We have had over 200 e-mails over the last few days. We can't use them all. Some of them were written as events unfolded. Below is a Full Page of Your views on the sacking of Smith & the beginning of the Moyes Era

Change

I have just read that Sir Alex of Gold Trafford may be looking to offer Walter the number 2 job at Man Utd. Brilliant! this means we could see Beckham at centre half or Giggs at right back, who knows maybe even Keane on The left wing!

All the so called experts who have been questioning the sacking of Smith, clearly have not been to Goodison too often lately have they? Only snag is Archie has still got a job at the moment, and if he picks the team for tomorrow we could still end up with Gemmill instead of Gravesen, and dare I say it, even the blonde fraudster might get another opportunity to ponce around in the mid afternoon sun.

We can only hope Moyes has enough time to do something this season, if not we need to give him our full support and backing if we do go down.

Lets get behind the team tomorrow and get in full voice for a change, we need to let him know he has made the right decision. I promise I will try not to Boo at Ferguson, Gemmill or Alexanderrson, so if I can do it anyone can! COME ON YOU BLUES Tom Coleman. (21/03/02)

David who?

Does anyone honestly think that the likes of Gazza, Ginola, Duncan Ferguson and that big dope Kevin Campbell are going to respect David Moyes? I don't!! They'll laugh at him! He's a nobody who's done nothing!
I think it's ridiculous that Everton want him as new manager! We need George Graham! or someone like him to kick players arses! Kenwright you've got a screw loose!
Norman Brown. (21/03/02)

Next 9 games...

I certainly think they Moyes is a good bet going forward next year but not convinced he is the man for the last nine games. Although I don't think Walter was the man for that crucial period anyway. Daft as it may sound, I wouldn't have minded doing a Middlesboro and getting Veneables on a short term deal that payed big money only if we stayed up. Being a TV pundit (and a proven good coach) he has the inside knowledge of all the players and all the teams and tactics we will be facing in the premier whereas Moyes probably doesn't have that "premier knowledge" at this moment.Eddy Tosney. Attention all fellow Evertonians.

Please post this on your site before Saturday, thanks.(Opps!) have a request. I urge you all to get behind our
beloved club this Saturday at home to Fulham and also for the remanding games of the season and make
whatever new manger we get very welcome. We have lacked greatly in our support for the team at home
this season and the chanting of songs young and old just does not happen any more. I feel the lads just
need a lift form the home crowd just to know that we are right behind them from now till the end of this
season and all top flight seasons to come as well. I know it is hard to cheer at the moment 'cause there is little to cheer about, apart form the Hun and his sidekick been sacked, but shit or not shit it is our
club. I for one feel they need to hear our support, especially at home in Goodison. When you feel it is hard to sing, cheer or support them think of the Dean's, labone, Royle, Gray, Reid and of course the golden vision with a tear in his eye when he heard the Z-cars tune at his testimonial. These reasons for loving the club so much, which will forever stick in my mind. These are the main reasons for getting behind the team this Saturday because our Club in all its glory throughout the years does NOT belong away from the top flight and this should be made clear to all Evertonians. Think of how the red shites will laugh and god forbid, I might even be ashamed to wear the colour? Let's hope that day will never arive! Let us be heard that were here to stay. And if you know your history………………….. Blues Brother 1 (Dec). (21/03/02)

We are EVERTON FC

Sitting hear watching the umpteenth TV program (this time Sky Sports with that red shyte Boardman fella) hearing so called Evertonians telling me, a paying punter, how harsh a decision it was to sack Walter Smith, with the same inane excuses, I just want to say that its time to SHUT THE FUCK UP. Its over... WS the man that personally gave me three and a half years of heart rendering and sickening experiences has gone and he ain't coming back. Its time to support your club and in particular BLUE Bill Kenwright. Bill is an EVERTONIAN and although he undoubtedly played a somewhat misguided part in extending Smith's reign he is true to the cause and the club and in particular to me as a supporter. I have heard stories of how this is the club and in particular Bills last throw.. BOLLOCKS I want Bill there through thick and thin, I don't want some suit with no heart or conscience in charge of my club. Mistakes have (and will) be made and it may be too late to save us but this is now firmly in the hands of our players as they will no longer be asked to play Martian formations and out of position (although the main culprit that shit Knox appears to have miraculously survived for the time being? How strange is that!!).

