Great Trip Just thought I would drop you a short note, to say how much my son and myself enjoyed ourselves in Nuremburg, very well organised and far better than the organised official trips, which we have been on before. In future we shall only travel with Bluekipper. Yours in Blue. John and Kevin Steadman. (19/11/07) Nuremberg Best Time Of My Life I
went to the Nuremburg game it was my first away game with the blue to
Europe and what a game, the whole two days was special from start to
finish. Everyone told me not to go because there would be fighting,
with my reply (we’re Blues not the red shite) and the best thing was
we won in style and we all showed them red B’s how to behave. Thank
you to everyone that went, I can honestly say it was the best time of
my life. Elm House Flag Another flag went walkies in Nuremberg. Anyone got it contact AJ via the site. AJ (19/11/07) Lost Flag The rather large flag ‘MAD DOGS AND AN ENGLISH MAN’ was lost during the trip. I reckon the beer had something to do with it. If any one has seen it or is in possession of it, keep it safe or return it to me. By far the biggest flag I saw over there but I had the misfortune of not getting it to the ground. Maybe it’ll turn up in Holland. Cheers, Spirit of the Blues. Gwyn Thompson. (19/11/07) Nuremberg Trip Firstly
a great big thanks to the Bluekipper crew for such a great trip. It
was the first ever European for my daughter Leanne and myself. The organisation
from start to finish was absolutely spot on. This
is a link from a German news site. Click on video. It's Quality. Brian
Kelly. (19/11/07) Thanks For The Trip Nurnberg away. Thanks for all your hard work lads and see you on the next trip. Andy, Kate and Jimmy. (19/11/07) Davey Moyes (snr) As if things couldn't get better. While in Finnegans Irish bar in Nurnberg, who casually walks in from over at the team hotel (opposite), only Davey Moyes (snr). None of us could believe it! I had a good chat with Mr. Moyes (sorry Mr. Moyes....I meant Davey (got told to call him Davey you see. Doesn't like the Mr. Moyes thing it would seem) and he signed 4 shirts before he left for the hotel again. Just before he left he gave a few of us 40 euro's to buy a drink. What an honour to meet a top Dad of a top Gaffer. Many thanks Davey. Big Tommy from Litherland. (14/11/07) See You In Holland The Fearns family and friends at last being able to share as a family after the g, dogs stories for 66 onwards we all had to give it a go. The young being daz aged 22 the oldest being g. dog fearns at a young 70. Enjoy one and all. Thanks to all at bluekipper and especially Sausage for all you help and one hell of a trip. See you in Holland. g.dog and family and friends. aka boys on tour. (14/11/07) What a fantastic night it just shows you what an appetite Evertonians
have for European football. To think this is just the group stage of
the tournament. The fans were unbelievable thousands of them to use
Moyseys word awesome! cant wait for the knockout stages especially at
Goodison. Well done both fans and players alike. COME ON THE BLUE BOYS!!!
Janet.
