Having just watched Villarreal V Everton (the better team, over two legs did win) but I come away more convinced than ever that Eufa had a quite word in the refs ear and pointed out that they didn't want five English teams in the competition, Everton being the least fashionable obviously were the ones to go and Calligia certainly made sure of that, I don't think that he made a mistake, he is too good a ref for that, and then I look back on the first leg and wonder about decisions that went against us then, In history there are too many poor refereeing decisions. To my mind, for the poor old ref to get the blame, but we are all susceptible to the odd suggestion from those that employ use, a quite word in the ear of the ref about what is the best outcome for the footballing bodies, and hay presto unfashionable Everton dumped into the Uefa cup, whilst their hero's (The red shite, who didn't qualify for the competition, march on bringing millions from TV rights in Norway, and Scandinavia) England score a goal to knock out the Portuguese home nation, no way disallowed, Everton score in the FA cup semi 3 minutes before the end to destroy the red shites dream of the treble, can't allow that Mr Thomas can we, and Han(d)son stops the ball on the line, well the red shite deserve to win it, wouldn't be good for the TV otherwise

It is about time we stopped blaming the ref, or come up with a better way of monitoring the refs, i.e post match video analysis and published % accuracy of decision making.

I say loud and clear, corruption is alive and well, and flourishes in our game, not for the gain of some petty crook, or crooked football club, but for the gain of those who make a living out of the popularity of this, our game, via the popular media. Mark (Dorset) (03/09/05)

Backhander

UEFA have stitched us like kippers(not bluekipper's).........the Baldy headed tw-t has obviously taken a (George Graham) for his pension fund, having done a number on us for UEFA, who see Everton as a mediocre club who don't belong in the Champions league, and have conspired with others to shaft us!

It was always on the cards, when these conspiring bast-rds, are looking after the interests of the red shiiiiite, falling over themselves and availing the red shiiiite and their directors of anything and everything to make sure that they progress to the league stages!

Billy boy and Moyesy should be making their feelings known, by strong representation (perhaps legal). These tw-ts have cost us at least 5 million in revenue and our reputation is tarnished! Mal. True blue......but not holdings! (03/09/05)

Shocking Ref

I was just e-mailing about the shocking performance of a certain number 1 in the world refferee- Pierluigi Collina. In the match against Villarreal he was so biased towards the home team, Everton didn't stand a chance! The goal that never was, was a perfectly fine goal, Marcus Bent wasn't anywhere near the ball and if anything the Villarreal player was fowling Bent!! Everton deserve to go through- I think we were the better team in the two legs! Jo. (03/09/05)

Villarreal

The best Ref. in the world made his worst mistake ever (or was it a mistake) and we are out of the big one.No doubt the rest of the footy world (as well as Gobby Green) will look at the score and say "We told you so", but I was proud of my team and once again I will put my hand on my heart and say "Somebody just does not like us".
CEE 113. (03/09/05)

Proud

Just a small note to say I am the proudest blue nose you could ever meet. Even the so called "best ref in the world" couldn't be so corrupt you wouldn't believe. I have seen the best football, not to mention the bravest or even the determined football you could see in a long while. we are taking big bounds in small steps, and the pundits, commentators, press and even people who just completely hate us are standing up and taking note that we are a force to be recognised. it is finally nice to notice that instead of slagging us they are taking note of our performances and realising that we mean what we say. long are the days that we live in the shadow of liverpool f.c. Rock on Everton we will always love you. Wayne Phillips. (03/09/05)

It's down to the Red Shite again...

As a life long Everton fan I can just about remember last time we were in Europe, and to be denied in such a fashion as we were last night is a bitter pill to swallow. After the heat of yesterday’s game had died down I started to wonder just who is to blame for our absence from the Champions League drawer today.

Before the match kicked off I was pleasantly surprised to see Collina in charge. The best referee in the game, though I. Yet virtually from the off he was blowing against us and made some absolutely ridiculous decisions. Even if he had not made that decision his performance would still have been put under the microscope by a whole host of angry Everton fans. As it was he denied Big Dunc a perfectly legitimate goal and our boys the chance to take it to them for the last ten and maybe extra time (if we hadn’t won it by then already!)

