Born To Be A Dancer

I can't believe Everton some times. It seems to be the same old song no money, no money, season after season. We sell out most of are home games, and are away support is second to none, so were has all the doe gone? I feel embarrassed when the likes of Pompey can fork out 12 million on players. I think our beloved club takes the piss out of you and me at times. I keep looking out in the paper to see who's injured because lets face it moyesy is not going to find us some one half decent and especially fully fit. Get it sorted Davey. You know the dance. Kilt or no kilt.
Terry from Southport. (16/01/06)

Team Mate

A brilliant opportunity for my beloved team to help themselves, with the opening of the january transfer window, but yet we again we struggle to get off the mark ( much like our strikers). Rumours I've heard so far...Anelka? you must be fu--in' joking, redshite reject! Petrov? not bad, first rumour, 1 half million, next day 2 million. So far four million, too expensive! Sean Davis? sold (and not to us)! Robbie Keane? Why would he want to leave Spurs? lee trundle? It's getting worse, nice skills but he's in the first division! We'll end up leaving it too late and buy any S--T thing available on the last day of the window. We've missed out on Niemi (excellent replacement of wright, and cheap), Davis(good passer), Sutton(not a bad thing).

Our squad:
Martyn - GOD! will never say a bad word about him
Wright - Couldn't catch a f--kin' cold, useless, arsenal laughing they got 3 million+
Hibbert - Young scouse, eager, willing excellent prospect
Naysmith - Who?
Yobo - Fast, strong, but makes bloody stupid mistakes
Kroldrop - How much did we pay?? f--kin' hell!
Pistone - Has not played, but we had a chance to get rid of him for nothing, then gave him another 2 year contract
Weir - Old and slow
Neville - Tries hard always chasing, seems to think he's Beckham though! YOU AIN'T PHIL, GET OVER IT!
Valente - F--k off!!!! he's won the champions league? your joking? your not? F--k off!
Arteta - Excellent, a player with skill and vision, not scared to have ball at feet, looks better wide right than in centre though
Osman - Unsung hero!
Van der Meyde - Yet to see him shine! we bought him injured and he seems to like it that way! COME ON ANDE!
Cahill - GOD! getting back to best after dodgy start!
Carsley - Hurry, back lad we need some midfield steel
Davies - I think tottenham can't believe their luck, 3 million+ we paid, Jesus!!
Kilbane - Tries hard but is shit! not a winger.. not much really, slow, should try to sell(or give)to strachan+keane
McFadden - Swap for Lovenkrands of Rangers! Winger that can't pass players or striker that can't score, what is it james?
Beattie - Bit expensive but getting fitter, better, and starting to score goals
Bent - Was excellent last season as lone man, could not score to save his own life. charlton interested? SELL SELL!
Vaughan - Injured... give a chance soon as fit please dave, who cares 'bout age
Ferguson - Old and never fit, could play only one game a season and still be unfit! BUT.. LEGEND! coaching role beckons

What about Gravesen (GOD, give him anything he wants), Green - Norwich(not too expensive), Schwartzer (out of contract), Saha-man u(loan), Cole - Chelsea(loan), Glenn Johnson - Chelsea(loan), Andy Reid - Spurs (bit fat but good player, cheap), Arca(left sided, can score), Danny Murphy (unhappy at charlton, swap bent+some cash) and maybe even Henry - Arsenal(slightly inconsistent but worth a gamble). COME ON 'BOARD' SHOW US THE MONEY! Newman. (16/01/06)

Na Na Na Na Naa

Of course Moyes and Bankrupt Bill thought about signing Owen + Anelka. You don't think they would tell fibs do you just to make us think they are doing something next week. They are going to think about Ronaldo, Ronaldinio, and the week after they may think about getting Rooney back, I wish I had some of those pills they are both on. Do they know the BBC are looking for scriptwriters for the new Jacanori programme starting soon. I wish they would wake up before we go to the Championship. We will lose a lot more money than what they won't shell out for players now. We will end up another Sheffield Wed, we will stay in the bottom leagues till we get bought out. Maybe by that sports company that was going to invest in us a couple of seasons ago. Must go another pig just flew past my window. Leslie Mckay. (16/01/06)

Everyday I Love You Less & Less

I had a posting on the site a few days ago about putting some things in perspective, but where the redshite are concerned, I think I've got a big problem about keeping any sort of perspective myself. Have I lost the plot here?. If you can be arsed, read on......

