Lack Of Ambition

I for one am extremely pissed off over the lack of ambition from David Moyes and Evertons board of directors. My reason being is that we started the season I Europe; we had the chance to take this opportunity and progress from there and to establish ourselves as a top club again. What happens, we go and fuck it up! Why? Because we have the wrong people running the club we fork out so much money to go and watch week in, week out.

I am so fucked off at not even making one signing in the transfer window so far when it has been pretty clear that we need more players in the squad. Then we go and sell two players! Fair enough I wanted Bent to take his lazy arse off somewhere else but I honestly thought we would bring new players in. Then the news today that PK is on his way as he was not good enough for the premiership, didn’t we pay £5m for him? Did Moyes even watch him before we signed him??

So now if weir is out injured, we have ONE fucking centre half fit???? Ferrari – who also wants off! So what the fuck is going on?? We have one fit striker! Come on moyesey get your fucking act together.

I know we have won a few games lately but come on; most teams will beat Charlton, Pompey and Millwall anyway. This has only papered over the large cracks. We can forget about another “European tour” for next season as we are not good enough, we have an inept manager who hasn’t got a fucking clue in transfer dealings. Everyone knows we need a striker, even moyes has said so himself, why haven’t we gone and bought one?

I cant be arsed going on anymore……….. I think moyes should go, along with Kenwright and co.

I am dreading arsenal Saturday, I will still be there though, ploughing my hard earned cash behind the bar and buying programmes etc, along with 35,000 other blues, so where is the money going “blue bill”? Ron, Tru blue! (23/01/06)

More Views

Today I read a view of our players and it looked like the guy/gal who wrote it hadnt been a game for years... Here is a more honest assesment. Our squad:
Martyn - Too old now, yet still makes vital saves but have seen cricial errors slipping in.
Wright - Looks like the rich kid who plays footy cos his dad said he could. Never good enought to play for us.
Hibbert - Young scouse, eager, couldn't cross a line never mind a ball, unless he is clearing a ball of the line or last minute slide tackle is useless.
Naysmith - Plays great for Scotland, don't think has ever turned up for Everton.
Yobo - Fast, strong, hard as hell but poor concentration.
Kroldrop - Give the lad a chance, played once and the whole team got stuffed, lets see how he does (IF he stays).
Pistone - Had a period of 10 games last term when he was solid, he is kind of player, who if playing in a good team looks ok.
Weir - Old and slow, couldn't lead a line of kids to the sweet shop.
Neville - Born leader, passionate and a guy who can pass the ball well. He, Van der Meyde and Arteta class above.
Valente - Poor at start, gets better every game, and its nice to have a full back who is comfortable with the ball and can pass.
Arteta - Excellent, a player with skill and vision, not scared to have ball at feet, wasted out wide, had a poor derby but the kid is pure class
Osman - good feet, eye for goal, trier, but totally light weight and looks as though a strong wind could finish him off.
Van der Meyde - even though clearly overweight and unfit still looked about 3 seconds faster than every blue player bar arteta and neville in terms of reading the game, can pay with both feet and cross well, that'll do me.
Cahill - but of season last season, tries to be hard man, its not him, should just play his game.
Carsley - underrated until last season, no one there will ever forget HIS derby
Davies - played ok in derby, apart from that, shockingly poor, got him when past his best
Kilbane - when runs at people can be dangerous, feel he could have suffered due to moyes tactics
McFadden - flashes of brilliance all too rare, crap player..but effort is there and could still play part against millwall for example
Beattie - never doubted him, has changed his game and now looks like a player who can laed the blues forward for years to come, passionate,
hardworking, scores hard goals, tap ins not a chance
Bent - moaner, lack of effort etc etc, thanks for all the work last season but do one
Vaughan - Injured... give a chance soon as fit please dave, who cares 'bout age
Ferguson - Old and never fit, yet still better than any player brought in, imperial in the air, great distribution, the mnost inspirational member of
the team,
Ferrari - looked quality against charlton and pompey, could be quality with yobo, only on loan get this sorted.

Moyes - I am sorry to all moyes fans but he is tactically inept, he got it right once this eseaason when he changed formation aaginst manure,
but even then we had scored and let one in, moyes settles for that after 11 minutes, i wish he'd grow a pair, and how often have everton just needed duncan or someone on, and has been stripped ready to come on, and moyes inexplicably waitsd for 15minutes until we are a goal down or worse and then tells them to go and win the game, has got lucky witha few subtitues last few years, i dont want to see him go, but in fairness , i think he would have gone earlier this season had anyone half decent been available as a replacement
and so you know am not some stupid bitter fan I am season ticket holder, adn put two bets on when Everton where down there. 28-1 on Everton in top ten at end of season £10. 37-1 Everton 7th or higher £10. Michael Connolly. (18/01/06)