So why did Collina make such a balls up of last night? The pundits claimed ‘he’s too old, maybe he should have retired last year’, and I have to say that was my initial reaction. However, a world class referee doesn’t just ‘lose it’ and start performing like Sunday league ref after one season. So why? Well, I believe UEFA had a job to do last night, and they put the one man they could trust in charge (after all, he’d already been given a one year extension to carry on working so you could say he owed them a favour…) UEFA were desperate to only have a maximum four teams from any one country in the final stages so unfortunately Everton were made to pay. And who do we have to thank for this highly unusual situation? Yes, our old friends the Red Shite. Because of their pathetically embarrassing summer long campaign of whining, pleading, cajoling, along with a certain amount of hollow bravado UEFA felt they had to accommodate them, and because they did, we were made to suffer.

However, conspiracy theories to one side, we are still in Europe, albeit not exactly where we wanted, and for that the lads deserve our praise. I believe Moyes’ boys will do us proud, just as they did last night, when for one fleeting moment I thought we’d done it, and could hear Champions League music resonating throughout Goodison. Keep up the good work bluekipper.com - Best Everton fan site on the net. Yours sincerely. Dan Breeze. (03/09/05)

Collina

What can we say about last night? I'm in shock! Even the presenter on ITV2 suggested Collina had lost it and after alluding that he had problems with his vision later said "Do we think he's losing his mind as well as his vision?" (Or something pretty close to that). Even Robbie Earle had the good grace to look like he had just bitten into a turd - his distaste was that obvious.

Now I don't like to get into the old "Everyone's against us" "It's a conspiracy" "We would be champions if only..." type of mentality because however much it feels that way sometimes, I just think it sounds like paranoid delusions - but after what happened last night I can believe anything. My mind is now wide open. I am willing to accept the possibilities that we ARE being visited by aliens, the world IS really being run by a secret society of lizards and Milan Baros COULD be a man! (No way - runs like a girl, hair like a girl, plays like a girl)

Hands up who else was pleased when they saw who was going to be refereeing? I've seen plenty of games where Collina has let a lot more go by in the interests of letting the game flow (mostly due to "the Football Italia" when the only footy you could see on normal TV was the Italian league). But those whinging players before the game "Ooh I had a bruise and some grass in my hair at the end of the 1st leg, it was sooo uncivilised!" must have got to Collina because as Trevor Steven pointed out on the night - he seemed to have his whistle at his lips for most of the game "looking for something to blow up at that was never really there."

So here's my gift to all those who feel the same as me - I've had my little vent. Now have yours - His website, including 'Contact' form: <http://www.pierluigicollina.it> P.S - It didn't actually make me feel any better about the whole thing but it stops me from kicking the dog. Toby. (30/08/05)

Fluke

They score a fluke, against the run of play! A cruel disallowed goal! Someone decides to nearly crush Osman in the box (perhaps he was trying to get "it" up him,if he had certain tendencies, if you know what I mean). All of which goes unseen! They score on the brake, when we have had to throw all the men forward, because of the disallowed goal! Whats that guys name? Crapoligna! DAVID LYDIATE. (31/08/05)

Just who is running the PR side of our club?

When Moyesy labeled us the peoples club it made me feel proud as well as being a real kick in the teeth to the red shite. Unfortunately I now feel that this label is a mill stone around the neck of our great club. This is not down to DM or the players; it is purely down to the people running the club and especially the public relations side of things.

I am gutted to read the amount of emails on this site regarding the cock ups on ticket allocation, massive price increases in certain parts of the ground, fans seats being moved to other parts of the ground without consultation, car parking places that affect disabled people being given to “corporate hospitality”. What makes my blood really boil is hearing a life long Evertonian like Alan Stubbs break his silence on why he did not sign a new contract. Don’t get me wrong I am not saying Stubbsy is 100% right here but it makes you wonder. Why do these so called “professional business people” continually drag the good name of our club into the gutter by mishandling these situations? For me Blue Bill proved with the Rooney transfer that he cannot handle the ruthless business acumen of his counterparts at ManUre. He needs to take a long hard look at the people he has appointed into responsible positions within our club and if they are not up for the job then replace them. Did these people actually come with any credentials? Did anyone bother to check their references with previous employers? Come on Bill the fans are doing their part to make us great again so can we count on you to do yours by supporting Moyesy on the pitch and living up to our “Peoples club” tag off it. SORT IT OUT. Kevin Cliffe. (30/08/05)

Spaniels ears

Just asking if Wayne Rooney paid for that slapper to go over to Spain and flash her Spaniels Ears all over the TV. Mind you it was after the watershed. Mr "The hills have eyes" Collina as now gone down in my estimation. Evo. (30/08/05)

Guttered

Hello bluekipper.com and Everton Fans around the world. I was that pissed of with the ITALIAN TWAT I decided to email him. Whether I get a response is a different matter but this is what I put to him.