(14/11/07) See You On The Next Trip I'd just like to thank everyone at Blue Kipper for organising such a great trip to Nuremberg. It was our first trip to europe to watch the blues and it was a perfect day. Hopefully we'll see you on the next trip! COYB. Luv Kate. (14/11/07) Nuremberg Days Happy days,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, -
Seeing every Evertonian getting a ticket for the game
Legends Were Great Great idea to bring Dave Watson and Joe Parkinson. I booked Joe for 'Paul Mac's Night'. Tommy The Winmill Kirkby. (14/11/07) Speeding Thanks guys for a great trip. Everything was well organised from start to finish pity the club don't get you to run the official trips. Only bad news was getting a speeding ticket on the way home. John from Clitheroe. (14/11/07) Great Time Just wanted to say thanx for the trip. Me and my 3 mates had a great time. Thanx again. Diver and the boys. (14/11/07) We'll Go Again Thank you for a wonderful day from start to finish - very well organised - Will go again with Blue Kipper---- enjoyed Waggy and the Pieman.... Graham Donnelly. (14/11/07) The Best Bit Just got back. What a fantastic couple of days that was. The best bit for me was in one of the beer tents outside the ground, when a dj pops up from somewhere and opens proceedings with 'You'll Never Walk Alone'. A couple of our boys strongly suggested to him that he should take it off immediately, which he wisely agreed to. Follow, follow.... David Whitehill. (14/11/07) Dave Watson The Pied Piper Boys, I’d just like to thank you for an excellent and well organised trip yesterday. Dave Watson’s pied piper routine with 100 Everton fans following him through the centre of Nurnberg whilst we looked for O’Sheas was hilarious. Although we couldn’t have the Q&A, our Blue heroes took the time to go round the pub and have photos taken with everyone. I’ll send mine to you some time over the weekend. I was in Block 21 of the ground, right at the front next to the corner flag surrounded by Germans. They were absolutely fine and shook my hand before leaving. All the blues in this section made their way to the front as we banged on the metal fencing and made our presence felt. Brilliant. Thanks once again, it must be hard to organise when all you wanna do is get drunk like the rest of us. Cheers. Mick Hoban (14/11/07) Letter To Daily Mail Also, you may be interested in the attached, which I’ve sent to Rotweiller journalist (and Spurs fan) Richard Littlejohn of the Daily Mail. You’ll notice you get a big plug! Richard. Thought you might like to hear how our wonderful police are now employed. Yesterday I went to Nurnberg to watch Everton win their UEFA tie. Yes I know you were more interested in things going on in Israel but bear with me. Somebody in UEFA categorised it as “high risk” as Nurnberg were openly selling tickets to Evertonians, so they forced them to be cancelled. Having already forked out £299 for an excellently organised daytrip by the website Bluekipper, I paid a tout £75 for a 12 Euro ticket. When there, I found out that the German club simply sold all the cancelled tickets from their club shop. To Evertonians. Class. There were estimates of up to 10,000 fans in the City. We spent 7 hours drinking, partying and having a great time. Throughout this, their excellent police kept a watchful eye on us, but kept their distance as getting “merry” isn’t a crime. At one stage several thousand gathered in the square for a singalong and still they kept their discreet distance. We made our way to the stadium and were courteously shown to our section of the stadium. I was sat in the midst of German fans with whom we had a laugh with. (The first time I’ve used “German” and “laugh” in the same sentence). Not once did a steward or the armed police intervene in our raucous banter. Despite the final 10 minutes getting the better of me as I celebrated wildly, the fans around me shook my hand and wished me well. We walked back to our coaches, singing wildly and not one policeman intervened. Again it’s not a crime. Fast forward to 2:30 am, GMT, and our plane full of sleepy, but happy fans lands at Liverpool John Lennon airport. We couldn’t get off the plane for 30 mins as we had to wait for a police surveillance van to park itself at the foot of the steps and film us all getting off the plane, whilst two of our finest officers glared you down from the doorway at the top of the steps. The most intimidated I’d been all day. Since when is it a crime to get off a plane ? Why am I being filmed ? Makes you proud to be British. Mick Hoban. (14/11/07) Hats Off To You All the Blue Kipper/Philosophi team. Just wanted to say a big thank you for a fantastic day. I did not realise until yesterday the amount of work you lads put in to organising it - hats off to you - a job more than well done. Michael was on 'cloud nine' from the minute he got to the airport until we got we home and it was great that you all made him feel 'one of the lads'. I'm sure it will be a day he will never forget - beer intake permitting. Hopefully there are more European adventures to come. Thanks