Duncan's last season

I and everyone i know are gutted to here that duncan is considering his future at everton. For me duncan has the potential to become the next everton manager, he has got passion for the club and he were's his shirt with pride. If stuart Pearce can do it at city then duncan can be everton's man. Duncan always get the fans geared so let him in the back room staff to get the player motivated god knows they need it. M. Harris. (18/01/06)

Moyes mistakes

This time last year Tommy wanted to fuck off, so what did mugsie do, let him go for £2million Knowing that it would have taken 5 times that to replace him. What he should have done was pay him £50k a week till the end of the season then give him Kilbane's and Naysmith's salaries. Next we needed a striker so he wastes £6million on Beattie who might have a few good games up to the world cup then after that you will be lucky to get any joy out of him when he could have got Dean Ashton for a third of the price and who's value has at least trebled. He then buys Davies who would be a rip off at one tenth of the price and a centre half for £5million who no fucker has seen. Then he buys a left back or two, so when someone plans a deal they throw Moyes name into the hat and think what a fucking MUG he will pay top dollar for our shite and a sell us his best players for fuck all. When was the last time MUGSIE checked on any young players coming through the books and who advises him should be what Kenwright is asking now if he really is the chairman running our club, as our season of despair rolls on. Chris Simpson. (18/01/06)

Thanks Marcus

I would like to say my thanks to Marcus for his services to the club, and wish him all the best with Charlton. We got a good profit on him hopefully now the extra bit of cash can go some way towards another forward. Amanda Gill. (18/01/06)

Magic Man

Whilst surfing the net on Tuesday I sat there thinking: WHO IS THE GREATEST MAGICIAN EVER? I know who your thinking:
Houdini? David Copperfield? David Blaine? Paul Daniels? But no. According to Marcus Bent's latest statement: "I can bring goals and am pacy, strong and good in air.” It's him. I mean to change from a donkey who couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat into a threat to defenses all over the world he must be a FUCKIN' banging illusionist!!!!!!!!!! R
obert Wilkinson. (18/01/06)

Bent

I couldn't help but cry out in delight when Bent was sold to Charlton cos I feel he is one big lazy bastard and the money we made was even better. But I nearly died laughin when I was reading his comments about his qualities and what he could offer Charlton until he finds club number 10 and he loses his starting place at Charlton.

This is from Skysports News by the way so you know this is all fact...Bent says: "I can bring goals and am pacey, strong and good in the air". I've heard of bullshit but Benty has proved he IS it!!!!!!! Let's hope Moyes finds a half decent striker with more commitment and less attitude. Eddie. (18/01/06)

Welcome Home Rick

Hey I am Jemma Ross. I am 12 years old. I love Everton and I love this website. My Step-Dad, Rick Fleming is away with work in Bosnia he is there for 6 months. But he is coming home soon on R+R and I know that as soon as he gets back he will look on your website. So please could you show this welcome home message for him. He loves Everton. So please show this message to let him know how much we have missed him.
Thanks Love. True Blue Jem xxx. (18/01/06)

Beattie and Cahill

Could you ask your spy what's happening between Cahill and Beattie, as when Beattie was subbed yesterday, he turned to Cahill and called him a fucking prick. Osman then pulled Cahill away. Anyone else notice that incident? Does worry me things like that. All is not well between these two by the looks of it. Graham Broadfoot. (18/01/06)

A Word of Thanks

Just a brief note to say thank you for a great website. I'm one of the many Evertonians who find themselves living overseas (in my case, Peru, then Fiji and now New Zealand) but who still have a heartfelt connection to my home town and the team I grew up supporting.

I last saw Everton play in 1989 when I flew from Lima to London for the FA Cup Final. A disastrous result (I haven't been back to England since) but it was still a big day out for me. Your website is the next best thing to being there. I particularly enjoy the photos of the players from the 60s, 70s and 80s at the annual dinner you host. And that Holy Trinity photo is priceless. Keep up the great work. It is much appreciated. Neil Johnson. (18/01/06)

Fair crack of the whip

I wanted to wait until we got back to winning ways before I had a rant at the officials we've had to endure this season. This way I can't be accused of making excuses for us getting beat as a result of poor decisions made by the cretin that blows the whistle.

As early in the season as the European games we've been made to suffer as a result of poor refereeing (see Collina v Ferguson). This trend has continued throughout the season (see penalty given for tackle outside the area v WBA, handball prior to first goal v Villa). I know we can't blame the officials for all our woes this season, but they haven't helped at all.

During the game at Portsmouth yesterday the ref was blowing continuously for fouls against us without producing any yellow cards. As soon as one of our lads puts a foot in, yes you've guessed it, the idiot puts his hand in his pocket.

