McFadden I'd just like to say I really hope Everton don't budge on Mcfadden's wage demands!! Who the fuck does he think he is? If i am not mistaken his current deal don't run out till next summer? So either get the fuck out of our club or shut it, knuckle down and fuckin earn a good contract, you useless twat! Here's a test for you Jimmy Mac!!! Bag us 20 goals next season then we'll sit down with you and talk!? We've got squad players making demands now!!! Anyway off for the summer now! see you all in August! Matt. lower Gwladys season ticket holder. (18/05/06) Feeder Club Now we have got Tim Howard on loan and we have already bought Neville from them, has there been any agreement that have become Everton's feeder club??????? Mancblue. (18/05/06) New Contracts Ok I’m gonna keep this short, why in the hell are we not signing Ferrari but have offered new deals to Weir and Stubbs, ok Stubbs I can forgive but not Weir, no way, Moyes has exhausted even my faith in him which has been pretty unshakeable for the last few years. Time to reassess the situation or we’re gonna be in DEEP shit next season! Andrew Boyer. (18/05/06) Desperate Times No great surprises, except giving Weir an extension - why??? He has been piss poor, and a poor captain as well, are we really that hard up for cash that we can't find a replacement? Ferrari being let go, I can understand, but Weir? Does this mean that Yobo is defo off and Weir is there to try and salvage our season again? Or there's no Cadbury's? Tell us the truth, what is going on? Rich Welsh Blues. (18/05/06) McFadden Just who does James McFadden think he is wanting 1million a year, the scottish prick should be grateful that moyes actually thinks he's a good footballer and offered him a contract because if it had been me he wouldn't of got one. He is SHITE. John (parkend blue) (18/05/06) I'm Not Renewing WELL ITS THAT TIME AGAIN WHEN WE REFLECT ON WHAT HAS GONE BEFORE. NOT MUCH IN OUR CASE! BARELY A DAY INTO THE CLOSE SEASON AND THE CLUB HAS SENT OUT A MESSAGE OF THINGS TO COME. STUBBS AND WEIR ARE OFFERED NEW CONTRACTS!! FOR FUCKS SAKE EVERTON I REALLY DO GIVE UP! SHOVE YOUR SEASON TICKET MONEY UP YOUR ARSE. I WILL NOT BE RENEWING THIS TIME NO WAY. HOPEFULLY MORE OF YOU WILL DO THE SAME. THEY REALLY DON'T DESERVE US. DAVE VIV. (18/05/06) Thanks For The Memories Big Dunc For as long as I can remember Everton has always had a special place in my heart and I have always tried to push this with every one who knows me. My dad has followed Everton since he was six and was taken by his dad to a game he returned the complement with me when I was 8 years of age and ever since then I have followed Everton every where when I can. The trips to wembley really do bring back lots of memories and the best of all was the charity shield game at the start of the 95/96 season. The big fella was injured and he came out of the tunnel with Craig Short at his side, the two of them were chatting when all of a sudden a set of bag pipes started up behind us and started playing flower of Scotland. I was about in tears and the big fella just looked up and pointed and started pissing himself. The big man has been a real hero of mine over the past ten years, since Big Nev left. Duncan has been a true force to recon with and I always pissed myself when if he was brought on as a sub you see central defenders thinking oh shit and looking at the bench as if to say “can I be subbed please” Thanks for the memories and putting a big smile on our faces, you will be missed but never forgotten. Most of all I hope David Moyes finds some one with a heart nearly as big as Duncan’s with a spirit and a commitment like his. Keep up the good work, your website is brilliant and I will have to try and get my Dad down from the Isle of Mull to a Blue Kipper function at some time. He absolutely loves reading everything every day. He was upset by the loss of Brian Labone. He told me of the day he went to Wembley in 1966 and ended up in the fountains in Trafalgar square in his suit that night and how when Brian lifted the cup in front of where they were stood, how it shinned in the light. I owe my Dad a lot for getting me in to Everton but I know one thing I am glad he did. I have good and not so good memories but one thing is for sure. I only cry when things touch me and yesterday touched me to think that was possibly the big fella's last game but at the same time being at the Sunderland game the other week and seeing him come on for what could have been my last time to see him play live for Everton. My missus looked at me and asked why; I looked at her and said that if you love me half as much as I love this lot you would understand. She then cuddled me and said that I was not to worry and she hopes some else special comes along soon to fill his place. No one will for a while I think but certainly not to his standards. Long live big Duncan and I hope all goes well with what ever he decides to do. I think Everton should give him the job Mr. Labone had, who else can follow that? Only Duncan has the right credentials, Kind Regards. Richard Davies. (18/05/06) WBA Programme Wanted WBA game was on my dad's birthday and as such my brother arranged for his name to go into the programme. unfortunately they put the wrong name in and so my name( i appeared as matt moley) appeared instead of my dads(james sawer) with my nickname as my surname. This was only spotted thanks to the guy in front who lent us his programme because they were sold out in our part of the stand and so we didn't get one. i'm not sure whether its worthy of going on your site, and if it is where it is worthy