Dear Mr Collina.

I have been an Evertonian for almost 30 years and whether you know much about us as a team we, like many other teams have had highs and a few lows in our time. I am passionate about my team but understand that referee's have a job to do and like any other human being makes mistakes from time to time. What makes special people in their respective field different is that they very rarely make mistakes hence why they are well thought off in their respective field. You were one of that elite ref's. I have watched many a world and Euro cup tournaments as well as plenty of Euro champions league matches even though Everton have not had any participation for a number of years.

A brief history of Everton FC. Had great teams in the early 70's, won the league then and again twice in the mid 80's. We were unable to have a go in the European Cup back then due to the Heysel disaster. A lot of players and manager left because we could not give them European football. The 90's became a torrid time for us - we almost got relegated several times during the late 90's early 2000's. Then came along David Moyes who has transformed the team. We have been waiting for a tilt at Europe for many years and so to my point.

I would have had no qualms at the result last night if they would have beaten us 3 or 4 nil. They were a very good football team who technically were better then us but why did you disallow our number Duncan Ferguson's goal. Surely you have seen the replay? Surely you know you have made a major blunder. It could have changed the whole face of the game. We were on the ascendancy. Yes we got a goal probably against the run of play but that is football. You said you gave the foul against Marcus Bent yet the replay clearly shows that it was his shirt being pulled. You then missed Leon Osman having his shirt pulled in the box 2 minutes later. Why did you miss these? For such an accomplished referee with all your experience it baffles me. Was there a directive from UEFA to make sure 5 English teams did not go through? I hate to be so cynical but you don't make mistakes like this. Why did you have it in for Everton? You gave us nothing. Every decision went to the home team.

You seemed to brandish our number 9 Duncan Ferguson as a bully from the start. You made you intentions clear from the start with him. I am objective about this and 50% of the challenges Ferguson made were fouls but you seemed to be so biased towards the Spanish side and it was almost like playing against 12 men.

I am extremely disappointed with your performance last night. We all have a bad day at the office, but why did it have to be against us. I understand there has to be winners and losers and as an Evertonian I know about losing a few games but you single handily changed the face of our season.

I am not expecting a reply Mr Collina but I would respect you more as a fan if you would to give an explanation. Regards a very disgruntled football fan and Evertonian. Neill Rutherford. (30/08/05)

Champions' League - They're 'avin a laugh !!!

Well, what can we say about the Villarreal game? The words "unbelievable, daylight robbery, cheats and crap referee" spring to mind. This must have been Pierluigi's swansong ! Surely he can't be allowed to officiate in Europe again. It saddens me to see probably the best referee of the last ten years make such a complete wazzock of himself in front of a t.v. audience of millions. Not the least to say that he's cost us £15 million minimum. The air was blue in this corner of North Staffordshire last night and I think that if he applied to officiate on the local Sunday leagues, he'd be turned down !!! I have never seen such a totally one-sided display of officialdom in my 29 years of watching football - he made up his mind we would not have the benefit of any 50/50 decision before the game and boy, did he make sure it stayed that way. I was surprised he didn't send Killer off, just to underline which side he was on. If I gave so many decisions in favour of a team on a Sunday, I'd be lynched !
Speaking of which, where did I put that number for the Causa Nostra bar in Palermo ! Arrivedirci, Pierluigi !!! Don Macchiano, Staffs. (30/08/05)

Fate!

Guys, your match report was spot on, the lads could do no more, Collina is/was the best ref in the world yet he had a mare of a game. Always said Nige is the best keeper in England. Thank God he ain't playing against us next week. Cymru am byth! Anyway, we can hold our heads high and lets get on with winning the Eufa Cup. WayneWales. (30/08/05)