Stop phoning these shows run and fronted by RS commentators and heathens it gives them such a buzz, Boardman looked positively orgasmic as he uttered his incredulous remarks.

Now is the time to say it loud and clear... SUPPORT YOUR CLUB, We have taken it back, lets make sure we recognise our responsibility to present and future Evertonians and do our part to ensure people know we will be a force again...ROM. (21/03/02)

Four years wasted time.

Walter I wanted you to succeed so much The pedigree was right The ten years of winning Now its proven you don't need to much to set the world alight north of the border. My Everton will get over your tenure, Just like we have in the past with others. The memories of 63 keep me sane The crowd chanting Everton Everton The 66 cup Temple goal to send us delirious The signing of Howard and Ball to make a team complete a joy to
watch never reached the pinnacle but that's okay at least we seen Everton play wonderful football we don't ask for much But please if we do go down lets make a team to watch out of the ashes This I ask who ever the manager is to be. John Lea. (21/03/02)

Where's The Money?

OKAY LADS WHAT ABOUT KENWRIGHT WHERES THE MONEY ITS NO GOOD JUST BEING A FAN WE WANT MORE THAN THAT BILL AND QUITE RIGHTLY YOU HAVENT PULLED UP WITH ANY REDS EXCUSE THE PUN I HOPE TO GOD KENWRIGHT THAT YOU PULL UP WITH SOME MONEY SOON AND I DONT MEAN 5 MILL AFTER A FUCKING STUPID REFIANANCING PACKAGE OTHERWISE ITS TIME FOR YOU TO GO IF YOU CANT DO YOUR OWN JOB GET BACK TO CORONATION STREET YES US FANS HAVE HAD MORE THAN ENOUGH OF YOU TOO. S. Boyle. (21/03/02)

Toshack for Boss

I've heard through a someone with contacts at the club that all the Moyes talk is a cover and that they are actually talking to...wait for it... John Toshack. No idea how credible this is. I'd rather have Moyes - he plays football, he organises his teams and he likes young footballers, and we have a lot of good youngsters - but perhaps the club's thinking is about the battle over the next two months. Andy Edwards. (31/03/02)

Walter Sacked

GOOD NEWS what do you think ?? When i was down for the Arsenal game what did i say before the game in the pub about who would be the NEXT Everton manager and my answer was David Moyes !!
What do you think , do you think he is the man or would you like to see someone else ?? I would LOVE Sexy Suzie blue thighs do get it mmmmm she is LOVELY !!!!
David (slugger). Greenock MORTON Evertonian. (31/03/02)

Hold the Front Page!

If it is of any hope to us, I have heard that the printing of the Fulham program has been delayed by the club......possibly no managers page .Keep going good blues remember it could be worse you may have been a red. George Lloyd. (21/03/02)

Were do we go from here...Is it down to the lake I fear?..I I I I I...

, I've been watching the blues since 1963 and this is by far the worst team I have ever seen wear our famous shirts. We have to realise that it's not just Mr Disappointed Twats fault. Everyone of the board was here under the bastard Jhonston. And remember it was the fans demonstrations that got rid of him, it was only then that this shit-house of a board took any action. We have to do the same again and we need sites like Blue Kipper along with others to organise this .what are we waiting for.

One other thing can anybody tell me what Super slow Kevin Shit-house Campbell is good at. If any body else tells me he's strong I'll knock fuck out of them and go and buy a body builder. Why are we so bad, we were even out classed at home by Ipswich, which nobody even seems to care about.

One very sad and disillusioned Evertonian. (21/03/02)

Walter has got to go

Walter needs to leave, he has been on a knife edge since the middle of last season and if he dosent go now we might not have the agony of another premiership relegation battle to look forward to next season, so fuck off back to scotland u fat no talent prick and let Peter Reid or Dave Jones do ur job.

