70's throwback shite's

Am I the only one still reeling by the way we were treated at Stoke? Thank god for the result because I sure as hell don't want the 'privilege' of seeing another match at that god forsaken shit hole. Don't get me wrong the
ground was OK but I am absolutely appalled at the attitude of the Stoke supporters, who for 'end of game' entertainment decided to rush round to our end and try and provoke a bloody big punch up. We were definitely not talking a minority but a sizeable element who the 'riot equipped' police allowed to stand there providing their own special greeting to the departing Evertonians. All I needed was Mungo Jerry sideburns, White knee length
trousers and 18 eyelight Doc's and I would have sworn I'd been thrown back into British Football's most dark and dismal past. I foolishly parked some distance from the ground which meant after about 100 metres from leaving the ground I received the charming and jovial 'You're on your own now mate!' from the Stoke Constabulary. I saw two Evertonians singled out for abuse and a slap, fortunately they had none of it and quite rightly defended themselves. Even more pathetic was seeing young evertonians cowering behind their bewildered Parents as grown men continued to try and provoke trouble. On returning to the car I then proceeded to hear the story on Radio 5 of the Evertonians ordered out of a City centre Pub by Stoke fans who didn't
allow away supporters to drink or indeed park in the City centre..

We have recently had a racist issue which quite rightly was brought swiftly to the attention of the public by our Club and the great British press. Where are they when this kind of incident happens? Are they calling for fines or bans? or indeed any kind of punishment? No it is just accepted that we as Everton must have deserved it, we definitely did not. As far as I can see we behaved ourselves and did nothing to constitute this type of reaction
either from the Police or the Stoke fans.

Its absolutely disgusting that we have no mechanism for complaint either through the club or the FA (emails fall on deaf ears). It was certainly enough to convince me and my lot that Stoke do not deserve promotion and I
personally hope they remain in the lower divisions along with the other 70's throwbacks.
Regards, ROM. (08/01/02)

Get yer bat archie.

I'm fresh from watching West Ham giving Macclesfield a good pasting on the shitty beeb. What is their obsession with so called 'giant killing', why do they want quality sides to suffer at the expense of part - timers who can't kick a ball to save their fuckin lives. Barry Davies was gutted as Joe Cole knocked in the third, almost in tears (similar in 95 when Rideout nodded in against the Manc twats, only difference that time he WAS crying). Well fuck you Barry and Fuck the beeb, quality always shines through above any gang of postmen, butchers, bakers and candlestick makers.
Which brings me nicely to the blues result against Stoke yesterday (once again the shitty beeb upset that the Blues put in a performance). It's good to see a result like Stoke after the dire shite we've been forced to watch over the last month (I say forced to watch because Evertonians must watch the Blues, it's a trait bred into us all even in the darkest days and the most awful performances, we MUST watch).
Without getting carried away though, they were a second division side and they were shite.
Mine is a simple plea - let's let Walter and Archie sort the fuckers out. I really do believe that it has been a half-decent season until Christmas time. I'm as baffled as the next Blue as to some of Walters decisions, but let's not forget that we've spent the best part of the season in the top half, it HAS been an improvement on previous years. I was just as carried away as everyone when we murmured under our breath suggestions of (dare I say it) European placings at the end of the season. Let's face it, that won't happen just yet but things have definitely been better this season.
A lot depends on us ugly bastards doing our bit as well. The atmosphere in Goodison Palace can at times be, well frankly, fuckin atrocious. I know getting twatted three nil by Charlton at home doesn't exactly make you want to break into a chorus of "we're by far the greatest team etc....." but there have been times when we've served up some decent stuff and there is still a real air of pessimism around the place.
So lets all look forward to a brighter 2002 and give Walter and his blue army something to smile about. If it helps, let Archie "Taz" Knox set about the slackers with his enormous fists, but lets all be blue together, and who knows, maybe the £4.67 that Bungalow Bill has released will be the end to all our problems! Anyone know how this goes......?

Hi blue boys. Good site by the way, the official one is so boring. Please could ANYONE tell me what the tune is that goes with

"Oh we hate Bill Shankly,
and we hate St John,
But most of all we hate Big Ron
,And we'll hang the Kopites one by one,
On the banks of the royal blue Mersey..."

as featured on the shanties page.