of going, but even if not, if any of your team have a programme i would be very grateful if at some point i could obtain a scan of it if any of your team have a copy of the programme and a scanner (page 41 of the programme i think i was on) keep up the good work. and thanks in advance. Matt Sawer (or is that matt moley) aged 16 (or is that 46). (18/05/06) Contact Matt: aparanoidmole@hotmail.com Too Many Kits I am writing to show my disgust at the fact that Everton Fc are again releasing a kit for just one season. It is the fifth year in row now when even money grabbing teams like Manchester United keep their home shirts for 2 years. I cannot understand for the life of me why Everton continue to openly rip their fans off and how they have the nerve following such as season. I am a season ticket holder living in Swansea, that means a 400 mile round trip for me every home game which I can assure you is pretty expensive but i love everton and would never complain about that, but the fact that they can openly rip the fans off really does get to me. If Everton release a new second and third shirt too, it will mean 15 shirts in 5 years, I surely cannot be the only person who see's this as scandalous. Regards. Aborland. (18/05/06) Blue Kipper Presentation Night It was a brilliant night for all Evertonians and we all enjoyed ourselves thoroughly ! Top table and Sean Styles were top class, and Mikkel's beaming smile when he received the award and his thank you speech was well worth the ticket. It was well organised, so well done to all the Kipper team. It must have been a big effort, so well done again. Once a blue, always a blue ! Best Regards. Blue Peter. (18/05/06) New Kit I remember a couple of years back everyone slating Manure for changing their kits every year and now were doing it! I'm all for making money for the club but these kits ain't cheap especially when u go to games as well, we even had a yellow third kit last year that we didn’t wear! Top site lads, I check it everyday! Kurt in Widnes. (18/05/06) Give Moyes Money I don't want to try and tell Moyes who to sign for next season, because he must have a list of players he'd love to sign. But it's all about how much he get's to spend!! Think Moyes done some good business last season with the likes of our new fans and players, player of the year Arteta for 2.5m and our own BIG PHIL loads of clubs would of loved to sign Phil. A striker with pace is a must for next season, he's got to give stubbs, Nigel a new deals and we've not seen enough of Matteo to take the risk of 4m look what happened to our lad wot's his name again!!!! Come on Bill give us some money to spend. Ray Pinnington. (18/05/06) Phil Neville In a recent interview with Phil Neville, he talks of how he is "disgusted with (him)self" at not realising Brian Labone was not just " a normal worker at Everton"... How "that's the type of club this is: no one stands out from the rest, everyone's equal. That's why it's so special. I thought after Manchester United that football would become a job to me, but it's still my life. That's how happy I am here."... And how he ""feels like an Evertonian now"... The final comment from the reporter is "it sounds as though he has the blue blood of Brian Labone in his veins pumping him on." Great stuff. Quality fella. Tim Taylor. Nottingham. (18/05/06) Worried About New Signings I think we have some concerns over the summer. Ferrari is all but gone therefore we need a central defender. Stubbs is off contract and may choose to go elsewhere + he is approaching 40!!! We need to show some ambition! It surprises me that Jimmy Bullard from Wigan was linked to us earlier in the year and will now be signing for Fulham (that’s right Fulham). I reckon we keep Turner in goals he looks OK. Give him another year playing behind Nigel Martyn and this kid will be ok. Also how's about we keep Nigel as our goalkeeping coach? Lets have a look at Chris Wood’s record….Steve Simonsen, Paul Gerrard, Richard Wright. Who has he developed? I agree with most people that Moyes is a great manager and has given the club some stability. However we need to employ somebody with the know how to sign players. It is not happening at the moment. We seem to go public with everyone we want to sign only for some shit team like Newcastle (Parker, Emre) or Liverpool (Sissoko) stealing them under our nose. I am also concerned with some of the rumours on the website lads….Paul Dickov? Seriously. Lua Lua……I would rather go with a no name youngster that can bang a few in than some nobody washed up bench warmers from other teams in the Premiership….If we are going to sign some bench warmers let it be from a top Euro team filled with stars (eg like AVM from Inter). Hope Cahill and the Aussie Boys give it to them at the World Cup…Come on Aussie. Steve. (18/05/06) Make Phil Neville Captain I have just read that Phil Neville has turned blue and he thinks the fans are great. Well who doesn't? I will always know that Phil will be Man Utd through and through, but it was nice to hear him say the things he did in his interview. Well done. Phil you should be captain next season. Shoey1878. (18/05/06) Mike Trebilcock I DONE A BIT OF A GOOGLE SEARCH ON MY OLD WORKMATE MIKEY, AND YES, I CAN TELL YOU THAT ABOUT 4 YEARS AGO HE WAS LIVING IN DARWIN, FIT WELL AND HEALTHY, AND WORKING AS A FURNITURE REMOVALIST FOR WRIDGWAYS REMOVALS. YOU POMS OUGHT TO BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES HAVING SUCH AN EX SUPERSTAR DOING THAT. JUST KIDDING, BAZZA. (18/05/06) Not Good Enough Have
the players give up? Are they not good enough or is it a bit of both?
