We Shall Not Be Moved What the hell is going on? When I started supporting the blues in the sixties the Everton anthem was "we shall not be moved". why don't we ever sing this? To make it worse those gobshites sing it now. It is like us singing "you'll never walk alone". We shall not be moved is OUR song. "WE SHALL NOT BE MOVED. JUST LIKE A TEAM THAT'S GOING TO WIN THE FA CUP. WE SHALL NOT BE MOVED." Clive Edwards World Class Dear kippers. Everton Geoff's email re our lack of world class players and the fact that we "need" to be taken over by a rich sugar daddy really pissed me off. In itself its probably irrational to get so annoyed about points that others have made in different forms and on many occasions. However, he must have a very short memory remember hamper man? He was going to be our last sugar daddy and look what happened to us. Bill Kenwright may be many things but he is an Evertonian and he ( I believe ) has the best interests of this club at heart. He hasn't got the level of finance of certain clubs and we are not likely to get it. So step forward mr saviour. Where are you? Is Jo Yobo not an international is AJ not world class is Tim Howard not an international keeper ? Is it beyond us to produce " world class " players. It depends I suppose what you mean by world class. I think established internationals will do as a definition. Vaughany and Vic are I believe potential "world class" players. Andy Shandy - flamboyant dutch Inter reject lands in speke. spends most of his time injured and don't forget " he isn't used to drinking non alcoholic drinks". By the crowds reaction to his warming up you would think he was the new Pele. He has been shit and don't tell me that one or two games means it was Moyes's fault for not playing him enough. If he was good enough he would have played..........He is shit and he should go. Kevin Byrne. (13/04/07) Everton Shirts I unfortunately live down south as well in the east end in a street believe it or not called john barnes walk! (none of my family will talk to me or even visit me). I have the same problems that the fella in Colchester has in respect of kits and such like. So I have to get the stuff for my mad Evertonian son through the club shop. However on reflection I don’t mind this as I don’t want my beloved blues to become another cockney side like the mancs or the shite cos all the ones down my way who support them are f…… knobheads! Everton are a scouse club and long may it continue and anyway is there anyone out there who is surprised by the total ineptitude's who run our great club! Shit address John. (13/04/07) Weston Spirit I've got a signed Everton shirt on ebay at the moment to raise money for the Weston Spirit charity. I took part in the NY marathon last year and still have a bit of fundraising to finish off. The link for the page is Everton Shirt On ebay Thanks for your help. Joanne Dobbie. (13/04/07) Car Parking Does anyone know what arrangement have been made for parking, once Stanley Car Park has gone? We travel down the East Lancs road and have no idea were we are going to park next season. No one seems to know anything. Regards, Gillian. (13/04/07) Hunt The Everton Stuff At JJB Just
a quick follow up as regards Gwladys and Martyn's E-mails concerning
our merchandiser JJB sports. Went into Kendal store and Morecambe store
to check out what was going on. When JJb first became merchandisers
for us the store in Morecambe had a stand with kits, footballs sports
cups and a few other things all proudly sporting the crest. Think this
lasted approx 3-6 months and was replaced with not only a Shite one
but also a friggin Chelski one!!! On asking the staff they had said
they had sold out of shirts and might be able to get some in soon, they
had no idea where the stand with other things had gone. Well, there we are, heading nicely for a European place so all dusting off our passports, when the big bad world of football robs us of our two 18 year old starlets in the space of two games. So what next..... Does Moyes stick with 4-4-2 and bring in the 6 million pound benchwarmer, or do we just go with AJ up front on his own and hope that Manny Fernandes is fit for the Addicks game ?? Personally, i`d play the 4-5-1 and leave Beattie on the bench, he`d probably be more use there helping Basil Rathbone with his magic sponge and bucket than running round up front trying to flick balls into no-mans land. Bastard piss fuck shit wank bollocks.......lets not fuck it up now, if we were 10th, then seventh would be good.....but we`re not. If Beattie plays and proves to us all that he really CAN`T hit a pigs arse with a banjo, then we`re doomed I say.....doomed. Over to Mr Moyes for the answer.............. COYB !!! Fish (13/04/07) Two Tackles No game is easy against Allerdyce's team, and I thought we coped fairly well, considering the physical presence of most of Bolton's side. The game was about two tackles, one innocent the other a violent attack on Phil Neville, how the referee and his assistant( who would not look out of place playing BLIND PEW) missed the tackle and the two deliberate handballs in the first twenty minutes. The news that Vaughan, maybe back quicker than we first feared, is a bonus, because he is like a breath of fresh air,and the finish, after good work by Osman was spot on. What a surprise, that Allerdyce only saw a shove by BEEFY Osman on the lightweight Speed, to moan about, lets hope that Arsenal get back to winning ways next week and put the skids under Bolton. Norman Merrill. (13/04/07) Ugly Bolton Bolton...ugliest team I've ever seen, how anyone could watch that shite week in, week out i'll never know. Very difficult to play any football against a team who don't want to play, so a good point. We now need minimum 4 points from the next 2 games. Fingers crossed for Vaughan. Lee G. (13/04/07) Up The Blues My team is Olympiacos but in UK is only one team for me and that is Everton. Since I was 8 for some reason I chose to be a fan of EVERTON and I'm so glad for that. I watch every game of our team if it is possible of course, because I live in Greece. Anyway I just wanted to say that if we were more careful in some games, it would be easy to be in the top 4 of the league. We need 2-3 good players. Then we will be one of the best teams in league. It was nice to contact for a first time. PS:Mikel is a fantastic player!!! Dimitris from Greece. (10/04/07) Credit For Moyes The thing is who would you like to be manager? Moyesy thank you. The fucwits of the past were taking us on a ride to hell. Would you believe for a small club we have sold a great player, bought four players from the proceeds. Thank you Mr Moyes for given us hope for the future. COYB. John Lea. (10/04/07) Carsley Is A Hero I'd just like to say that Lee Carsley is a hero. He kept it together last nite vs Fulham and he was the key to the win. Mikky Arteta and Roger were descent aswell. Oconnor. (10/04/07) Why McFadden? There
seems to be a sense of rejoicing at the return of James McUseless. May
I ask why this is ? The
trouble is we've only got 2 world class players, Mikky and Roger. AJ
will come good but after a blinding start he's off the boil now. Manny
has also got promise, but the rest of them are frankly only competent
journeymen who wouldn't get a look in in the top 4 sides. Now I've got
a lot of time for Moyesy. I think he's done cracking given the limited
cash. Okay he's made some cock ups like buying that lummox Biffa and
his tactics in the Spurs game, but generally the boys done good. It's
a pity we haven't seen more of Shandy. He's got class and all, but Ok
the boy likes a beer but they should have played him more and now he'll
be off. Just
read the email from Gwladys (04/04/07)
and thought that you'd like to know that he problem is just as bad down
south! What Do You Think? Have your say! e-mail info@bluekipper.com |
