Abel Mercenary

Good riddance Xavier you mercenary bastard, the only good thing that comes of you joining that shower of shite, is that it gives us more ammo to ridicule the scumbags with on a Monday morning. I hope you play as well and as often for them as you did for us. You will look well in the ugliest and most comical bunch of half breeds in the premier league. Steve Enty Winsford. (02/02/02)

judderman sale

I think that everton have got a decent deal from the judderman sale. Not bad for someone who hardly played for us. Hopefully now a few youngsters who want to play for everton might get their chance. I also thought that Peter Clarke adapted well against the villa.
I suppose other people have noticed this but we really need someone to run the midfield and create a bit of creativity from the middle of the park; at the moment we only have gazza and he aint gonna last forever.
Shaun Tite. (02/02/02)

Seeya Yeti!

Good riddance, just like the scab Barmby, we wasted a load of cadburys on. I live in Sweden, and I've seen alot of Tobias Linderoth - what a fuckin swoop that was...he's the future of the Swedish national team... The new Stefan Swartz. Blomquist, Alexandersson, Linderoth..Sweverton. NIL SATIS NISI OPTIMUM.
Bluenose. (02/02/02)

Xavier - Look-A-Like Star

It's good to see him go. He isn't worth the 30k a week he's suggetsed to be on The only time I saw him play any good is when we played the filthy mancs recently. He was putting himself in the shop window cos the game was been televised worldwide. One thing though...as most of the look-alikes are of him...what are we to do now? Danny Kelly. (02/02/02)

disable off to the shite

Why is it whenever we do any transfer dealings with the red shite it has to be linked to how far up the table they finish, why can't we for once just do a straight forward deal if there daft enough to want Santa Xavier they should just cough up, none of this if we get in the champions league we get more or is Walter resigned to losing the three points from the derby match before a ball is kicked. Don't the red shite realise we don't want them to qualify for the champions league. Why doesn't smith give Nick Chadwick a decent run he looks like what we need, then he could use any transfer funds to sign Dave Thompson from Coventry. Smith hasn't got a fucking clue and should have fucked off last year when we lost to tranmere never mind this fucking year. It's funny how the media rallied round him when they would have been crying for anybody else's head.
Regards, Chris Simpson. (02/02/02)

Scarey Xavier

on no' Abel's gone'. its gonna cost me more money to go the game now' everytime he played ' my kids did not want to go' they were dead scared of the funny lookin man..(as they put it )....oh well. is there any chance of us sigin Chadwick from man u' ...Mc Fad. (02/02/02)

Farewell Papa Smurf

So another defection to the shite. Well farewell to you strange bloke. I can't muster up the same hate and animosity for you that I have oozing through my veins for that little judas fucker who sounds like Ashley from Corrie on helium (cunt). Merely a smile at the image forever etched in my mind of Paul Gerard cuffing the Santa look-alike earlier this year, well done Paul but I'm gutted you never did a proper job!
Get this Abel, the fact that you're departure across to shiteville hasn't caused a commotion in the Blue camp should tell you something - you were shite and you won't be missed ( not by this loyal bluenose anyway ).

Loyal, now there's a word: loy·al (loil) adj.
Steadfast in allegiance to one's homeland, government, or sovereign. Faithful to a person, ideal, custom, cause, or duty.
So off you pop with your Gucci kitbag and your bottle of Sun-In, looking for your crock of gold when all you will find is a crock of shite. Its getting to be quite a cartoon land over there with Papa Smurf joining Pinocchio. No wonder we're smirking. Farewell Papa Smurf and mind the Goodison Curse on your way (see messrs Ball, Jeffers and Judas for more info). Blueboy Mark. (01/02/02)

Foreign Blues

Is it just me or does anyone else out there think that the endless procession of foreign mercenaries we have had, has done nothing but damage the club? No sooner are we just about to rip off the shite for another foreign injury prone tosser, and all of a sudden old where`s he gone Pistone starts talking up a move, with an apparent desire to play for a club that is amongst the silverware every year. Look mate you knew we weren't fucking Real Madrid when you signed so what's your point dickhead?? Walter Smith must be applauded for his dealings in the transfer market during his time here. Only the constant being let-down by our foreign brigade, (Nyarko, Gravesen, Bakayoko and now Judderman) has left a sour taste, so lets start thinking differently. Surely now is the time to start blooding our youth with occasional first team run outs, Hibbert, Chadwick, Clarke and Mcloed
could then benefit from playing along side real pros like Weir, Campbell, Watson and in his current mood Gazza. Walter is a good manager and deserves all the support he needs. I only hope in future when transfer funds are made available, he does look no further than our own shores, or to his native Scotland, for players with
a bit of spirit and who will give you 100% week in week out. By the way, are we ever going to get Nyarko officially off our books, and what's the betting Radzinski soon starts making the same noises as Gravesen and Pistone. If you don't want to play for us Piss Off, we have survived without you in the past and will continue to do so in the future. Tommy Coleman. (01/02/02)

