Rich?

18TH richest club, what does that mean? No not among the top clubs on the field of play. However it does not happen over night but were stable in the league now need to kick on. Four quality signings down the spine of the team .......then were motoring. Yours in blue. NEV ST. NEOTS. (23/02/06)

Agreed

Best email on kipper for a long long time. Paulie Park End! Agree with all that you say! COYB. Max. Wirral. (23/02/06)

Sander Westerveld

So We've signed a cunt who while he was with the shite thought that no scouser could understand Dutch. He had a regular web blog over life in England and decided to tell the whole Dutch world what a stinking hole we come from. Well this exiled scouser will certainly keep an eye out for further utterances. T.R. From Netherton (22/02/06)

Nothing But The Best

Some of the deciples of the moysiah are probably too young to remember what it feels like to win the league since it is nearly twenty years since we last won it and actually twenty one years since we won it with our team of no-stars. It is now approaching 11 years since we last won a major trophy the FA cup against the mancs in 95. Although our current team is at last starting to battle it has become like shutting the door after the horse has bolted. It is now February and we are out of all the cups even if we get into Europe our midfield is too weak our defence is ageing and we can't hit a cows arse with a banjo. This is the sum total after 4 years of management. I hope the mancs come in for Moyes. The quicker the better. What we need is someone who will make Everton respected again someone who can build a team and inspire it too achieve better things, someone who cares strongly about our youth set up and how it is run. In the seventies Brian Clough wanted to come and build a team to challenge the red shite but our board shit themselves and fucked him off. I believe his son Nigel Clough comes from the same mold after he inspired his team to get a draw against Man U. I hope our current board takes this on board. You can't turn back time but you might be able to rectify the mistakes of the past. Chris Simpson. (22/02/06)

Sign Moyesy On A Longer Contract

We have spent a awful long time finding a manager. Lets get him signed on a longer contract. We know he loves the Blues. You know what's ahead. The teams look at results then look at what is out and within their budget. Moyes will be a prime target for the Newcastle's of this world. John Lea. (22/02/06)

More Broken Tellies In The Park End

It's not only the Upper Bullens most of the tv's in the Park stand are "broken " but are due to be replaced with plasma screens according to the
notes that have been stuck on them for most of the season I wonder if they get finally replaced in the close season and are part of the argument Wyness uses for another hike in season ticket prices
. David Droughton. (22/02/06)

Rich?

So were rich but like you have said why cant they fix the tellys or buy a new striker we`ll see how far this rich things goes an lets see if moyes will get any. Mark Shoey. (22/02/06)

Dunc's Tattoo

Just a quick note to Abi aka Blackandblu, you missed the point I was making about Dunc's tattoo. As fans, we are expected to love our club, and having a tattoo done to proclaim this is something many Evertonians have done, as you have said. Although we would like the players who represent our club to join us in our love for the club, very few go as far as Dunc in getting a tattoo - the furthest most will go will be to kiss the badge (Nick Barmby anybody?), or wear a vest beneath a shirt stating "once a blue, always a blue" (Wayne Rooney anybody?). I am not aware of any other Premier League player who adorns a similar love for their employers. Despite his many misdemeanours, it seems that Dunc loves this club as much as we do, that is why he is our cult hero. PS My wife tells me that size doesn't matter, are you saying she's just being nice to me??? Bob Turner (22/02/06)

Intertoto

Bully explains why the Intertoto Cup is an option "The new format means that we would have home and away matches in July and then if we got through that we go straight into the second round of qualifying for the UEFA Cup, so therefore you are straight into a major competition and we thought it was well worth doing". Can anyone else smell shit? If it sounds too good to be true it usually is, I wonder if Dave Whelan has anything to do with this? Blue Bill Cannie. (19/02/06)

Is It Just Me?

Again see Joe 90 re radio phone ins after the game. I always listen to Radio City and Barry Horne in the car after home games and yes after our heroic 1 nil against Blackburn they still had numerous callers having a go at individual players, the team and Davey Moyes. Okay one last time and try to get this through your obviously really thick skulls. PETER JOHNSON RAPED THE CLUB – remember Simonson – who? Yes the world class goalie we bought for millions from Tranmere? If Johnson could be that blatant laundering money through Everton what else and how much more money did he filter out from behind the scenes? 5 points behind Arsenal who are in 5th. Moyes 2 times winner of manager of the year. Only manager to take us into Champions League. Everton for the first time in top 20 richest clubs. And moaners don’t quote the Rooney transfer because we were RAPED and have since managed to get into the top 20 in a relatively short period of time. Also back off Blue Bill. He may not be the greatest business man but he is better than anyone writing into this site otherwise surely you would have the finances and business acumen to be Chairman yourself. And yes we are lucky he is a full on Evertonian. He may have to move sideways if we carry on progressing the way we have as we get bigger and more financially stable but I for one would rather have a true blue at the helm at the moment while we navigate our way out of the mess than a ruthless businessman.