Mickey's Vitriol - take one dose weekly

Excellent site…many thanks for providing an open honest forum for the much
needed debate, concerning the immediate future of Smith & Knox...
...but for god's sakes why do you persist with MBE!?!?!?!

I gave up trying to glean any valid commentary from his reports months ago…..I now just go "argument-picking" and "hypocrisy spotting" with his submissions Mickey, quite openly, let us know his opinions on the "racism" issue that reared its extremely ugly head some months ago, and more power to him...but he has frankly bored us to tears with it now and his ongoing infatuation for SuperKev. Take this weeks report from the Middlesboro game...

MBE on SuperKev: "At this rate I wouldn't be at all surprised if this is his last season with us. This would be a tragedy for him and us. But I don't expect your average loony racist or thicky looking for a scapegoat to understand that."

MBE on Leeds United F.C.: "Just think, this is the horrible racist organisation some dickbrains once suggested as a model."

Powerful stuff, I think you'll agree…….but what say Mickey on the effects on the English game of our Cross-channel cousins?

MBE on the French: "For chrissakes what IS it about the French?… In my worst reactionary moods I always figure narcissism is a French national sport with its epicentre somewhere among the awful Parisians. So why do garlic noshers like Daveed insist in confirming the stereotype with depressing regularity? When I get
frustrated over this sort of thing my first inclination is to shit in his beret and stick it back on his head. See how much he's "worth it" then."

Apparently "reactionary moods" vindicate racist outbursts? Mickey has clearly fallen in love with his alter-ego, his keystrokes now take on a mesmeric speed as they desperately try to keep up with the multitude of thoughts and opinions he tries to squeeze onto the page. Mickey lad, please, remember what your point is and always re-read your submissions, especially when written on a subject for which you hold a passion……otherwise credibility, like your arguments, will go flying out of the window.
Forever Blue

Players are to Blame

Let me first say that I''ve always been impartial to Walter as I try to lookat the question of his departure in a different way . . . . If we sack him now who are we going to get to replace him for the last 9 games ? Who would actually want or take the job ? Sorry but I don't actually see the point now at this stage. If we were going to sack him it should have been at Christmas.

My real issue is with the players themselves. It didn't matter what formation Smith selected those players showed so little appetite and commitment for the game it really hurt me. They should be ashamed to be
called professional footballers. For christ sake it was the FA CUP quarter final . . . . what more incentive did they need. The support was once again astonishing . . . no praise is too high for the fans. I was one of the poor lads who made the journey and words can't describe my utter contempt at the moment for most of those players who pulled on the shirt.

I know Smith has to take alot of the blame but lets not forget that these players are paid good wages and have a great lifestyle that all the fans ask is that they put the effort into the game. If they showed even 10% of the attitude shown by the fans we would not be in the position we are in now.

My last point . . . .the chairman of portsmouth is on the right lines . . . it's about time footballers went onto performance related pay . . . .like most normal working people are these days. Our sad squad would be queueing up at the sally army for handouts this season !!!!! Cheers. Keith Seymour. (21/03/02)

Toffees @ The Test Match

Sorry everyone, I know we've all got a lot on our minds at the moment, but I just thought I'd tell you that there's a fucking HUGE bluebelly flag on show at the test match, motto on show loud and proud. They used to say that if there is ever a nuclear war, New Zealand is the least worst place to be when it happens. Maybe the same theory applies if the proudest top-flight record in England goes down the khazi. Do Easyjet fly there?

Well done to the youth lads, Jesus we needed that, anything positive taken gratefully. Stay proud and keep praying, Sunday was the watershed and Walter, if you have indeed gone today, thanks for keeping our heads above water for 3 years but you would have taken us down this season, without a shred of doubt. We might still go, but anyone who saw the West Ham and/or Boro games knows that it's worth the risk, for the alternative was most certainly Nationwide damnation. As for the short-term/long-term manager debate, I reckon Keith Harris and fucking Orville would get them up for it more than Smith and Knox, but if they're not available then get Joe in. He's a Blue and we know he'll have Gemmill's and Alexandersson's bollocks on a stick if they don't pull their fingers out. MK Blue.(31/03/02)