Am I asking too much for a fair crack of the whip, or is there a hidden agenda? I'm starting to get really pissed off the more I think about the times when we've had so called 'star' players committing blatant and savage attacks on our players (see Gerrard on Naysmith at Analfield in the derby a couple of seasons ago, Redknapp on Tim for Spurs at our place a couple of seasons back and more recently shithouse Shearer's elbow on Davey Weir. Funny thing is the ref appears to pat them all on the arse and tell them not to do it again.

Is it just me? To finish off, Good Luck for the Millwall game!! COYB. Eddieparkend. (18/01/06)

A BIG THANK YOU

Following the great win at pompey and the disappointment of a photographer who blocked my sons view the entire second half. I wish to thank two people

1. The Evertonian behind me in row B who after the final whistle told the photographer what a total asshole he was and nearly got the prick arrested What this dickhead didn't realise is that you don't mess with Evertonians away from home and he got a right earful he was very rude to me and even Leon Osman in the second half noticed that we were having a run in with this fella the whole second half so thank you to the fella who had a go in support and all the evertonians who bombarded the stewards who got violent.

2. LEON OSMAN. What can I say he walked over after the final whistle and looked out for my son took his shirt off and pointed a finger at him as if to say: "This ones for you lad." We were both close to tears It has renewed my faith that this club really is the best in the land Thank you. Sean Whelan. (18/01/06)

Der Ball ist Rund: Everton in Europe

The Merseyside book publisher Countyvise has recently sent its January newsletter to retailers in the region; this includes its Top Ten of December shop sales of books it has printed. No.2 in its charts is Liverpool FC's 40 Greatest European Nights. It was beaten to the No.1 spot by Der Ball ist Rund, Everton in Europe 1962-2005 and with no need for a penalty shoot-out.

I will be selling the book outside the church before forthcoming home games. If you can give all of that a mention, great. Cheers, Mike Owen. (17/01/06)

the shite

Well said that man!! (Kevin Latham) However, you forgot to say how unlucky those red twats are to only get ONE of the opposition sent off every week. Have they played eleven men in a game yet? Steve. Parkend. (17/01/06)

Keep The Lid On

Just read this analysis of our squad!!! This is the problem with some of my fellow blues, they just don't know how to get behind our team and just because he might go the match doesn't mean he's an expert, because there are a hell of people who go the match that haven't got a clue about
footy!!! e.g. Neville thinks he's Beckham, in what fuckin way mate? I don't see him taking any free kicks! As for give Gravesen what he wants I bet he wasn't sayin this two seasons ago when tommy was getting slated! We have money. Maybe Moyes wants to keep a lid on things because last time he said he had money! Prices were being bumped up!!! Lets hope we get a goalscorer and pacey one. Please Davey! true blue. James Johnson. (17/01/06)

FA Cup Tickets

Here we are a day before an FA cup replay, our club is hard up, it need's all the money we can afford to give it ,so they reduce the price of tickets to try and get a full house, sounds great up to now, there will be no problem getting a ticket as bully said he's learned by his mistakes,so I travel from Widnes only to find the box office shuts at 4.30 pm not as you would think 6.00 pm and find them turning people away, you would use a bit of common sense the day before the game, are we that hard up we can't afford to pay a bit of over time for the staff.
Frustrated Blue. Phil mcdonald. (17/01/06)

Rebuild

Congratulations to the team who ground out as a result at Portsmouth and those involved in our recent run of form, that should enable us to stay in the Premier League this year, and see out the season with the bulk of our current squad. With Benty going to the 'addicks' and Ferguson either moving or retiring, its a start of a much needed clear out! Weir (too old), Carsley(not good enough), Martyn(too old), Wright(not good enough), Li Tie(not good enough), Naysmith(not good enough) should start our clear out!

Eagles(Manure), Brian Stock(Preston) and Idiakez(Derby) would be good enough signings at reasonable prices, to bolster our squad in the summer, along with two quality strikers and another quality centre back to replace Ferrari(who's home sick). Having learned the lessons of 4th place, and a failed Euro campaign we still have a Golden Opportunity to push on and approach next season, but much depends on kenwright and Wyness getting their finger out, and getting investment in, if they can't then step aside and give someone else a chance. This club HAS to progress...........we are getting left behind by the Red shite, who for some reason have a money tree in Benny Hills garden, and have stolen Sissypants and Dagger from us! Get scouting and get financial backers in and lets bring back the good times with some consistency and not just a blip every 7 years! Mal(Trueblue)but not holdings!
(17/01/06)

Shhh!