I've just listened to an interview on Talksport radio with The Echo's sports editor, John Thompson, about how the redshite should have got something in the New Years Honours list. Then some gobshite came on with the predictable "There's a conspiracy (big word for him, well done son) against Liverpool, la, why did Man U get all dem honours.. blah..blah.. shite... blah." I'm just completely sick of listening to some of those twisted gobshites bellyaching about how badly they're treated (yeah, sure!) as well as the media falling over themselves to praise the shite.

Conspiracy? Fuck me, do these emptyheads not turn the telly on or buy a paper? Could the media BE any more fawning over them? The bastards have just got to turn up and the papers are scrambling round to hit us with a new 'record' of theirs - "If Liverpool don't concede today, that'll set a club record for clean sheets when only 2 players are wearing gloves." And the Echo? More redshite propaganda than their matchday programme. Remember how the Echo 'apologised' on behalf of the city to the Juve fans last season? The city! What the fuck did WE have to apologise for? But this is the Red Echo, after all. John Thompson went on to say that Liverpool just get on with things, it's not their way to complain. Yeah, right! So they didn't moan their way back into the European Cup against the rules, they didn't moan and feel sorry for themselves when the Juve fans turned their backs on them last season, and now Rick Parry hasn't moaned about them not getting honours? What a bunch of hypocrites they all are.

If there was a gong for hypocrisy, then give it to them all. But maybe I'm being too harsh here. Maybe the fans should get the freedom of their home city - Oslo, Helsinki, Harlow, Cheltenham and the rest of the places the twats come from. If you're still in any doubt, have a look at the picture "Carling don't make gobshites..." on the site. It sums them up better than a million words ever could. And thank God every day for being born a Blue. COME ON YOU BLUES. Kevin Latham. (16/01/06)

Modern Way

Ok so we haven't made the big money signing we have been linked with, no Owen, no Kuyt, no Thomert etc. but who has actually signed anyone in the premiership, looking at the SkySports website it says that the following clubs haven't signed a new player: Arse, Villa, Rovers, Charlton, Us, Boro, Newcastle, Sunderland, Spurs, West Brom. So half the premiership. Nobody wants to lose players in January, this makes it harder to sign players, i agree that we need a pacy striker, who can chip in with the goals, but who is this mystery striker? Pichlmann? who, Anelka? selfish, Nugent? 6 goals in 19, Thorvaldsson? a winger,Trundle? untested. How about Cardiff striker Cameron Jerome, he's young, quick, skillful, joint top championship goalscorer with 12 goals.

What is happening with Vaughan, when fit, will he be the answer to our scoring problem? Give Moyes a break, its not just him struggling, forget the Portsmouth signings and the redshite. And try counting how many strikers have been signed by Premiership teams, I count 1, an old Celtic reject, called Sutton, so check the facts before shouting off. Si Birkett. (16/01/06)

I Predict A Riot

I am sick and tired of all these false dawns at our beloved club.... Why the hell did'nt we build on a successful season last time around. Any other club with ambition would have done so! We are led to believe that Moyes has no money now so lets ask the question to Wyness and Kenwright if this club has financially turned the corner give the manager some money in january or risk championship football for 06/07 and maybe longer. WE NEED AT LEAST 5 QUALITY PLAYERS NOW!! Phill capo. Southport blue nose. (16/01/06)

Time Honoured Tradition

Dan, from Wigan at last someone who speaks some sense! You have been hiding your light under a bushel my BLUE friend. If more sense has been spouted on any of these boards over the last few years then I will come to work on Monday in a RedSh**te Shirt proclaiming my love for the blues to be over!! NEVER! NEVER! NEVER! Patience is a virtue that boards, fans and sometimes even the players themselves forget, I fully concur
(posh words I know!!) with the point made re Ferguson, Allardyce and Curbishley they were all given time to do THE JOB! Moyes must be backed
all the way, otherwise where do we go? A solid foundation is what will make the club great again and while the board do leave a lot to be
desired (to say the least!!) Moyes is OUR foundation and someone out there is watching silently, waiting for the right moment to put some
much needed cash into the BLUES, it may not be massive (Abromovich Style) but it will come and when the it finally dawns on Blue Bill that he has done his best but his best is not "Nil Satis Nisi Optimum" he will relinquish control to someone he knows to be right for the BLUES.

