City Council

sorry lads had a few ....as you do! but can we all ask Liverpool council why the fuck were Everton fc knocked back on Stanley park 5 years ago to build a new stadium and the shite were giving the go a head this week? I want Liverpool council to publicly explain to all Evertonians why they have come to this conclusion, and why are the kopite council bending over backwards for the red shite. Just a thought. Terry Reynolds (11/09/06)

Derby Heaven

I am living in exile in South West Wales surrounded by redshite supporters but today Everton have put me in blue heaven with the best win at Goodison in my lifetime. Long may it continue and we really are worth ten of them. Chris W. (11/09/06)

MOTD

Normally I wouldn't have a bad word said against MOTD, it's a British institution and one of my favourite programmes. However, after just
watching us thrash the shite i was then angered by ex-shite players Hansen and Lawrenson offer 'punditary'. All they would talk about was the lack of pace the shite had and the proceeded to go on about how they defended shit rather than us playing well. Apart from a 20 second mention of AJ the whole chat was about the shite.

I never normally write to people such as yourselves complaining about pundits on television. I am though dead angry, that the day we play the shite off the park, get an incredible result and, for a time, go top of the Premiership, all the ex-gobshites could go on about was how one of their
spanish shitbags got a ball in the face twice in his debut derby. Warren Doyle. (11/09/06)

We Are Back

The difference from last year is winning, We will only get better, The skies have opened the sun is shinning,The Boys have proven with a lot of patience that we can get back to were we belong. Thank you Moyes and Company. John Lea. (11/09/06)

Shouting Everton All Over The Country

This is in response to Kevin Latham's e-mail of 07/09/06 and while I agree with most of the comments he made about the Red Shite I wonder about his comments regarding "fans from outside the city" supporting their football team and how this affects the Everton fans from outside Liverpool. My dad's side of the family are from Liverpool (all blues) but I have lived in London all my life. Now I'll put one thing straight. I was born a blue and will remain a blue for the remainder of my days on this blue planet! I prefer to say that I am genetically perfect but have always been
environmentally misplaced!!

My question to you Kevin is this - taking into account what I have said above, does this make me any less of an Evertonian then you???

I understand your comments were directed at red shite supporters and I agree that particularly when I was growing up a lot of the people around
were supporting the likes of the Red Shite and Manure based on how well they were playing at that time. With the exception of the mid 80's us
blues have not had much to cheer about but despite this I have always kept my faith in my team regardless of where I have been living and as you can imagine I have been in face of this adversity all my life. Given all this nothing has EVER swayed my loyalty to this club!! I have always been proud to say that I am an Everton fan.

If I was anything of a 'glory hunter' given our success over the last 15 years surely it would have better to support someone else!

Evertonians reach right across the globe but because they can't get to every game or because they can't do a bit of shopping in Liverpool they are not fans?? These worldwide fans read this site and sometimes you can hardly blame them for not wanting to come back after reading comments people like you make about non-liverpudlians. We should be grateful that they are raising the name of EVERTON in their own towns!! I certainly do!!

I understand that this e-mail seems to pick on the comments made by Mr Latham but he is not the first to make these sort of comments on this site (which is the best site out there by the way). Drury. (11/09/06)

Spot On

With reference to Kevin Latham's email from 07/09/06 I would just like to say...... KEVIN I LOVE YOU! Couldn't have put it better myself. Vicky Murphy. (11/09/06)

Dancing Blues Fans

I rang my mate when the 3rd goal went in. He was pissing himself laughing saying "look at Reina", when they showed the replay. Then to rub salt into their wound the camera went on a load of blues fans dancing around a reds fan, the pair of us just could not contain ourselves. Just so fucking good! David Lydiate. (11/09/06)

Calling Evertonians In Beijing

I'm an English guy in Beijing. Big Everton fan who was heartbroken to be wanderng the streets of Beijing for hours before and during the derby and had to settle for following the game by text message. I was hoping you could put me in touch with any Beijing Blues who might be able to tell me where to watch games and if anyone wants to meet up and stick it to the redshite. cheers, Geoff. (11/09/06)

Dixie Dean

What a fabulous insight into the accomplishments of this amazing football legend, Dixie Dean...I only looked him up because I am selling something on eBay with his name attached to it. I felt I was at every match as you passionately described every moment...I could hear the crowds, feel the atmosphere, the cheers, the oooo's and the silences....