I've got my kids word perfect on "Its a grand old team..." so they need to learn a new song.
Thanks, Damo. (06/01/02) e-mail your answer to info@bluekipper.com

The Goodison Curse

Why do we always get fucked over?? we paid 4.5million for young Thomas but a small return for the 2 goals he has netted and now the first divi beckons with no strike force. 4 points of the relly Zone and things are back to normal. Saints and Ippy coming into good form is not what we want as we will slipp further behind... Then comes the Mad Dog situation "i havent got any moivation" well simple give the lads a normal office desk job or maybe put him down the bottom of your street with a stop and go sign after two days of that boring sh!te job i'm sure he'll have more motivation than Gazza on Speed... for fuk sake your playing football lad what more motivation do you need??? cum clean and just admit your another JUDAS whom would find plenty of motivation with newcastle and bigger pockets..but watch out for the goodison curse once you leave.. see Judas cunt face barmby, no ankles dummbo, and young sidelined bally for details.. Kenwright should get a grip

After having read the letter and the subsequent correspondence from Dunford, all I can say that it is shocking that someone who has put the time and effort like Ian Macdonald being talked down to by a suit, especially
Dunford. If that was any other place of work, people would have had their cards - no doubt. I'm on Macdonald's side with this one, and he'll have my support all the way. Is Kenwright afraid of people in the board rooms, or the admin side, because heads should roll because of this. No players turning up for the kids party is inexcusable, and it shows what contempt that some, not all, of the players and management have for the Club they supposedly represent. Its one poor excuse after another. Strong leadership from the ivory towers - now that would be a novelty.

Dunford's Reply

It wasn't so much the content, (Although disheartening as it was) of Ian's article is was in fact the letter by Dunford to Ian disputing his findings. Click here to see the letter.

Lets look at it bit by bit.

Point 1 "I acknowledge receipt of your envelope" (Condescending twat) It was a letter addressed to you. Oh and thanks for the distribution of the letter although I doubt if it will reach all intended recipients because of the admin nightmare that is currently EFC.

Point 2 "Training on a Sunday morning may have been a justifiable reason for not attending". What Bollox that is, he is offering an excuse without checking the full facts. This was a full breakdown in communication by those within EFC who have responsibility for relaying information.

Point 3 Megastore "our decision was made on sound commercial grounds and we stand by that". Our Megastore must then be the only fucking commercial enterprise in Britain that does not make a profit around Xmas. I mean even my local Skin Grafts R Us shop makes a profit a Xmas. What a terrible excuse and in my opinion a blatant falsehood. Incidentally Ian mentions in his article about the stock levels for the store at Xmas. (This was asked around 8 weeks ago I believe) and he was given the assurance that stocks would be available. Believe me they where not no stock and not even open. Get someone in who is capable of running a piss up in a brewery. (Its only a god damn shop for goodness sake)

Point 4 "He takes exception" about the "day to day running of the club. Well Mr Dunford take a hard look at yourself, truth hurts Sir and you are simply not up to the Job. You treat people with contempt and your arrogance is only surpassed by the current Prime Minister who thinks the whole country is thick. At least you stick to Evertonians.

Point 5 "I do not want to say any more on the subject" That I am afraid sums the whole rotten thing that is EFC at the moment. "I don't want to say any more". You sir I believe in my opinion are everything EFC represents at this moment in time. I will be glad to see the custodian of this club (or the element that you have of it) out of your hands, and into the hands of someone who is or appears to be believing in what they do.

Where is your passion Sir where is your fight, attitudes from the top filter there way down to the bottom and if as I think you are a true reflection on what EFC is today then please roll on tomorrow.

I have and always will be an Evertonian, you sir I trust or suggest are more interested in other things.

Mark Williams. (06/01/02)

Ian Macdonald's Resignation.

As a member of Everton Supporters Club Redditch Area (ESCRA) I was very enlightened and even more disappointed to read about the reasons for his resignation. The Club had better take a hard look at itself, before many of its hard core supporters become completely disillusioned.(If not already) Living over a 100 miles away, we rely of the BlueKipper site to keep us up to speed with what's going on, for this, very many thanks. No doubt other supporters through out the land will read what has been going on and have a good laugh especially after the dire performance against Charlton. I shall not go on about the use of the reserves, etc., because that insults the true supporters intelligence. Jim Farley Studley. (01/01/02)

Are we all wrong ?

All the very best for the New Year and future success with Kipper. But don't forget...if it ain't broke...don't fix it !!!