Well Done Gezza

What a disgrace! Lets just hope he stays injured like he's done half for half the time at Goodison and also lets hope Jerzy Dudek knocks him out. WELL DONE PAUL GERRARD THAT BLOND HAIRED IDIOT TOTALLY DESERVED TO BE KNOCKED OUT!!!!!! Chris Lee. (01/02/02)

Willing & Abel !

So Papa Smurf has crossed the park - I hope he continues to be the player he was when he wore our colours! Chocolate fireguards and an ashtray on my vespa would be of more use! But I have heard that we are already looking at possible replacements, Clint Hill at Tranmere and Andy Webster at Hearts seem likely lads. This Clint 'Eastwood' kid seems to get stuck in judging by the number of yellow cards he has picked up in the past.
Bring back the 'dogs of war' and send the boil arsed gypo on his way. See you in Feb Abel if you can get that boil lanced ! (Try Tomo's nose!). YORKSHIRE BLUE. (01/02/02)

Abel the Unable

Unable to commit himself - Good riddance to an under achiever. If we got 300,000 for him, it would be a plus. I only want to cheer on the blues who want to play for us. Abel was an average player who like to use the sick-note too often. He was a waste of money! Bring on Hibbert and Clarke! JADD. (01/02/02)

Abel Xavier

As dissapointed as I am that Abel Xavier has decided to turn to the dark side and join the redsh*te, I don't see this as the worst piece of business Everton have pulled off in recent times. My dissapointment is because yet
again a player leaves this club for them and shows a total lack of respect to the fans.
We rarely saw Xavier play, granted at times this season, he and David Weir have looked a good partnership, but how many times in his short Everton career has he been Un-Abel to play due to injury or mysterious illness? Far too many for my liking.

He does possess good skill as a central defender but he is also one of those players that has your heart in your mouth at least once a match. His contribution to Everton has been mediocre at best and I for one would much rather see someone like Stubbs giving his all, not mention the younger players such as Hibbert and Clarke given a long overdue chance. Let the filth have him, if they get more than 20 games a season out of him they'll be lucky and lets face it, he's the stupidest looking f*cker in the league.

Walter has done well, he was going to leave for nothing, screwing £800K out of that shower for him is as good a deal as we could hope for. Bye-bye Abel, if it were any other club I'd wish you well, but in this instance I really
hope your career falls as flat as that other Judas you are following along the path to evil. Call yourself an Evertonian? To the end of time!! Yours. Chris Jacko. (01/02/02)

adios abel

Glad to see the back of the silly blonde tosser anyone who makes a move to the shite has no respect for everton and deserves no respect from the fans. i thought he was shite! good riddence! Bring on the derby and lets give the bastards a whipping. Damien. (30/01/02)

Something Positive

Great piece of news, he was shite when playing in midfield, no better than Tony Hibbert(who I thought played some great passes first half against LO) has been playing in the last week or so at Right Back and no better than Weir and Stubbs, so what a great bit of business to swell the coffers for Walter or to start the Acedemy. All we need now is someone to come back in and take Ferguson off our hands and that'll finish off a great couple of days So something positive to take after a great home draw into the AV game (result not yet known), here's hoping for a point or 3. ToffeeBlue. (30/01/02)

Stop The Habit

Everton seem to be making a habit of selling their best player to their biggest rival. This to me shows that Kenwright and Dunford are not supporters but just business men. Since Bill took over what has he parted with in comparison to other so called chairman/supporter's and does anyone actually know the Kenwright fortune. A real chairman/supporter for me is the likes of the late Jack Walker who threw the lot at Blackburn to turn them in to a club of stature. I have seen nothing from Kenwright to suggest to me that he's the wright man to be calling the shots at Goodison and his real love has spilled into his pet project, acting.
Regards Quinny