Wyness has made mistakes and yes this is probably down to inexperience after his move from Aberdeen but do you think CEO’s grow on trees ? And in answer to one e-mail that said with the performance of the board etc they would be sacked by now in any other business you are so wide of the mark it is scary. If you understand or work within a big company you would know that this is simply not true. First thing Chelski did was poach Peter Kenyon. Wyness has secured JJB and Chang – 2 major reasons why we have gone into the top twenty. The club ( and fans ) are promoting Everton FC all over the world now and mainly into the huge markets of North America and the Far East. The official web site - the new club shops. Plus the best young manager in the country. Yes Man Ure may well come in for Moyes and the only way Moyes will turn them down is if he knows and believes that he has the full support of the board, team and fans.

As said by other e-mailers if he reads the unofficial sites or listens to phone ins he must wonder why the hell he is putting all this effort in. Do you lot want Everton to be successful or not. Know your history. If you are going to sing it – if you even go to games – they know it. Wear you official shirts all over the world. Let the world know. But from now until the end of the season this is it. This is the squad and as said we are 5 points behind Arsenal. There is only one way we are going to catch them and that is with full support from us. Stop slagging everyone and his wife off who are connected with the club. Store it up if you have to until after the last match of the season and get behind the team and Davey Moyes NOW. What a joy it must be to sit next to one of you moaners at a game. Thank God I don’t otherwise I know how I would react so just think what an effect it must have on the players.

Nice one re singing ‘ Only one Tony Hibbert’ against Blackburn because he was outstanding. What a confidence boost for him so now funnily enough he may start playing even better. Amazing what recognition can do to someone’s confidence. The higher we finish the more money we earn. The more European / worldwide profile we get. The more fans we get. The more merchandise we sell. The more we can spend on players. The more attractive a team we are to other players and on and on and on. So let’s stop all this moaning and having a go at things that will now not change until after the season end and get our beloved blues up the table. Then we can shove it up everyone who are always trying to keep us down and as far away from G14 as possible including it seems some of our own supporters. I thought before Blackburn it was the game to turn our season around but now the next 2 games are massive and good results against Newcastle and West Ham away and you never know. See you at Newcastle. Paulie, Park End and Disciple of the Moyesiah. (19/02/06)

Noah Baarde

Come on Paul have a word, Noah Baarde?? I mean think about it. Great site lads, Keep it up. Matt. (19/02/06)

Rich List

Just a quick one!! just been on the "official" blues website, Big Keith is gloating about us being named in the top 20 richest clubs in the world (18th). Now is it just me but I am thinking hhmmmm why the fuck are we not spending any of this money! Ok I hear the nay Sayers already sayin "we unbeaten in 9 etc etc" (apart from Chelsea) but lets just calm the fuck down and before we do a Bolton and give the ginger one a 10 year contract, lets look at the squad! the word depleted doesn't even come close! although he has come in and done great, we shouldn't be bringing the likes of Stubbs back to the club supposedly moving foreword!

We may only be 5 points being the gooners but at least they have strength and depth to get out of it! we got one recognised striker at the club! Dunc is gone now! pains me to say it but the man is a liability not fit and only intent on twatting people! we cannot afford injuries or suspensions on our shoestring squad! I am worried already as to whom ginge is gonna bring in this summer KROLDRUP!!!!! need I say any more!! seems like this quick one turned into a bit of a rant, but if we are rich, lets see it then! SHOW ME THE MONEY!!!!!!! but to the ginger one!! spend wisely for fucks sake!!!!!! but spend!! you tight get its not your money! Matt (season ticket lower gwladys) (19/02/06)

Poom

Mart Poom failed a medical at Bellefield today! His heart went Poom Poom Poom, instead of Boom Boom Boom! Tom Astley. (19/02/06)

Love It

Thought I better let you know how much i love this site!! I visit it at least 4-5 times a day and think you should know you're doing a great job!
Also, was at Goodison on saturday, bit of a special atmosphere?? What a game - lets just hope we can keep it up! Keep up the good work!
Paul Desai. Everton 4 Eva. (19/02/06)

Green Light for a New Keeper by the F.A

Can we talk messr's Trundle or Nugent to wear a false 'Big Nev' 'tache and kid on they fancy a crack at goal? Blue Bill Cannie. (19/02/06)

New Keeper

Mark Crossley will do from Fulham for 2 to 3 weeks..........they have 3 keepers! Prem experience and down the order at Fulham. Mal(trueblue) but not holdings. (19/02/06)

Mickey Blue Eyes

Not being funny, but isn't your long moan about the 'new breed' of fans just as demented, boring and paranoid as the the red faced ale house gobshite you described in your essay. you have gone from describing a few loud mouthed gobshites and a few scallies, and then compared them to right wing politics and E.U. Legislation. So our club and society has a few whoppers in their midst. SO WHAT? Get over it, because as I said your sounding as paranoid as them, and your big long posho words so not disguise the fact! Sean J. Stoney. (19/02/06)

Blackburn Game

All credit to Moyes and the players and the fans for the passion which was shown on last Saturday! It was fucking awesome, that atmosphere was what being a blue was all about and even Moyes got caught up in the moment at half time, hats off to you for that. I for one have slated Moyes recently; he has gone some way to restoring the faith I once had in him. Keep it up Moyesy! Come on you blues! Ron. (19/02/06)

Scouser - Must Be A Blue

Sinama Pongolle has said that most people from Liverpool support Everton! I saw it on Granada Reports, but he was just confirming what every scouser really knows!. Ross Smith. (16/02/06)

FA Charge

Apparently the FA kept the cameras on Big Dunc well after the Wigan game and have decided to impose further match bans for missing the toilet when he was having a slash when he got home. In their wisdom they've also decided to hit him with a massive fine for not brushing his teeth properly before he went to bed. And so it could continue. These people just haven't got a clue.