again . Guy & Michael Stanley. (14/11/07) The Trip Ran Like Clockwork! Morning guys. Great trip although still feeling the effects. Thanks once again for organising a brilliant trip. It ran like clockwork! coyb. Steven Meyerhoff. (14/11/07) Missing Banner Dear blue kipper, me and my friends brought a big banner over to Nurenberg, with a picture of my friend who recently died you may have seen it. It had Everton fc along the top a picture of my friend in the middle and you're in my heart your in my soul at the sides. We were sitting in the north stand with Nurenberg's ultras and got advised not to bring it in with us. We asked an Evertonian if he would take it in to the Everton end for us, he kindly did but had to leave it because he had food poisoning and had to leave the ground. Could you put a request out for me please to see if anyone picked it up and if they did to contact me on 07824367123 this means so much to us, thank you very much for your help.AKen. (14/11/07) Great Day Thanks for a great day, it will live long in the memory. Cheers Lads, Paul. (14/11/07) Kipper's On Nuremberg Trip Hi Guy's just a line to say many thanks for the excellent trip, brilliant organisation. friendly companionship and above all great result. Please see attached pictures - we may only be a small village but the "Malpas Boys" were well on Tour! Stevie Dee - the guy with Waggy was explaining that he actually sponsored the Match Ball when he scored that Goal! Once again many thanks. Full marks to you all. Dave P, Stevie Dee, JB ,Cap and Ed. (14/11/07) Great Trip Great trip! Dave and Joe were great talking to the fans and posing for pictures roll on Alkmaar! Outside O'Shea's the strangely dressed lad was a german lad who became our unofficial guide and even came to see us at full time to say goodbye and swap scarf's. Thanks again. Joe and Rod. (14/11/07) Nuremberg Tickets First of all, thanks a million for the warning on the tickets, well done as I did not find out this from anywhere else and it was early enough to do something to sort out the problem. Thanks to you I rang FC Nurnberg, got a very friendly girl to sort out the tickets at the ticket office. Bottom line is that I used a friend’s address in Germany to buy the tickets, and then my friend will give me a note to say I can collect the tickets on his behalf at the ground. According to the Miss Nurnberg at the ticket office this is cleared with the Nurnberg security and UEFA. In fairness to Miss Nurnberg (who even rang me back to sort out the problem) she was sorry that UEFA made this decision and it was very difficult for them to manage and disappointing for the fans. Maybe this is useful for others in the same situation. Rob. (10/11/07) UEFA Correction Could
I please point out an error in the statement released by UEFA! These tickets will be dispersed all around the ground, I had a German tout phone me, wanted me to buy 100 - 150 tickets behind the goal 'At the Nuremberg end!' Since I didn't fancy being on 'News at Ten' I declined! Call me physic, but I know that all these
tickets will get into evertonian hands aswell as thousands others! Unfortunately the losers will be Everton fans who though they were buying tickets responsibly, Nuremberg police and officials at Everton Football Club, who would have had prior knowledge of what Uefa were going to do and worked hard behind the scenes to A) overturn this decision, B) fight for reimbursement of travel costs for fellow blues at the 'peoples club' whilst reminding UEFA that it is these people who pay their wages. Just in case there is anybody out there with an IQ of below 2, the 3rd one 'Everton Football Club' I was being sarcastic! Top Balcony. (08/11/07) If you're off on your European tour this week, PLEASE REMEMBER we are Everton Football Club. Distance yourself from the worst fans in Europe. Let the people of Nurnberg know who we are and what we are about. We are Everton Football Club. Enjoy your day. Gwladys. (08/11/07) Inflated Ticket Prices I am a mother of a blues fan going to nuremburg who had purchased his ticket through the box office in germany. He is still going even without his ticket as I am sure thousands of others will do. He got a phone call though to say he could buy tickets that a liverpool tout or should I say scumbag was selling for £60.00. Luckily enough he had the good sense to say I am not paying £60.00 for a £10.00 ticket but he said there are loads who would pay it. When are you football fans going to learn if you keep buying these tickets at inflated prices there will always be a market for them. What I am also incensed about is that genuine football fans deal with these scumbags and generate more sales for them making their job easier. Someone somewhere has to make a stand. I am probably being very naive but I am really upset about this and I am also going to write to fifa who have caused the problems in the first place as hundred of other fans should do. Good Luck to all the fans travelling. A concerned mum. (08/11/07) What Do You Think? Have your say! e-mail info@bluekipper.com e-mails index New Stadium - The Fans Views |