Meanwhile we must, as always support our team, that is what we are bred to do, My Grandad, Dad, Me and my 15 Month old Son were born to be BLUE and I for one am proud to say it and it felt great to put my little boys first Everton Shirt on him, I am sure me ol Granddad was looking down on us. I have been emotionally involved in supporting the BLUES since my conception, my Mum was at Wembley in 66 for the great 3-2, I was born 6 months later!! I have a right to express an opinion as do we all but I have a duty to support and support I will do as long as there is a hole in my head. Well said Dan and the many others on here who never forget our birthright. ONCE A BLUE ALWAYS A BLUE. God love em!!!!
Gary Parkins. (16/01/06)

Oh My God

Me and my husband are True Blues and I almost choked on my coffee this morning. A Swedish newspaper are telling that ManU offered Real 3.5 million Eur for Gravesen. Please tell us this is just another joke. BR/Henrik & Linda. (16/01/06)

WHAT IS GOING ON?

Every morning I have looked at Ceefax, Teletext. EFC Web Site. NOTHING TO REPORT The daily Post is reporting every day on who the shite are signing whilst we get Carsley + Naysmith make comeback at Haig Avenue. Whilst I have nothing against these two it is hardly earth shattering news. Now this morning I look at the EFC Official Web Site and it is telling us "ALL THE LATEST TRANSFER NEWS" how "Harry" is pleased to have signed the 3 spurs players. "ER haven't we been after Sean Davis? What went wrong there then? I couldn't give a Monkeys who everyone else is signing I want some movement from EFC or is the £1K per annum my son and I spend on our season tickets just an inconvenience to EFC? Would they rather we didn't put them to the bother of having to take the cheque to the bank?

I have been a true blue since I started going as a kid in the early 60's, and in all that time I have never left before the final whistle. Against Bolton I walked after their 2nd, and because of escalator faults I was just at the exit gate when they scored their 4th. There has been precious little happened since to convince me that Bill, Moyesy and Bully really give a toss. If they don't then why should I? Keith C. (16/01/06)

Rest? What For?

Dan, Wigan. (11/01/06). Get a life mate, I worked 60 hours a week for what seemed like a hundred years, my boss never ever said to me "Mike your earning 30K a week, you need a rest". Whenever does a goalkeeper need a rest. Cuckoo land mate your living there.
Mike Kendrick. (14/01/06)

Striker?

What is happening? We have a team that leak goals and our problems are going to be solved by a striker,,,I don't think so.
Lets get a squad who will keep blank sheets, who will not concede four goals at a time and then maybe the confidence to go forward and score will return. C.O.Y.B. AJH. (14/01/06)

Bent - Pima Donna

Some good points Dan from Wigan but for the rest of us who have traveled home and away this year and were at Millwall then had we started with our strongest team we could and would have been 2 nil up at half time and then could have taken off the players for a rest. This is because Millwall were crap. We started to play a bit better once Beattie and Ferguson came on then really well once Ozzy came on and we moved Arteta into the middle next to Cahill. For 10 mins once the 2 new strikers came on we pushed Cahill out right to accommodate Arteta and Neville in the middle. As said once we had Cahill and Arteta in the middle and the main men up front we battered them with Arteta running the game. All who were there know. Just a quick note re Bent – never heard in 30 years an Everton player booed off the way he was and I very much joined in. Partly it was because of his ball control etc etc but mainly his attitude. If the ball was passed a millimetre from where he wanted it he started shouting and moaning at his team mates. This went on all first half. A total prima donna. Paulie, Disciple of the Moyesiah. (14/01/06)

Transfers....my arse

Bottom 3: Sunderland (already down and gone), Birmingham and Portsmouth. Transfers by bottom clubs: Sean Davis to Pompey (plus two other makeweights), Benjani to Pompey, Olisadebe to Pompey and 'more on the way'. Sutton to Brum Now look at Everton, sitting 6 points above the drop: Transfers in - NONE

Why didn't we look at Sean Davis again? Benjani and Olisadebe are useful players. All would have fallen within our(pitiful price) range. Instead
we're fed lies and half-truths about Thromset, Anelka (how I pissed myself laughing at that one), Van Der Vaart (where are they now file) Earnshaw (a good buy) and others. At least the Mancs have said they are signing no more players so we may still have a chance at Tommy coming home - but I wouldn't bet on it.
Why no Matt Jansen? Before his injury he was a decent player and maybe just needs games and confidence to get back to where he was.