Probably the latter. Things could be worse. If you were a Birmingham fan
they could be anyway. I thought their effort coupled with the fact they
only came for a point whilst in their position was a disgrace. What would
DM had done though, gone for a point like Steve Bruce, I think so. I have
backed him all the way even after the dreadful start but I am sick of
him now. His comments about there not being many changes in the summer
is depressing. Is it true about the interest in Paul Dickov? God now how
embarrassing is that. Imagine what Mikel will think playing alongside
that load of crap. Why did he only play Anichebe for 4 minutes on Saturday?
It is so frustrating. He may not be the answer and it is obviously too
early to say but we know what to expect when Fergie comes on and that
is having a sore neck. Get Off The Manager's Back i think the fans should get of moyes back as an everton and sunderland fan i think mr moyes has done a very good job and with fans who wants to get rid or the manager must look back and think when we had mike walker who was a very good manager at norwich but could not make it at everton we had harvey who was a good coach but not good as manager big joe was good manager but like who ever at the time you put in charge needs money at the time we were in massive debt could not bring in world class players even a good manager moyes has done well he has so far built a team and if your all strong evertonians like you say get behind our team and boss you should think yourself lucky were not with my other team sunderland who should still be in prem and that team needs board all Everton need is someone too invest money into the club .so lets get behind moyes for the rest of season and hope we have good 1 next season. Paul from Clubmoor. (18/05/06) Class Players Needed The gap in class as been narrowed but now we still need three new class players otherwise we will suffer the same shit outcome as last year. John Lea. (18/05/06) I
wrote this and can prove it if you want. I wrote it from the heart and
never expected anyone to market it. I originally allowed the now de-funked
Goodison for Everton boys to use it on T Shirts to raise money for what
at the time I considered a worthy cause. I've seen it banded about on
posters and T Shirts. It's even been changed slightly by some people.
However I'm pleased to see that you use the
original version. Be patient! Not that I am being pedantic or anything, but in Shep's piece he mentions that he wants success as much as the rest of us, but he is prepared to be patient! sensible enough I hear you say! I agree, but then at the end of the piece he mentions us being in decline since Harvey took over from Kendall......! Now I am no mathematician but that as about 29 years ago and besides winning the FA cup in '95 we have done fuck all since!!! I don't think I am alone when I say that MY patience is wearing a shade thin now! Ginge has took us as far as he can in my opinion, I am grateful for the 4 month run we went on last season enabling us to finish above the shite! But we never really kicked on from there! Shep says we missed the boat when the prem began! well we missed an even bigger boat this year with our shambolic performance in Europe. I don't believe in the constant sacking of managers but how long do you give someone who constantly picks shite! buys shite! and who's tactics are shite? I only hope someone at EFC HQ reads this site! cos I am not alone in my rants!!! and site like this one give us the opportunity to sound off at the shambles we are forced to sit through week in week out! We will still turn up and support cos that's what we do! but its hard sometimes when the players don't give a shit and cant be arsed cos the seasons over! they have to give us something to shout about! Want motivation???? then check your fuckin bank statements will probably be in the paid in section from Everton FC LTD then following a load of .00000000000..! play for the badge, for the fans, and for your fuckin huge wages!!!!!! Matt (Lower Gwladys season ticket holder) (18/05/06)
Is it just me or did I hear and read Moyes after the last transfer window when we needed a striker, and in fact, did the opposite and sold one? (albeit a shite one) that he just couldn't get the players that he wanted, but not to worry because he had money to spend and would spend it in the summer. Now he's coming out and saying actually don't expect much I'm skint...and he says he doesn't even think the squad needs much additions! Is he pissed? This summer is crucial for Moyes and Everton, personally I don't think he'll pull it off and we will go into next season without the additions we desperately need. Another thing...if Paul Dickov arrives at Goodison I'll not be back until Moyes goes! Sort it out someone at Goodison for fucks sake! Jeff. Belfast. (15/05/06) One More Year Give
the BIG fella another year just so he can stuff one in against the red
shite it would be priceless but apart from that i would hate to see him
New Kit I personally think it looks ok?, my favourite is still the 84/85 kit with Hafina as the sponsor...sooo many memories!! Mancblue. (18/05/06) Price Per Goal Just
having a look through our Premier League goals tally, 21 goals at home.