It's time the supporters let the useless ****** know how we feel. Why not unfurl a massive banner at the next televised game to let the whole world know that our game is being mismanaged by a collection of incompetent officianados who will eventually kill the sport if they stay in charge. Yes, that's how bad they are. They let the corruption carry on until whistle blowers tell them what the already know. Cheats, divers and con-artists are rife in the game, yet the FA's inaction allows the problem to get worse. At least Dunc is obvious in the crimes he commits, which I'm not condoning by the way.

The referees are worse than useless. How can they miss incidents when they're standing in front of the play? A week doesn't go by without mention of some ridiculous decision made by the clown in black. God, I've never seen such indecision and ineptitude from the good old linesmen(?) who are now shit scared of raising their flags for fear of being overruled and embarrassed by the ref, who in some instances cannot possibly be in a better position than the linesmen(?)

The FA refuse to bring in the technology available in other sports because the bias that is so obviously towards to some of our bigger(?) teams/Clubs would be scrutinised. I really do feel like walking away from the game right now. I've got season tickets for my lad and myself. I love Everton Football Club and I'll defend them until I drop. I've seen them hit the highs and lows, if you can call being stuck in the lower reaches of the Premiership for many a year a low. Christ, I'd rather compete at the wrong end of the best League in the world than be any other team outside it. So please don't take my rant as frustration for the plight of my beloved Club. Something has to be done...and SOON!!

Less seriously. Well done Moyesy, You deserve the award mate. Hopefully it might shut up some of the moaners. Let's keep the league form going. eddieparkend. COYB. (16/02/06)

Dickie The Div

Can't believe what Dickie Wright did. What a total fuckin cockhead. If I was Moyes, I'd fine the stupid twat. Not only is nigel out for a while now it seems Dickie is as well.Marc Waddington. (16/02/06)

Chelsea, goalkeepers and bad choices

I got a right ribbing in work on Thursday after the Chelsea game, not because of the score line, that was done and dusted, but because of Richard Wright being a complete and utter arse, fucking Billy Smart have offered him a 10 min slot. Is he shacked up with someone from Claims Direct? Should be, every time he goes out he is a liability - that incident shaved a £££s off his now inevitable price tag.

Turner was bossing them about though, good to see, wish Weir would have talk to him more to get a dialogue going - Weir was piss poor on the night, shocking. So Moyes in the transfer market: Wright, Beattie, Davies and Kroldrup - poor. Cahill and Ferrari (albeit loan) and the return of Alan Stubbs - spot on. One bollock dropped too many me thinks, get it sorted Davie and make yourself into a legend not a make weight.
Rich Welsh Blues - True Blue til I die!!! (16/02/06)

A team called Merseyside?

Joe 90 call yourself an Evertonian? Any relation to the Rooney family? Whilst I agree that Big Dunc's let us down again & can't be classed as one of our great centre forwards he's more an Evertonian than you'll ever be!!!!!! From Stevertonian. (16/02/06)

Gross Stupidity

Well we all know most footballers are as thick as pig shite, but "Dickhead" sorry Dickie Wright and Chris Woods must have fell out of a stupid tree and hit every bastard branch on the way down. If I was Davey Moyes I wouldn't pay both Wright and Woods for as long as the brain donor's injured. The pillock falling out of his loft was bad enough, but for crying out loud, maybe the sign wasn't big enough or what's more likely he couldn't read the longer words, what a tit. I hope Iain Turner plays out of his skin and the halfwit never pulls on an Everton jersey again. Kevin Jones. (16/02/06)

Dosey Bastids

You know chelsea actually supply training goals for the warm up so why the fuck did chris woods an the goalies go in the main goal, well done iain turner we were beat by a class side but i think we gave them too much respect if we can get 3 points on saturday we can seriously be looking on the uefa cup. Shoey1878. (16/02/06)

State of the Union

Thanks guys for making Moyes speech to fans available. Even tough we are unable to see the white of his eyes while he was embarking on this PR exercise, and while some may be impressed that he actually made this speech, I for one, you won't be surprised to know, remain largely unimpressed. If anything it confirms my original assertion that DM is too close to the clowns that run this club. This statement has come directly from Kenwrong's catalogue of bullshit. I think faced with sheer size of their incompetence in the january transfer window, the board have wheeled out Moyes to 'do the nasty' on us. They have done it safe in the knowledge that because results are better if the fans would be more accepting this bumbling foolery from anyone, it'll be the manager who has managed to turn things round. It is a calculated move that Moyes spends some his capital with the fans and takes full responsibility for a lack of transfer activity because its more credible from him than them.