Now Ferrari wants to do the off is the latest story. Another decent player goes away from us. If Big Joe has a good African Nations Cup then that could be another player on his way? Good to see Lee Carsley on the mend - hurry back we need you!! Bill Davies. (14/01/06)

Frustration

It looks like unless we can purchase a regular goal scorer we could be in the sh1t!! Portsmouth are purchasing for survival, and with ‘arry might do ok, so who else is with us the ‘ relegation fight’ Sunderland- favourites to go down, Birmingham- very possible, Portsmouth- trying to do something about it, west brom- good chance of relegation, Middlesbrough- think they will avoid the drop, Fulham – really hope they go down.

The really annoying thing is at the moment is I think Moyes is the man for the job, if he was to go who would replace him? Other potential candidates are also young and ‘inexperienced or wont leave the club they are at! I just think the board need to give him a decent amount of cash and go for it….then sometimes I do think we have had a problem attracting players even in the summer with the chance to play in Europe players weren’t too keen …why????

It wasn’t so long ago that EFC were saying that there would be money available to spend, they were just not saying how much. I really do hope some decent purchases are mad in the transfer window; we have a thread bear squad and it needs bulking up especially with a few decent buys and a few squad players.

Note to existing players… pull you overpaid fingers out of your arses and show you actually care. Phil. Manchester. (14/01/06)

Don't Worry, Be Happy

Don’t panic people! I have no doubt that Moyes is going to spend it up this month, maybe up to ten million. He just publicly denied transfer activity because he got his hands badly burnt in the summer when news of our impending signings was heard in outer Mongolia and targets were snatched away. Lets all remember we are only one win away from the top half of the table and anything remains possible this season if we start scoring goals – although Le Sulk will need a serious attitude adjustment if he’s going to fit in with our team. Phil A. (14/01/06)

Transfer Woe

Hi Blue-Kips. Well, it has happened again hasn’t it? EFC comes out saying if Real sells Gravesen that EFC will get first bite. Is it just me or is it EFC or Sir Alex starting to talk some shit. Why hasn’t EFC been mentioned in this………? Oh I forgot we don’t need players…….we haven’t got money……..his wages are too high…….we only want players who will improve our squad etc etc!!!! Maybe Players like Valente, Maybe players like Kloudrup. Has this player on trial signed…..if he was such a great player why the need for a trial? I absolutely love the club but we need better negotiators. Niemi has Joined Fulham, Schwarzer is in talks with Pompey and we are talking about TOLDO!!!!!! If these keepers don’t want to come what are the chances Toldo will come...ZERO. Frustrated but lets look forward to a great 2006 where the boys can win a few on the roll and maybe a top 10. Cheers. Aussie Blue, Steve. (14/01/06)

Six Pointer

We are going into a real "6 pointer " on saturday at Portsmouth. However if we can win the game it could really shoot us up the table we are only 11 points off of a uefa cup spot. We need a gritty hard battling team on saturday and i do believe if we can get a win that will give us the confidence to Play Arsenal,Wigan, and Shiteeee We have been robbed in the last games against these teams and owe them all a good pasting. However it IS possible we already proved last year what the same set of players can do so start to believe it and the players will start to believe it as well. UEFA CUP WE'RE AVIN A LAF !!!!! c.o.y.b. Sean Whelan. (14/01/06)

Where's The Money Gone?

I'd like to ask Moyes & Kenwright if there was money in the summer where has it evaporated to in 6 months (is Peter Johnson secretly back at the club bleeding it). Why don't we invest in some talent for the future (Robert Green, Dean Ashton, Theo Walcott who has frightening pace) instead of last minute buys who are past their sell by date! Typical old Everton just let everybody else sign players they want to sign and we feed off the scraps. Daniel Agger should have been a done deal in August instead we just let 'The S***e' sign him 5 months later! Bring Back Gravesen & wake up and take this club forward the board! Great side lads. Kurt in Widnes. (14/01/06)

Another Wasted Transfer Window

Here we go again - all the other clubs have identified their targets and had pre transfer window chats with their agents and its all sorted. Everton will wait for 2 days to go before the deadline and "miss out again" I think were all getting sick of the same old shit. Barry. (12/01/06)

Why Buy?