Always a fix

So Uefa got what they wanted - only 4 English teams in the group stages of the Champions League. Conspiracy theory ? Well for those of you out there who laugh at people who come out with conspiracy theories wake up and smell the roses. You are naive. You are the ones who are doing the dirty work for the demons in this world who get away with whatever they want because by belittling conspiracy theories you do their job for them. Uefa is just like any other huge organisation and will do whatever it takes to ensure they get their own way. The Olympic committee, the UN, Enron, governments all over the world - they all try to get what they want and if that means bending or breaking laws / rules that is what they will do and morals and fair play do not come into it. And Uefa have just done the same. They waited and waited before making a decision hoping Liverpool would be knocked out of last years competition so that they did not have to make a ruling re 5 English clubs in the Champions League. Liverpool go on and win it with so much luck on their side it becomes scary. So what next ? Firstly do not seed Everton. Secondly ensure Everton draw the hardest opposition possible. Thirdly once they realise that there is a massive possibility Everton will knock Villarreal out ensure they put a referee, the so called best referee in the world, in charge of the second leg who is already in the pocket of Uefa and hey then add in that he is just coming up for retirement and will be getting a job within Uefa and there you go. Add in the Villarreal goalkeepers comments about thugs and give Collina the excuse he needs to award ridiculous freekicks against Everton left, right and centre and it all starts fitting into place.

And then the big one. Disallow a perfect goal when Everton are on the front foot and looking like the team who is going to win the game for absolutely nothing. Uefa can now come out and say it was a bad decision and so can Collina but the result will stand and the history books will not record any of the above.

Just the seeding alone was a disgrace after finishing 4th in the toughest league in the world. Totally shafted yet 3 teams from Norway are in the group stages as whipping boys with no supporters and no history yet Uefa want them in. Everton were magnificent and so were the supporters. Everton flags covered every spare space around the whole ground and maybe now Uefa will look back at this and realise they have just made a massive mistake and eliminated a team ( yes they were the architects ) that would have brought football, colour, excitement, humour and pride into the group stages. Or more realistically Uefa are now breathing a huge sigh of relief and patting Collina on the back confirming that his prominent position within Uefa is now assured.

I watched Sky Sports News from 8 am today and Everton's result was skimmed over and the interview David Moyes gave after Everton landed back at John Lennon was relegated so far down the line I had to leave for work at 8.30am without seeing it. If that had been Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea or Liverpool it would have been the top story and the disallowed goal shown over and over again. Match of the Day show our crest during their opening credits for a split second compared to the clubs mentioned above and then we have our own Liverpool Echo who…… say no more on them.

We now all know the score. Uefa and the G14 clubs want it all for themselves - end of. We have to force this issue, everyone of us because enough is enough. Let us all take ownership of this issue and make sure that we start using whatever power we personally have to talk to, write to, e-mail, telephone anyone and everyone who does not give our team fair and accurate coverage and that we a given a fair chance and that includes Europe and Domestic coverage. Newspapers, TV stations, TV companies, Radio, The FA, the Football League, Uefa, FIFA - everyone.

I urge every Evertonian to send an e-mail to all of the above plus make an official complaint via the Uefa web site regarding the disgraceful refereeing of Collina and the seeding ( no swearing ).

I have already e-mailed bbc.co.uk/sport - complaints - re Alan Green and I am going to write to Uefa re all of the above as soon as I send this into bluekipper.com

Thank you to all the Everton players, David Moyes and the staff and all Evertonians all over the world. We showed last night we can compete with the best in Europe and deserve to be there. The Uefa cup next and I believe we can go all the way in that competition and also that we can achieve 4th again this year.

A very disappointing, frustrating night but one which we can walk away from full of pride knowing that we nearly made it despite everything and everyone conspiring against us. We are moving in the right direction and it will take time but we have to make sure that all those who are standing behind the ' Premiership - Uefa - G14' door that we are systematically attacking and trying to force open are crushed underneath the weight and power of our club and its supporters as we knock the door off its hinges. Carry on spreading the word all over the world. Wear our Everton shirts everywhere we go especially around Europe. Keep the flags and banners being made and displayed all over the world. Last night was the final stab in the back of Everton FC and it's supporters and now it is time to really stand up and stretch and flex our muscles.

Shafted after Rotterdam. Shafted when they let English clubs back in Europe when we should have been the first English club invited back. Shafted by Freddy Shepherd, Paul Stretford and Alex Ferguson re Rooney. Everyone trying to keep that door firmly closed.

I for one am so sick of it and I now hope we have all woken up to the reality of what really transpired last night and the bigger picture and let's sort it out. Enough is finally enough. Keep the faith. We are on the up. Everyone knows it and are starting to get scared. Less money for them. Less trophies. Less prestige. Well tough. Everton FC are coming and no-one is going to get in our way no matter what they throw at us - any of us. We are Everton. The Peoples club. Nothing is stopping us now. NOTHING. Who's Got Woodsy's Flag?