Cost of season ticket £476 equating to £22.67 per goal. Value
for Final home game Heard a rumour that disgruntled Everton supporters will be demonstrating at our last home game on Sunday. Can I suggest that if this is the case, it will be carried out outside the ground after the game. These fans have every right to air their views, but I can think of no better finish to the season than to make sure we all pay our respects to Brian Labone. Of the two options, I know which one I will taking. I've already let my feelings be known about the loss of the Big Man and think that we could pay tribute to him by awarding something like a 'Brian Labone Man of the Match' award for the last home game of each season. I know the Club has decided to name one of the Lounges after Brian, but not all supporters will feel the benefit of this decision. If we are to remember the Everton greats, as we have with Dixie, then something that is accessible to all Everton fans should be considered. Probably my last message for this season. Not been great for us but could have been worse. Looking forward to the World Cup, then wait with anticipation and optimism as always for next season's fixture list in the top flight. Renewed my lad's and my Season Tickets earlier tonight. Still get a buzz going to Goodison, even on a non-match day. Finally,
well done to Kathy Keig for being awarded 'Supporter of the Season', she
deserved it. Eddieparkend COYB.
(30/04/06) Make Big Dunc Manager GET DAVID MOYES OUT OF OUR FOOTBALL CLUB. TELL HIM TO HIRE A BUS AND TAKE NAYSMITH, WEIR, DAVIES, WRIGHT, PISTONE, STUBBS, WITH HIM. If THIS THING WITH MATTEO FERRARI IS TRUE THEN MOYES NEEDS A BULLET. GET RID OF THE LOT OF THEM. Team
to start this weekend. If fit: Turner, Valente, Ferrari, Yobo, Hibbert,
Van der Meyde, Neville, Arteta, Osman, Cahill, Beattie. Number 9 First
of all I would like to see if it is a record that a clubs number 9 hasn't
scored not for just one season but 2 seasons. Mostly due to lack of appearances
but also a lack of service from our 2 non flying wingers Kilbane and Davies.
Ferrari People say too many players spit their dummies out the pram because they're not in the team or on the bench. Sometimes you have to agree, I also saw Mr Ferrari leave in the manner he did. Davie Moyes has to understand sometimes. Nothing against Stubbsy or Davie Weir. Those boys haven't got long left to play. Whereas Mattero has a few more. We are short of players and we need to keep the best. With Matteo walking away and some stories say back home. We can't get players at home so Europe is are only chance. Word does get around and it's true. Amanda Gill. (30/04/06) What is really going on at Everton? As
the season comes to an end, I ponder as to why I continue to support the
Blues. My answer comes back strongly, because I have always done so and
as the saying goes once a blue always a blue is correct. I also pondered
why Mat Ferrari was not playing on Saturday, given good reports on his
game last week even if we did lose. I then read a report on your site
about the incident regarding Ferrari, and I continue to look back at other
"strange" decisions by David Moyes throughout the season. My
initial thoughts are he is the manager therefore it is his decision who
he leaves out or puts into the team. But now his decisions and methods
are starting to become extremely puzzling to say the least. Not Good Enough HISTORY..
Unfortunately Mr. Kenwright has managed to make this word the symbol both
inside and outside Goodison and it clouds the reality - LET'S STOP HIDING
AND FACE THE TRUTH - WE ALL WANT A FUTURE TO LOOK FORWARD TO, stop looking
backwards. We are currently going nowhere - we see 2 or 3 good matches
a season if we're lucky!! Moyes Out I am a 46year old blue, so I have seen one great side and couple of decent ones, but I can say without fear of being wrong that with David Moyes in charge, we will never see the likes again, the man is totally inept. His signing are at best poor. He has no man management skills, and worse of all he thinks McFadden is a good player, when we all know he is shite. He is also starting to talk crap. He said we played well against the brum. Well I must have nodded off for them two minutes, because all I saw was a team with no idea how to beat a piss poor almost relegated side. The likes of Hibbert, Osman, Kilbane, Wright, Weir, Davies and in my opinion Beattie are just not good enough. We need six quality players, but have we got the money? I don't think so and if we did would you trust Moyes with it? No way. He needs to look at that team and know he is not the man to take us any further. So please Mr Moyes FUCK OFF. Paul Wilkinson. (30/04/06) What Do You Think? Have your say! e-mail info@bluekipper.com |