For this 'speech' to cut any ice, Moyes would have to give full details of how much funds was made available, which players were targeted, how much was demanded, how much was offered and what precipitated the decision to pull out. Some may argue that a manager shouldn't have to justify his decisions. But these are not ordinary circumstances. The unbridled incompetence and its capability in the art of manipulation and deceit of the board is legendary. Nothing is ever as it seems. It won't be the first time that they artificially create an atmosphere of expectation - signing Owen...in the full knowledge that they have no intention or ability to do anything.

We had started this season ill-prepared for the challenge we faced. That lack of preparation saw us out of the CL, the UEFA cup, the Coca-cola cup and bottom of the table in 6weeks. Of the the summer signings, it had been decided that 1 was clearly not good enough no-one can categorically say how good the rest are because we have not seen enuff of them through injury to make a judgment. We were biding our time in anticipation that there will be some transfer activity (albeit minimal) in January. Results have admittedly got better (they had to anyway) so there is no better time to make modest additions to a very thin squad to improve/consolidate our position. Instead.....nothing. Not even the Anderson Silva that Wyness himself told us would be joining after going to great lengths to explain the convoluted transfer.

This time last year we were waiting for an investment which never materialised. Given the handling of of our brief European adventure and a catalogue of lies and more lies, is it any wonder we don't believe a word that comes from these clowns? 'We are skint', 'we are not signing anybody'. Fair enough. We would like to know and what exactly what is being done to address the problem. That way we all know where we are and what is going on. But it is too much to expect from this bunch of phoneys. More worrying is that as long as we don't ask questions of these cretins and appear pleased with their stupid gestures, then they will do it to time and time again. To Bob Turner, while you go on about Dunc's tattoo, remember there loads of people (some shown on this site) who have bigger and better tattoos and they are not paid thousands of £s a week for the privilege. Abi aka Blackandblu. (16/02/06)

Injury to Wright

I must make a point while many will laugh, why the hell was there a sign left in the goal while players were warming up?? This so called team"the
best in europe" spend silly amounts of money on players, why not invest in a pitch that won t go sh***** halfway through a season again!!
My important point is if them signs were in the goals at Goodison Park and Peter Cech suffered the same fate we would never here the end of it. Dave Willoughby. (16/02/06)

PMT

I reckon PMT stands for Poor Moyesy Time! Ann. (16/02/06)

Pathetic

Chelsea have the special one Everton has the special needs one. All our frailties were aired live on National TV. Chelsea showed us so much respect that they decided to sub their best players for a rest before the end of the game. Our response bring on a long term injury player for a run out, instead of bringing on a young striker who was sitting on the bench who actually got brought on in the 89th minute in the first game of this tie, and trying to play for some pride. After all it was a one off cup tie people used to shit themselves if they drew Everton in the cup now they just rub their fucking hands. Davy has took us as far as he should be allowed to, if he had been in running a company do you think his position would be safe? not fucking likely. His failure to bring in the people we need at a time when we had the most money leads a lot to be desired. Why didn't he at least try to bring back Ball and Jeffers we could have got them on the cheap and for all Jeffers problems he would be excellent alongside Beattie, even if we were to get a European place by some fluke would you let this management team lead us again? Chris Simpson. (16/02/06)

No Money

SO DAVEY DIDNT THINK THAT ANY CONTRACTED PLAYERS WOULD FIT INTO HIS PLANS? YET A FREE STEFAN IVERSSON MIGHT. CUT THE SHIT MOYES AND KENWRIGHT. LETS FACE IT WE HAVE NO MONEY TO SPEND. HASSELBANK JUST GOT HIS 4TH GOAL IN 5 GAMES. ME THINKS HE MIGHT HAVE FITTED IN IF BORO HADNT ASKED FOR 50p !!! DAVE VIV. (16/02/06)

Last Saturday's Soccer AM on Sky 1

Did anyone notice that two Everton players featured in the "Show Off" bit (Arteta and Osman). Two! And MOTD still only gives us less than five seconds! Steve. (16/02/06)

Stop Moaning!

Just thought I would point something out to the whinging fuckers I have to read on this web site. We are now unbeaten in nine games, what more do you want? I couldn't give a shite who plays for us, as long as the boys play the way they are playing now. If you don't like it, fuck off and support Tranmere. These guys are busting their guts playing for us, and some of them have to read this shite from their own 'so called' fans. Its very simple, if you don't like it, don't fucking come. I will support my beloved team through thick AND thin. When the management isn't working well, why take it out on Moyes and the players? For some reason there is a conspiracy theory around Moyes. Do you think he doesn't want to buy a striker?