Sat here at 6am on Jan 1st, on what's supposed to be one of the most celebrated days(well nights) of the year, and all I'm thinking of is the demise of our great club. Fucking sad isn't it ? Now I'm not going to get silly here and start saying I wonder if the players, WS etc are worrying, it's New Year for fuck sake, but it got me thinking about the Charlton game. I was dying with the flu, as probably half the crowd were, one of the lads was green from the previous nights exertions ( and really shouldn't have been there!!) and on walking from the game I saw some old bloke walk up to one of Merseyside finest and declare " All the best son. I travel from Wales to watch them, been watching them all my life, never left a match early in all that time", glances at his watch, and says "4.30. Says everything doesn't it son?". IS ANYONE FUCKING LISTENING !!!!
I don't like doing it either, but I was nearly ordering the cab at fucking 3.30 mate!
After the events at the Xmas kids party, Mad dog, injuries, finance, tactics (where?), something has got to give, and I'm really starting to think that if Bill doesn't start looking over his shoulder, Walter and the Sgt are gonna take him with them. I would hate to see that happen to him, he is one of us, credentials for owner or not. Smith will wear the badge of his next club, I'd hate to see Bill unable to get to the game. Maybe he's thinking too much of HK, and how Carter stuck through it all. If you are Bill, please, please, tell US the reasons, because I, and it seems pretty obvious by now everyone else, can't for the life of us see why at this moment in time. If you back him, tell us, but tell us why, and stand by it. But you of all people will understand if you are shunned by us in the future. I wouldn't want that responsibility, but you took it, knowing fully what it meant. It's already been written that defeat by Boro, and Stoke would be enough, I wonder if it will. Probably by the time this is on we will know one of them, and who knows, something may have changed, but something will have to soon.
Ps.Sober and well pissed off....Happy New Year !! Park End Bill. (01/01/02)

Where is the club going?

A happy new year to all, and many thanks to the blue kipper boys for all the hard work that you put into the web site it is really appreciated. I would urge all Evertonians at this time to sit back and take a good long hard look at where the club stands at the moment. Think back to the Joe Royle reign, OK we weren't the greatest club in the world footballing wise, but Christ ! we were respected as a team that was difficult to beat and would make life awkward for the best of em. Europe was a distinct possibility most seasons and we even got their once, coupled with this we used to thrash the scum every season ( ah fond memories ) and even won the FA cup one year. Look at what we have now ? A management that doesn't know it's arse from it's elbow but keeps churning out the same excuses every week i.e. injuries, lack of decent sized squad, no money, the list as you all know is endless. Along with this our best players are being allowed to leave, and I wont fucking swallow that old one about them not being happy and 'we don't want people who don't want to play for the club'. They are simply not happy at the way they are being treated and the way the club is being run, this has also manifested itself in the youth ranks with our best young players being allowed to leave without a fight, how the fuck do the likes of Owen and Fowler (oooh that hurt to write that) come to be the players they are. As for the administration side, the reply to the letter of Ian McDonald says it all, that man like the rest of us would die for this club but Dunford thinks he can treat him like a piece of shit and quite frankly that is a disgrace and a slur on all Evertonians not just Ian. We are a club in decline and freefall, the signs are their, just ask Man City fans they have been through it and it broke their hearts. Happy New Year. Lynchy.(01/01/02)

'Half time whistle'

After reading Mickey Blue Eyes 'Half time whistle' I'd just like to congratulate you on an honest and intelligent bit of writing without the usual vitriol and kneejerk reactions of other sites. Long may it continue.

Lies, lies and more fuckin' lies!!

Like the rest of the blues out there I have had my Xmas spoilt by the shite I have had to endure on the pitch. The game v Charlton just put the icing on the cake - NEVER in 30 years of watching the Blues have I seen such inept, disinterested displays by men(?) who should be PROUD to wear the royal blue jersey - and I have seen some Shite!!!
It got me thinking (Again!!) about the lack of players / quality. Now am I imagining it, or were we told last season that the money was there for Steve Lomas, and weren't we told in the summer (season ticket renewal time!!) that Walter knew the squad was too small and would be buying 5/6 players. What actually happened?? - we fuckin' sold 5/6 players and brought in - 1!!!!! We apparently had the money for Hedman but,,,. So where the FUCK is the money now that we are DESPERATE for someone to score a goal????
I for one am sick / tired of being fed with crap. I understand that we are struggling financially, but that doesn't mean they have to give us false hope. I have also just read the letter by Ian McDonald re the kids Xmas party and the inability of our overworked heroes(?) to attend. Why do we care - it's obvious they don't - not fuckin one of them!!!
Ian Mc also mentions the administrative inadequacies at Everton - well just to prove a point, as a season ticket holder - for the last time!!! - i am 'lucky' enough to get a Xmas card from MY club. Will someone please tell the arseholes there that Xmas is on 25th December - not the 29th which was when I got my card!!!
Happy New Year to all the real blues out there - straight away that discounts anyone at the club!!!!
Up Yer Gwladys. (01/01/02