Alright lads, need a favour. Need me Everton flag back. I was in the Everton end in Villarreal, and I threw me flag over to two lads down below to put it up and good enough they did, but after the game I could'nt find them because they kept us in for a bit. I hope the lads have still got it. To the lads who took our flag in Villarreal, we would love to have it back, so we can take it to Bucharest. Hope you brought it back home.

The flag says: "EVERTON FC, THE BADGE 1878, WOODSY'S ON TOUR, HUYTON." It's 8x5. Thanks, contact me on 07813876821 ask for Jimmy or contact Croxteth blues as I go on there coach every away game. Jimmy. (30/08/05)

Contact Sport

Can you please pass on my thanks to Mr. COLLINA for destroying our european Champions League dream in Villareal. Only he can say why he disallowed a perfectly good goal, nobody else knows why. It is so unfair to see defenders getting away with assaults in the penalty area and yet the English team gets penalised time and again. Goal aside, ARE YOU ALL FORGETTING THAT FOOTBALL IS A CONTACT SPORT??? It is for men, not fairies! Blowing too hard on your opponent is not cause for a foul. I always respected Mr. Collina as a quality referee but last night he had a bad night capped by one shocking decision that cost my team Champions league status and about £15m.
I think our manager Sir David Moyes deserves recognition for being so refrained. Regards, Matthew Slade. Everton Fan

Moaning at youse, not the club (for a change)

There is no doubt that you provide the best internet site for us blues, and for that we are all grateful. Let's face it, we all know that Everton as a club must be the worst in terms of public relations, but this is not a new revelation, it's been happening for fucking years, absolutely years!!

Queuing up for Vila-Real tickets I was in the queue (from 7.15am) with a load of older blues who were reminiscing about the queue for 1977 League cup final tickets! I myself can remember the 'Wembley wait' in 1995, fuckin' hell, it was even a debacle getting tickets for the ZDS final in '91!! Don't even get me started about, "only a few tickets remain for the away leg, and these must be purchased as part of the official Everton Travel package" - £334 I must be mad. No I'm not mad, just an Evertonian who wishes to watch the team he loves play - wherever it may be.

Everton have NEVER appreciated us hard working fans who work even harder to go and see the blues regularly, and I can't see them appreciating us in the near future either. Even now, they expect us to dig deep to purchase the Dr France collection, which is something they should have bought years ago.

Mr. Wyness has been found out as an amateur at best - it seems to me now that Trevor Birch took one look at the way the club is run, and that made him run 100 miles away. I just thank God for Davey Moyes, at least he can run the team, just a shame about the gobshites that run the club.

Now that's out of my system, what I wanted to rant about is your site. Is Wyness employed on your books aswell? Where are the match reports this season? Although I go the game, I still enjoy reading your take on the match as it is normally astute and insightful, as well as humorous. This season, either you piss the game away after drinking copious amounts in the Blue Kipper lounge, and are therefore unqualified to write a report, or you just couldn't be arsed. Either way, poor show.

Also, when you do manage to record information on your site, get someone who can spell, chiefly someone who can spot homophones. On Ferguson: "the big man just accepted the decisions without decent", do you mean dissent? I take that back about homophones, the two words don't even sound the same!

Or what about Yobo's "Butcheresk" display? Butcheresk?? It sounds like someone the shite would be easily drawn against in the European Cup! I think you mean "Butcheresque", which would be a made-up word anyway, but at least it makes sense!

And where are all the decent (or dissent) look-a-likes? Grav as Skeletor, and Betty Boothroyd as Kenwright were some of the funniest things on the web. The story about the lad up the pylon in '84 against Notts County was a scream as well.I don't want to slag you off because there are more deserving targets (like the dicks that run our club), and you do give the evertonians among us a good laugh, and a sterling service. But do us a favour and pull yer finger out.

You mightn't print this, but at least you'll read it. I bet Captain Haddock would print it just to have a go back! Great site lads (at the end of the day - haha!!), come on you blue boys. Dave Tommo. (30/08/05)

Conspiracy

Was it just me or did anyone else think last night's refereeing was more than a bit suspicious? It seems to me that at no point since the end of last season did UEFA want five English sides in the Champions league - and with
the help of Collina that's what they got! Who in their right mind would accuse the 'world best' referee of being a homer and disallowing a perfectly good goal?.......... no one! And that why he was put in charge to ensure five teams did not get through at the expense of the Blues! Paul. (30/08/05)