I read a great suggestion before. "lets not buy our season tickets and make the club spend some money before we do." Yeah lets strangle our club into spending money it hasn't got, just like other managers in the past have. Lets get bank loans for players again eh? This is a slow process, its gonna take YEARS to sort out the mess off the pitch. But I believe that the manager is doing his best and I will support him for it. He is making the best of the shit support he gets. So go on, slag him off, just don't whinge on here when United get him and everybody points out 'he hasn't been replaced'. Dan Brierley. (16/02/06)

Moyes and Kroldrup

My opinion is we should admire Moyes for making the decision to sell Kroldrup. "What?!" I hear you cry!! Okay, obvoiusly he messed it up a fair bit signing him in the first place, but how many managers would have just kept him and kept playing him on the basis that they had spent the money on him when they knew he wasn't up to it? (-Boumsong for instance...only plays for Newcastle because he cost £7.5m ..Taylor is miles better). Moyes knew he would get a ton of stick for selling Kroldrup but he did it anyway because he thought it was the best thing for the team and club. He should be commended for his commitment to long term achievement.

Moyes transfer record is pretty good I think. Wright might not be a big success (-although people forget how big a part he played in our 7th placed finish) and obviously Kroldrup. But other than ? Arteta £1.9m aged 23, Cahill - fantastic , Bent (-value wise), Martyn - 250 grand...unbelieavle business, Yobo??!?! £4.5m, Yobo in my opinion is fast turning into one of the best defenders around..he is so young for a centre back, he gets better and better with age. Van der meyde? when AVDM is fit i think he will become our best player. VDM-Cahill-Neville-Arteta is a great midfield. Add in Ossie who is excellent. Kilbane was and is great value for 850k (-or would you like Pembo back!??) Beattie is also producing and his effort and commitment our fantastic. Valente is finding his feet while Ferrari looks absolute quality. Compare Moyes to other managers and I for one an thoroughly fucking grateful he is our manager. Gmcajo. (16/02/06)

Transfers

It's disappointing the transfer window has come and gone without us buying any players, Davy Moyes has said he does not want to buy anyone in a panic buy and that they don't play. Does this mean that Bent was a panic buy, and he was glad to get shut of him? What about Van de Meyde or is it Maybe? He has spent longer on the treatment table than Anderton from Spurs. Davy Moyes also said they could not find any players suitable. Have we not got any scouts looking out for any. I think the American Feet at Pearl Harbour, and General Custer, had better scouts than us. I do hope they can start looking now its only six months to the start of the new season that should give them time. Les Mc. (16/02/06)

Noah Baarde

Just wondering is this a p**s take or is it for real never heard of him. Could you tell me anything about him? Paul Hafford. (16/02/06)

People's Club

So Everton F.C are the "Peoples Club" are they? Well having regularly checked the bluekipper website I find that quote a hard one to believe. David Moyes is the manager, let him do his job, for ll those that know their history check out the Moyes Reign stats, work out the average league position, work out what you like and the record speaks volumes. Moyes IS A GOOD manager, yes he's made a few mistakes, as we all do from time to time, but on the whole he is doing a good job. We could win the Champions League and there would still be some of you so called "great supporters" out there slagging off the team or Moyes's tactics, what the hell is wrong with you lot!

Stop whinging about how you spend all of your money on tickets and telling people not to buy season tickets until you see who has been signed, if you are so anti- the way Everton F.C is operating then F#£K off and go and support Accrington Stanley or something because your not true blues your nothing but pessimists with nothing better to do than email Everton websites all day slating the team that you "apparently" support, for all those who don't know the meaning of the word please feel free to look it up in the Collins edition of the dictionary. From the understanding of the word maybe then we can live up to being called the peoples club once more. When Everton are an established top 5 or 6 club which mark my words will not be far off, Moyes will turn around and leave, then ask yourselves why, because of all the doubters is the answer, he will have done his job proved himself and then gone on to a club who will back and support him. Great site by the ways lads (shame about some of the comments on it though) Come on Moyes and the Boys. B. (16/02/06)

Not Enough Balls

Today I got living proof that I'm an alien. I have got to come from another planet when I hear that our beloved Captain and full back and most recent goalscorer D Weir says his mate on the right, one T Hibbert is so good he should play for England. We all know that Hibbert is a consummate passer of the ball providing it is not collected by flying scientists testing the snow for Global warming. He has put two feet through a few advertising hoardings in fiendish attempts at re entry which is fine and dandy if he takes his man with him because he can then be booked and settle down to a more staid approach like passing to the opposition. I could go on but I'm flying home to Mars to watch the top Premiership team Crater United. If Mr Hibbert disappears, believe me we haven't poached him. Blue Ken. (13/02/06)

Moyes Is The Man

Some of the maniacs emailing your site are unbelievable. Living in Australia, I only see the boys in blue on the telly about 12 times a season plus whatever highlights are on during the week and what's on the net. David Moyes has given us 2 top 7 finishes in 3 years and we'll be top 10 again this one.