I told myself I had read enough but went on to the next paragraph and yet another match. I was left out of breath, heart racing and finally bubbling....

Yes, I am a 61 year 'young' female (pensioner) and just love football...Not particularly any team supporter, just great admiration for the game of football, the players, the managers, trainers and all those involved in its success and the pleasure it give to others....

Well done... well written...informative and witty...it was a pleasure reading your article and now I am going to print it off for my grandson who is an avid Everton supporter....He is one of 6 grandsons, all play for local schoolboy teams, and all but two support different teams...it can be difficult sometimes!

I have stopped bubbling now so ! am off to put the kettle on..Just had to let you know my thoughts.....You should write a book and include more about you father too...Could be a best seller!!! Best wishes and kind regards, Pamela. (11/09/06)

Wait Until We Play Some Good Teams

A great start to the season after four games, but don't let's get carried away. When we've played some of the better teams we will have more of an idea. Peter Hall. (11/09/06)

School Days

In 1974 I went to the big school (Fisher Moore, Widnes) me and my best friend Paul Washington were the only blues in the year. We went to the game. They didn't. Were all laughing at Everton (HA,HA,HA,HA) for 5 years. Clive Thomas, Faircloughs last minute winner at Anafield everything went wrong. It was horrible. My kids love Everton I have told them to go to school and take the piss. EVERTON 3 LIVERPOOL 0,. Arrogant RED SHITE aren't laughing now!! Jay Mullarkey (Warrington). (11/09/06)

Blue Since 1968

I have supported the blues since 1968 although it is not my home town team. I have seen them many times, including at Goddison. Kevin, I am not a shithouse, you fucking bigotted twat. Geoff, Kent. (11/09/06)

Derby Day Nerves

It's 5:20 and today is my Christmas by the end of the derby i'll find out if i'm naughty or nice and if Santa Christ has given me my 3 points

I've just had a dream that Harry Kewell scored against us! I had to check the internet to check he is injured. Thank God he has Septic Arthritis, a bacterial infection in the joints of his left foot! If only it was AIDS, they I wouldn't have to see his fucking house of Cribs again!

I've put me bets on Everton 2-1, Beattie 1st Goal and Arteta to score last. I'll gladly lose all my money for a OG or 1-0 just as long as we win.

If we do win i'd like to Thank all of the religions below

Blues Are In My Heart

Since when do you have to be from Liverpool to support the greatest team in the world? I've supported Everton since I was 6 years old and I live in Bath and in 21 years that support has never wavered. Does that make me a shithouse because at 6 years old I hadn't heard of the mighty Bath City Football Club? The Blues are in my heart and I'm not gonna change and support a shit side just because they're on my doorstep. Try telling all the Blues that travel up with all the supporters clubs like South West Blues or the other fans that travel miles to their spiritual home that they're shithouses, I'm sure you'll find that they're all just as, if not more passionate as you when it comes to Everton. Don't get me wrong, I fucking hate the Red Shite Bastards and can't wait for AJ and Arteta to spank them all round Goodison on Saturday but just have a think about what you're saying. There are Blues all round the world becasue it's the greatest club in the world with the worlds greatest fans. Come on you Blues!!!!!!!!! James Gildersleeve. (09/09/06)

Green Belt

Could anyone please tell me why years ago when Everton enquired about Stanley park as a new site, we were promptly told the park was green belt land which had to remain a park, yet now the shit are after it, they have forgotten all the green belt crap. Anyway if the records are correct Stanley park was give to the children of liverpool and not any council. Thanks Paula, Merseyside. (09/09/06)