Xavier - The New Judas

so now we have a new judas just about to move across the park to that shithole, just gets fucking better doenst it, another decent player we are about to lose because the stupid board wont pay the man, as much as ill hate him if he moves there, how can we be expecting to make a half decent push up the league if we constantly lose good players as the board offer them shite wages compared to other clubs, we lost huchison due to wages, bally as well, now another is on the way, i think its time we questioned the board on their loyalty and their reasons for not paying world class, international level footballers money that they expect. Xaviers stupid if he moves to the shite and i hope he has lots of injuries and fuck all sucess bad luck abe u shithole, you dont realise the crime you'll be committing if you cross the park lad, yours bluely.mike. (30/01/02)

Good Ridence Ewok

wow wot a day, abel joins the shite for £800,000,i dont know if i'll be able to stop laughing for a week, well shite your welcome to him and his boil, lets give clarke a go now and see the true talent at goodison shine through. Candyman. (30/01/02)

Club is an Insult to Loyal Fans

I am just writing to you because I am outraged by the sell of Xavier to the shites of all people. This club is constantly letting the fans down and as far as I am concerned I am sick of it. The same old story year in year out and I think they just do it to take the piss really. Xavier is going Wednesday, Pistone is in hot pursuit of him and Gravsen is not too far behind unfortunatly. Duncan is a lazy shite and the rest are lazy f***s who forget just how much they are getting paid a week to play for this club. Simmonsen, Weir and Gasgoine are the only ones who are half way trying their hearts out. I am sick of stupid transfers in and out of our club and also the same old second is best attitude. I can not see this once great club staying in the top flight for two many more years. I was at the goodison tour on Sunday and I think the players need to go on this themselves to listen to how passionate Dave hickson is about our wonderful club and how grateful he is to have scored 111 goals for us in his time, a trully warm and friendly Everton great. Anyway I will conclude by just saying I hope things get better and we keep the good FA Cup run going(fingers crossed) and maybe the Everton fans might get their just deserves for once (ye right), Bring back the good times Blues Brother1 (aka dec). (30/01/02)

Contract should have been sorted A year AGO

I'm not particularly bothered about xavier going to Liverpool. If you look at the carling opta stats weve lost more games with him, conceded more goals and scored less goals with him in the team. What annoys me is that Everton waited until he could sign a precontractual agreement with someone else before opening contract negotiations. We as a football club are in no position to play such a risky game. It should have been done a year ago and had him sold for more money because money is the bottom line. After all he is an international defender with experience and could have commended a high transfer fee. Evertons actions are that of a club who doesnt suffer from a crippling overdraft which we all know is not the case. The same way as Saturday when EFC had to turn away £ Thousands because of a complete cock up, weve missed out on a more substantial transfer fee and sold a versatile player to our arch rivals again. Dave Currie. (30/01/02)

Xavier New All Along

If you listen carefully to his Sky interview, or was it Gazzas interview Hahahaha, he says " I would like to thank all the people at Everton and at Liverpool....." Does this mean he had already decided to defect? Plus I heard that he is always at Netto, sorry anfield, for their games. Martin. (30/01/02)

Tickets fiasco......part..far too many !

Kipper Boys, fans, my mates, and finally myself knew exactly what would happen, and yes, ...it did. The really sad thing about it, is the fact the none of us are surprised by the outcome anymore. What odds would a bookies outside the city have given us when presented with the scenario we had, with us predicting the outcome. Then think what odds the same scenario would have been offered by a bookie in this city. Exactly. If we are to believe what Ian Macdonald said, and I have no reason to doubt his word, Kenwright has already stated that he can't be in two places at once, and having listened to his interview, he is still as passionate as ever and working 24/7 for us......for the future stability of the club. Fantastic. And I now, hand on heart, truly believe in the vision for the future (well until the next cock up). But here lies the problem. Just who the fuck is running the club on a day to day basis these days. And how many blues have forgotten that Mr.Carter is actually the club Chairman. A man held in the highest of regards for standing by HK, but when I listened to Bills interview it seemed pretty plain to me that when all the talk about Walter having three games to save his job, Bill joked that he told Walter that he was being forced to announce that he would have to give him the dreaded vote of confidence. Excuse me, isn't that the job of the Chairman ? So, what is the current role of Mr. C ? and does he wield any influence. If not, give him a lifetimes peerage or whatever, Bill takes top job, and puts someone in as deputy who can run the fucking show while he begs for the dough. Is Dumbford that arrogant that this will be allowed to go away ? and what action will be taken ?
Just for the record, I'd been going on about us season ticket holders position and, like the rest uf us, the chaos that would ensue, and then thought, yeah, but I'll still queue for an hour in the fucking rain with the rest of the mugs, because you never gave us an option, and you know I'll turn up anyway BECAUSE I am a season ticket holder. Well fuck them, I chose to stay away. Yes I know, bitten off nose to spite face etc., but if I'd have been locked out, I'd have been a tad angry to say the least. Sod's law that one of the finest footballers ever to grace the Goodison turf provided an exhibition of football that I've been waiting to see since I saw him tear the back out of us on a cold midweek match as a kid for the mags, and I'm not there to see it. Why ? Because I'm pissed off at being treated like a child with no respect. We have your money, now do as you're told. Well fuck you. I just may have to review my finances next June, and maybe chose to go to the top games. Well it does seem that so far this season, far from being a perk to be a season ticket holder, it has in fact been a punishment.
I'm gutted that I missed Gazza's display, and I'll be back in my seat, but I plead to the club to get someone, anyone, who understands the mentality of a football fan involved in the matchday preparations. There's fucking enough of us !!! Even if it's on a purely advisory capacity, there would be enough genuine volunteers who wouldn't even expect payment ! It would be a privilege and an honour. Park End Bill. (28/01/02)