What do you want from the guy? Earnshaw? Not good enough for West Brom. Samaras? I really liked the way he kept tripping over the ball at the recent match at Goodison, gosh I wish we'd spunked 6 million on him! Sutton? Absolute pants! Get behind DM and the team or go follow the shite! S Smith. Western Australia. (13/02/06)

Terrace Songs

Haven't we got any new songs? It's about time we did. Millwall at Goodison, never shut up and had loads of songs. We're has our originality gone? Lets get the grey matter going. At Villareal, we were singing ARTETA ARTETA ARTETA, ARTETA ARTETA ARTETA, ARTETA ARTETA ARTETA, etc, to some mexican tune, outside some of the bars. Its loads better than, Mikel Arteta, da da da da da. And how about, to the same tune the Mancs sing about Gary ( i really do hate the fucking redshite ) Neville. PHILIP NEVILLE IS A BLUE, IS A BLUE IS A BLUE, PHILIP NEVILLE IS A BLUE, HIS BROTHER HATES KOPITES. I met Gary Neville once, and he told me its the Redshite he hates, not the BLUES. And that was before Phil was playing for us. Great site lads, keep up the good work. Paddy. (13/02/06)

Chelsea Mascot

I am still laughing at the Chelsea mascot who took the piss out of Stevie Me in the tunnel. Top marks to Match of the Day 2 for showing it. Robert Murphy. (13/02/06)

Apology

It seems that I got it wrong, and boy am i glad i did on the return of Stubbsy. He has come back a new player and you can see the difference in a certain Mr Weir, with him now finding the net. Seriously it still is not the answer but well done Stubbsy you are proving that you are Everton through and through. Wacko. St Helens. (13/02/06)

A new number one in the summer

The has been talk recently about who the number one goalkeeping spot will lie to next season, i think moyes should spend all his cash on a striker a give Ian turner the chance if Martyn's not up for it, Wright should be sold, he must be on at least 25 g's a week. Shane. (13/02/06)

The Future Lies With New Young Blue Blood

I would just like to say that at the moment we look like the team that earned 4th spot in the premier league last year and we are climbing the league at present. I do not care who comes in so long as they do not alter the way the blues are going at present. If we could afford Rooney (the best player in England at the moment) I don’t want him back. All I want is progress! Give some of the youth a run in this side that is high on confidence, high on team spirit and very high on experience. If we don’t do what Sir Alex Ferguson did with his young bloods (Giggs, Beckham, and the Nevilles) at this crucial time we will always loose out at the transfer market as we always do anyway, loose out when it comes to exciting the fans with good news of new players coming in and continually try to be like the big boys in the league. We are not the big boys! We have more history than the rest and way more pride, but I was so excited when James Vaughan scored last season and broke records, it made me so proud of my beloved blues that I said to my brother ‘this is a sign of things to come, Moyes knows that the future lies with the young, fast and new undiscovered talent that has yet to grace Match Of The Day’ maybe I’m wrong and maybe we just want to make money. Come on Everton. Take a gamble and mix in the new with the young NOW before it’s too late and everybody gets as old as Nigel Martyn (God bless him!) Oh and yes that was a great punch by big Dunc, proper Rocky shit! Great website – keep it fishy. Love. Simon Barber. (as blue as that fat bas****ard Manning). (13/02/06)

Back Moyes

Hey, all the talk about us not signing any players let me just draw your attention to one thing, Davey knew that we would be safe after our run of good form of recent, the players he would of liked are over priced or not available just now, if we were in the bottom three then maybe he would of 'panicked bought' but as we are in good health in the prem at the moment he doesn't need to be in that situation. We have Osman who can put them away and Beats and Cahill so I don't think we need worry about our prem survival, just wait until the summer and Moyes will sort it all out, up the toffee's and all have a nice day :) Karl Judge. Think Before You Buy

Despite being unbeaten in 2006 we are not out of the woods yet. We need forty points. Like so many Evertonians I received an e-mail from the club telling me that tickets for the City game are still available. It went onto say in the e-mail "AND NOW THE PLAYERS ARE KEEN TO CLIMB EVEN FURTHER WITH A EUROPEAN BERTH STILL A TARGET." The only way we will get into Europe is through the tunnel. The facts are that fans are disappointed to put it mildly. Twenty four thousand for the Millwall game, four thousand of which were Millwall fans. For the first time for a few years tickets are available for most of the away games. Prior to the start of this season the powers that be were scouring the treatment rooms of other clubs for their clapped out has beens. Kroldrop required surgery before his limited playing time. VDM fine player that he may be is no use to us when he spends so much time in the treatment room. Was it David Moyes or David Blunkett who gave the final nod on Kroldrop's agents video? Never in over fifty years of supporting the club have I ever heard a club captain apologise for so many inept performances. Irrespective of how much blue blood courses through our veins and not forgetting that we are blue forever it is imperative that the Scottish mafia get it right during the summer and not on the last possible day on the transfer window. We need inspirational signings before we get conned again for £420 season tickets. Moyes said that he did not believe in signing a player and not liking him three days later. He needs to understand how it feels to cough up hundreds of pounds and hardly ever see your team score. It is our inherent right to give criticism to the club when it does not deliver. I accept that we can not win all of the time and that from time to time there will be better teams than us but face it this has been a season that promised so much and has never hit the heights. JACK WARNER. LIFELONG BLUE. (10/02/06)

How Good Is James Vaughan?