Everton will probably start winning one nil again if we don't buy any new players, that's what seems to happen with moyes squads.
When there is no expectation level on the team he gets the best out of what he's got. That's what he did at Preston for years. They never won anything but were always thereabouts. Nick Armstrong. (12/01/06)

Don't Waste Money

Chris Sutton is garbage, Rob Earnshaw can't get in the West Brom Side, and Matt Jansen hasn't played football for 2 years and isn't good enough to get in the Blackburn side ahead of Paul Dickov!! Maybe that suggests that we made what we thought were fair offers for these players (and are considering what a fair offer would be for Jansen), and they were refused so we said "pah! forget you!" in a Scottish accent. Hey Robbie Fowler is available. He was good once. Let's spend loads of money on him. Gary O'Brien. (12/01/06)

No Incoming Transfers

Yesterday I put my opinions /views on here after all this is what the site is for ? Halifax (dan wigan) make your fucking mind up ??? to what !!! I live in Halifax. Yes part of the Wakfield branch. Yes born a blue in Garston exiled to Halifax. So what do I make my mind up to ??? I never slagged the players off and I like Beattie. I have faith in him. What I was saying is we're supposed to have money for Owen and Kuyt. Where is it now ? As I said even Moyesy said that at a.g.m. we need a striker. I know a 20 goal a season striker is hard to find but other clubs seem to find them. As for Sutton he would have given us another option if it's true Moyes hasn't a lot of money, especially if Dunc is struggling don't you think short term? At the end of the day we are all blue and want the best for the club. Just venting our frustration (C>O>Y>B) John. Halifax. (Wakfield blue) (12/01/06)

Moyes etc. HA HA HA

Someone go and tell MOYES, WYNESS, KENWRIGHT, MCFADDEN, BENT, WEIR, KILBANE and my missus to FUCK OFF. I just can't be arsed anymore. Dean. (12/01/06)

Van Der Vaart

Good evening Kipper's. Just don't get worked up about Van Der Vaart. First of all he's injured at Hamburg, secondly the dutch press have built him up as the Dutch "Beckham". For example his wedding was broadcast here live with 5 million viewer's. His wife is constantly doing the "Footballers Wife" thing. Constantly on the T.V., in the press and then Van Der Vaart plays the stooge. It's no wonder the fella hasn't lived up to his promise!!! Terry R ex Netherton. (12/01/06)

Kit Again

To Dan "Nobody cares which kit you bought your son for Christmas! Did it take you all day to think of that comment? " ** no it took a week. well months really - just got round to writing it! that wasn't the point. The point was the grey strip is disgusting, looks like loads of other teams second kits, and has fuck all to do with efc - where the yellow one looks good and has some efc history in it too... yet have they worn it even once this season? just don't understand that's all....

"Unless you have something that may interest somebody don’t bother!" ** fair point. i'll get me coat..... :-) i agreed with most of the rest of your post fwiw....Tim. (12/01/06)

Media Meoffs

I just typed a big long email, but then deleted it. I love EVERTON. Come on Moyes get your players in order and lets get back to the top of the table. Up the toffees. As for the media bullshit I read on sunday and monday morning saying we were lucky to get a draw at Millwall, what a load of shite. As soon as Biffa, Dunc, Ozzie come on we battered them. It should have been about 5-1 to us. I hate the media meoffs. They know as much as a kopite(nothing). Up the Toffees. N.R. (12/01/06)

New Signings

TO BILL AND DAVIE. HERE'S AN IDEA FOR YOU. WHY DON'T YOU BOTH KEEP YOUR FUCKING GOBS SHUT UNTIL THE PLAYER HAS ACTUALLY SIGNED FOR US AND IS HAVING HIS PHOTO TAKEN IN THE PARK END STAND BEFORE LETTING ALL AND SUNDRY KNOW WHO YOU ARE THINKING OF SIGNING? THIS WAY WE (SUPPORTERS) DON'T HAVE TO KEEP GOING THROUGH THE MILL WHEN THEY SIGN FOR SOMEBODY ELSE. I WOULD MUCH RATHER US NOT KNOW OF OUR TARGETS INSTEAD OF PICKING UP THE MORNING NEWSPAPERS AND SEEING THEM IN A FUCKING NEWCASTLE STRIP!! STEVE. PARKEND. (12/01/06)

WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE

This email is for John Lea and Glenn from Sydney. Everton have been a very poor side since January 2005, 12 months later we have got worse! we made the champions league by the skin of our teeth mainly down to the fact that Bolton and Liverpool messed up! since Gravesen left we have not been the same side. I don't know who is to blame for this decline but it's not Evertonians. We don't buy rubbish players. I think you'll find that Moyes does. The buck has to stop somewhere, but it has nothing to do with the support they get from us. We go week in week out and I think that we have EVERY RIGHT TO MOAN! We need a striker this month but the ginger one thinks we don't !!! by saying that I think he's just signed his own P45. Jennie. (12/01/06)