As most people know January is a risky time to buy players especially for a club like ours, there isn't much quality around for the funds we (probably?) have available. So for Moyes to take his time and avoid the garbage that's going round ie- Sutton who is over the hill & do we really need another poor mans Dunc? Also to make £2mill on a player that was becoming more and more frustrating and refused to score for me is very clever. I also should add that I agree that if Moyes is doing business that he should keep it low profile as there are more moles in football than Bootle golf course, we have lost a lot of other potential players this way. The only thing that most fans would say is that doing business quietly is good as long as business is being done. C'mon you Blues. Lloydey. (17/01/06)

Sing Yer Hearts Out For The Lads

Millwall have sold 4822 tickets and have arranged special trains to get here. Season ticket holders in the Bullens Road next to the usual away allocation seats have got to move their seats so that they can have more space. This shower are coming up on a mission – to take the piss in and out of the ground. We have tickets available until 6 pm Wednesday. Chelsea next round await. Lets show this lot what coming to Everton is all about. And during the game let us have the type of support from the Park End that we get at away matches. Right now going away is more enjoyable than having my season ticket in the Park End as away we all stick together and take over. Home we sit in silence and let away fans take the piss. Plus Millwall have been giving it loads about how quiet Premiership clubs fans are after witnessing all of us at their place struck dumb by Marcus Bent starting against Millwall. I am looking forward to this game a lot. But I really hope that we take the Park End back 20/30 years and stand and sing tall throughout the match. Add into this the Gwladys Street and the rest if the ground and Goodison will rock, sending them all back down South with the right impression of what coming to Goodison and playing Everton is all about. The team plus an extra man in the stands. Come on let’s have it. Wednesday night football in the cup – time to put up or shut up. We are Everton FC – BEST FANS IN THE LAND. The Park End, The Park End. ---- Just heard Marcus Bent sold to Charlton – thank God. Good profit though and for £450,000 we did get a good season out of him. Paulie, Disciple of the Moyesiah. (17/01/06)

Marcus Bent

£2.5 million? Don't sign their scouts then! (OK I know he'll score at Goodison for them, which is more than he's done for us this year). Peter Hall. (17/01/06)

Signings

Does Dan, Wigan. (11/01/06) remember how many games we won from January last season? He said Moyes made us great last season, Norwich won more than us from January and went down! we only finished 4th because of the start we made and the rest of the league was and still is shit! We were just a bit better and Gravesen was having the season of his life! by the way does anyone remember the Gravesen of the previous 4 years????? You do??? So why the fuck do you want him back on £80,000 a week, pure and simple Moyes ain't good enough. Look at his signings with the exception of 3 they have all been duds. He has blown over £45 million in his time here and only £10 million is money well spent! Kroldrup played one game and is now set to join some fuckin German team who I am not even gonna bother spell! Dan should spend less time slagging people off for having their point of view on here and more in seeing the big picture! WE ARE FUCKIN AWFUL!!!! We need bodies!!!! Sean Davies gone to pompey!!! Anti Niemi gone to Fulham. The list goes on. The players we missing out on is horrendous! Even no loans or freebies till end of season! Get shut of the prick now before it's to late, and as for who do we get! Leave that to the fuckin board it's their job to worry about that! I think he has taken us as far as he can, lets not let him take us any further! Like champions league qualification and relegation inside of 12 months!! p.s. Why aren't you watching Wigan?? Matt (knotty Ash, season ticket Lower Gwladys). (17/01/06)

Poisonous Green

Ref: Ruairi O'Connor 9-1-06. Have just sent my e-mail to Radio 5 Live. Expressing my displeasure at their biased commentaries in favour of our near neighbours. I politely asked them to remove Alan Green from our airwaves before someone hangs the twat up by his fucking eyelids. "We shall not be moved" not even for the redshite. Mike Con. (17/01/06)

Agents

How ironic that two former EFC stalwarts should be commenting on agents. The way football is run and come to think of it the Country there is no place for the truth. One can only hope that Mike Newell manages to go up the ladder like he deserves, but after what he has said and intends to do it would seem very doubtful.

As for Kevin Ratcliffe does he not read BLUEKIPPER? There was no room on this website when "Shagaroo" and Grav. were being touted by you know who. Why did he not highlight the situation then although to be fair every grassroots supporter knows what is going on. No transfer news today but Moyes tells us Biffa is on "Blob". Does he not think any of us go to the match. Well done to Jack in Auckland but you should have burnt the shirt. (Photos) GOOD LUCK TOMORROW LADS. Blueernie. (17/01/06)

Rubbish

FORGOT TO MENTION DICKIE WRONG, OSMAN, PREKI, CLAUS, HOTTIGER, BILIC, WILLIAMSON, BRETT, M. WALKER, FUKIN PAUL HOLMES, AND ANY OTHER PILE OF SHITE THAT'S PLAYED /MANAGED/CONTROLLED EVERTON F C ,THE MISSUS AGAIN TO FUCK OFF BECAUSE I STILL CANT BE ARSED. DEAN/PARKEND. (17/01/06)