From what everyone says who have had contact with James he is meant to have the ability and potential to be better than Michael Owen. The same Owen who also made his first team debut at 17 and then stayed in the first team. Robbie Fowler 18. Old adage if good enough then old enough. Plus others that are now starting to come through over the next year or so like TJ who again is meant to have huge potential. See Alex Ferguson early struggling days as he had to bring the youth threw and asked everyone to be patient. Famous Alan Hansen quote, Match of Day etc. So why then would Moyesy want to splash out £7 million plus on Andy Johnstone ( see Joe90 e-mail ) or anyone else when he knows he has a future England international coming through and has to be careful re our finances? Then add into this big Victor. The only one, realistically, who he possibly could have gone for in my opinion is Everton fan, 20 year old Dave Nugent. But Kerr at Preston is not going to release in January with the push for promotion on except for a high fee i.e. £4 million. He is defo not worth that at the moment and I am sure Moyesy tried for a lesser fee before the window closed. I have spoken to a few Preston fans who do rate him as an excellent prospect – very quick with a goal scorers instinct but they all say he has a lot to learn and is again not worth £4 million now but maybe in the future. Plus Kerr is Moyes old partner in crime and I am sure if Preston miss out on promotion again this year Kerr will have to let Nugent come for what Moyesy has priced Nugent at – approx £1.5 million. Sorry Preston fans but I do hope you miss out so we do get Nugent and then maybe use Preston in the future because of Moyesy’s relationship as a nursery club.

I am glad we have not been held to ransom. We have all got to remember that it takes time to build a team but also to sort out financial problems especially the size of ours after the club was raped by Peter Johnson. So yes maybe we have just been hit by the usual smoke screen but I think this is because everyone is working very hard behind the scenes to stabilise the club in all areas not just on the field and also take the club forward. Monies were there to spend but we have to bring in the right people and not get burnt as with Kroldrup. A player who just did not want to know and sulked all the time in the background. What did that and Bent's attitude do to the team spirit in the dressing room. Moyesy does not want that again and will have learnt from his mistakes. As for Stubbsy he was defo brought in more for his personality, drive, desire and passion as an Evertonian and to regain the team spirit of last year than for his football and as a bonus was outstanding against Wigan. Yes the club are still making mistakes re ticketing etc but we have also made huge leaps regarding the promotion and marketing of the club from a few years ago. Everton Fc have a lot of people working for them who have been there for years and are very much old school and stuck in there ways and therefore very difficult to shift without having to spend more monies on redundancy packages.

The press office needs a major upheaval for one and younger more dynamic people employed but it is not that easy. Not qualifying for the Champions league stages cost us £15 million and in hindsight after all that happened with Collina and the Red Shite it may have been better not to have had such a unbelievable season last year and to have finished with a great season and a UEFA spot as finishing 4th has raised peoples expectations so high that we were never going to live up to it in such a short period of time. But raised expectations of those that want everything now and who for some reason seem to have short term memory loss re Everton's position when Moyesy took over on and off the field. 8 games unbeaten now – the longest run Moyesey has had since he took over. Completely overlooked in a lot of peoples eyes because we finished fourth last year and think we should be right up there again. I wish that was true too but with the financial restrictions and the difficulty in attracting players we all have to be patient. Nobody wants a Newcastle scenario, changing managers every 18 months or a Leeds scenario, spending monies we simply do not have. We have to build from the bottom up and this takes time. 3 and a half years into the dynasty re-build so far of probably a 5/7 year plan for Moyesey and it absolutely amazes me that an awful lot of supporters just cannot see, comprehend or do not want to know what an outstanding job David Moyes has done for our club.( With all mistakes taken into account ). In the Moysiah I trust. Let us keeping rocking the place and being the 12th man. Keep the faith. You know it makes sense. Paulie, Park End, Disciple of the Moyesiah. (10/02/06)

Merseyside United?

I read Joe 90`s comment about an European Premiership and 75,000 Merseysiders cramming into the brand new Goodfield Stadium to support a team containing 2 Brits and a shedful of foreigners!! I hope not.

I need to explain my reasons for loathing this idea but please excuse my ramblings. My background to supporting the blues goes like this. I grew up in a small West Wales village which (believe it or not) in 1965 had 1, yes 1 television. A year later my Mam rented our very own tele. I was 8 years old in 1966 and I watched as much T.V. as possible. My gran used to watch the wrestling on ITV (remember Kent Walton?) and also the horses and my love of sport grew in this manner with her. I knew about football even though I had not seen a live local game or a game on the tele. When the day of the cup final came round I watched in excited awe at the spectacle at Wembley when Everton fought back to snatch the cup from Wednesday! I was hooked, completely, not only with football but with my blues. O. K. I can hear some readers thinking `He`s not a true bluenose - he`s not a local lad`. All I can say to that is, and as the kipper t- shirt reads `Evertonians are born not manufactured ....`

I have followed Everton since that day and I am as passionate as I have ever been. Living in West Wales I try and get up to Goodison with my family (wife is a Hammer, but the two boys are Evertonians) as often as possible and I have been lucky to see them in two cup finals. I try and reason my love of the blues but I have given up on that, it`s a waste of drinking time. All I know is that I am an Evertonian through and through and always will be.

When Joe 90 suggest the future of football in Europe and seeing a combined Merseyside team playing in a jumped up, mega bucks, boring Eurotrash footie league in a massive, (and probably soulless) stadium I wonder if he`s lost the plot or is he a closet red? I support Everton F.C., who play football in our beautiful Goodison Park filled with passionate, blue born scousers and that suits me and my family fine!!