Everton ticket situation a total DISGRACE!

I am a season ticket holder at Everton football club my this ticket cost me nearly £400, at this moment (4.19pm) i am at home while everton are beating leyton orient 3-1. The reason I am at home is because I was locked out of Goodison park at approximately 2.45PM this afternoon. This after standing in a queue for 20 minutes. You may be thinking why did you not get your season ticket seat? well the answer.. SEASON TICKET HOLDERS WERE NOT OFFERED THEIR OWN SEAT OR EVEN PRIORITY ON ANY TICKETS!
Just to ad insult to injury...on the 12th of January at five o'clock I found myself in a queue for tickets for spurs away and leyton orient at home for the FA cup. Whilst standing in this queue an announcer came over the
tannoy an said “for all supporters queuing for leyton orient tickets, there is no need to stand in the cold for FA cup tickets against leyton orient as most turnstiles will be pay on the gate...so do yourselves a favour and
go home out of the cold“ now I find that there are still hundreds if not thousands of seats left inside the ground, our capacity is 41,000 and the expected attendance is around 35,000. This means there is 5-6,000 seats left available in the ground. a club of Everton's size supposedly 20,000,000 in debt could have organised this a lot better, Everton fc would have benefited substantially from the 5,000 that were locked out. When the turnstiles were closed I was fourth from the front, also the police were busy at the back of the queue while over 10 people cut into the front and got in! it was only when I brought it to the attention of the steward that anything was done about it, I have been to every home game and every away game this season. EVERTON F.C. PLC WILL NOT BE GETTING ANY MORE OF MY MONEY, I WILL NOT BE ATTENDING ANY MORE AWAY GAMES THIS SEASON... THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE, SOMETHING SHOULD BE DONE... WE WANT ANSWERS AND APOLOGIES... EVERTON FOOTBALL CLUB HAVE JUST LOST ONE OF THEIR MOST LOYAL SUPPORTERS, NO DOUBT MANY MORE WILL FOLLOW! John N. (27/01/02)
This is a copy of an e-mail sent to Bill Kenwright.
What do you think? Where you locked out? e-mail Blue Kipper

Roll on The Next Round

All this whinging about unreserved seating obviously doesn't come from anyone with season tickets in the Upper Bullens where we get turfed out every cup game to make room for the away support. This leaves us with the back of Bullens in the corner or restricted view (well they all are, aren't they?) in the main stand. Yesterday we got good seats, wrong end for the own goal but at least we saw it! Here's to Walsall at home and more unreserved seating in the next round! Ian W. (27/01/02)

The Board Pissing us off

Morning Kippers. Are the Everton board deliberately trying to piss off all everton season ticket holders which I have been for many years in the Bullens Road .Not only are they reducing somewhat low-key games (Derby County) to £10 a ticket and not giving anything back to us loyal supporters, they won't even let us have are own bloody seats for a cup tie. It is an absolute disgrace. Surely the board and the club should give us some form of reward for the support we have shown over the last few years. We as season ticket holders seem to be the scum of the earth to the club when it is us they should be rewarding for sitting there week in week out with our hearts in our mouths and returning every home game for the same again.
It is about time the Board sat up and took some notice and gave us something back instead of just taking (the piss usually) all the time. A very bitter Evertonian who made the gate yesterday by 5mins. Leeann. (27/01/02)