This is a lifelong affair and I don`t want it ruined by small talk, especially when it comes from you Joe 90. Colin Reynolds (Welsh Blue). (09/02/06)

Happy Days

Hi there Now that the 'happy days' are back, as according to David Moyes, how about a priceless and long-awaited victory against the shite on March 25? Ong Jiing Yih. (09/02/06)

Joe 90

You look forward to supporting a team called Merseyside?????????????????????????????? Blue in Brazil. (09/02/06)

Massive Club run by directionless morons!

This is my second go at submitting something, hope it works..First the lighter side! Sources inside Everton have finally revealed why Mosey has been such an abject failure at attracting the big names to the club...he's been bartering for new talent with fruit and yearly subscriptions to women's mags!! The same source is quoted as saying," We went for Emre, we thought the deal was in the bag but he wanted that little bit extra..I mean yams are particularly difficult to get hold of this time of year!"

I mean, what goes on at the Everton negotiating table?.."Ere ya lad..sign on the dotted line..oh and by the way don't forget that the contract stipulates that you must wash the directors cars on a weekly basis!"...exit player to rapturous applause.

Last season was an achievement but what became apparent this time last year was the fact that for a club aspiring to play in the champions le ague, the last thing you wanted to do was sell your most influential player, six months left on contract or not. As soon as Gravesen went the wheel started to fall off and, with the odd exception, fell into mediocrity. Madrid make a move...tell them no and say to Tommy you'll stay and see what happens..if we qualify for the CL lets talk, if not go..no hard feelings. Do EFC do that? no..lack of ambition well to the fore they sell him and from that point its been the same. Inept leadership, inept buys in the market...clueless bloody clueless!

What manager is his right mind, knowing that he has to qualify for Europe, would buy two players to bolster his squad for that scenario knowing full well that they were both carrying injuries that would negate their immediate use in that competition?...MOYES that's who..Lets increase the squad size, we need a bigger squad with class players in positions which need strengthening such as strikers. ..method employed by club..sell more players, don't replace..have smaller squad than that which we started with..great club strategy..He just seems totally bereft of any sort of savvy when it comes to buying players...we needed a striker...even when Bent was at the club we needed a striker..what the hell did he do?...naff all. I am sick and tired of this, "well we tried right up until the deadline but couldn't get the player" crap, it just does not wash anymore.

Does the club have any scouting system?..How is it clubs in Italy can find these sensational South American players (Kaka, Robinho etc..etc) before anyone else? Why is it that Everton do not attract players of that calibre?

This season was our great chance to build the club up, put it back to the top of the tree..do something..instead we crash out of Europe in both comp's and play crap for virtually half of the season...the red shite must be laughing their bloody arses off!

To cap it all now that excuse of a thug that is Ferguson decides to help the club by pole axing Scharner and getting a three match ban, just when the club need all the strike force it can get...Moyes must have loved that...it just reemphasizes just how poor this club is...the fans were screaming out for new blood..the club needed it to keep the momentum going, push for a possible European place for next season no matter how remote...nothing...

To all you "In Moyes we trust" brigade...for christ sake wake up and stop living in laa laa land...when it comes to ambition he is just not up to the job...this season shows that in abundance. Steve Mal. (09/02/06)

Let Down!!

SO DAVEY FEELS LET DOWN AFTER DUNCS DISMISSAL AT WIGAN EH? WELL NOW HE KNOWS HOW WE FUCKIN FEEL EVERY TIME THE TRANSFER WINDOW CLOSES! THIS TIME HE HAS GONE ONE BETTER AND NOT BOTHERED HIS ARSE TO SIGN ANYONE. UNBELIEVEABLE! DOES HE REALLY THINK THAT HIS CURRENT SQUAD IS GOOD ENOUGH? JUST WAIT UNTIL THIS LITTLE UNBEATEN RUN COMES TO AN END AND HE HAS NOBODY TO BRING IN TO THE TEAM. I HOPE HE KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING 'COS I FUCKING DON'T. STEVE. PARKEND (06/02/06)

Ambition

How dare DM have a go at Big Dunc. What was DM doing at the Wigan match? It just proves EFC's lack of ambition in not signing anyone at all. Like everyone else I was glued to all the football internet sites until 00.01 hoping for a surprise new addition. But NO.... just a long list of other clubs who have either managed to make a good signing or at least find someone who will help their squad. Worst of all no immediate word or explanation from EFC. this morning. They don't deserve the support they get. This site always gives us a laugh as well as good info.
Keep up the good work lads............it's a great read. Blueernie. (06/02/06)

New Interest

I've had a couple of lads working down in Slough. They were in a pub and the boss used to be on Evertons books in his youth. He asked them how the rumour of the bloke who owns Wycombe Wanderers (apparently he's loaded) buying Everton was being received on Merseyside. He's been seen on a number of occasions with blue Bill and the big rumour down there is that he's interested in an Everton Takeover. Could be nothing, could be something you never know. KelttheBlue.
