Kings Dock

I call myself an Evertonian, but I am conscious of the needs of the people of north Liverpool.Your report on our Early Day Motion is very misleading. You choose what you want from it to suit your own prejudices. We wish the arena plan well-after all,I have argued for one for the last ten years. It is not as if it is an Everton initiative-the proposal came from the city council.Everton will have the use of the arena for about 20-25 days per
year. The cost of the arena(forget the rest of the developments on the site-they are nothing to do with Everton F.C.)is to be £155million,with £65million coming from public funds. Our argument is simple-good luck to the
development, but if it is so good, why can it not the £65million be raised on the open market?

Judge Moyes when the honeymoon period is over

Nice April Fool, even if Moyes & the Blues wanted WS to come back, do you think he would return to subject himself to all the s*!t he received whilst manager? WS did a good job on half a shoestring, we'd have gone down long ago if not for him & AC. What if Andy Gray had accepted the offer instead of WS , div 2 probably by now? Judge Moyes when the honeymoon period is over and he still hasn't got the funds. MR. (03/04/02)

More Please Mr Moyes

What a breath of fresh air to see the blues scoring goals and more importantly winning matches again. Much respect to Bungalow Bill who made the right choice both in severing links with Scotland's answer to the Kray twins and also in his swift appointment of Mr Moyes.
Now there's a bloke who's won one or two hearts at "The Peoples Club" already. He's come into a club looking over into the chasm that is the Football League and dragged us away from the brink when lets face it we looked doomed. He's even waved the magic wand and made Big Dunc look like a player who gives one (although a little bit too feisty on Monday Big fella) and let us not forget he has transformed Unsie into a world class player ( MOM again on Monday if I may say so!)
Long may it continue.
If The boss man keeps it up, he may make The Rad into a clinical finisher! Looks like we may be in for some good times ahead, well fuck me we deserve it! Keep the faith and remember Everton IS the Peoples Club!
EFC. Blueboy Mark. (03/04/02)

IF YA KNOW YA HISTORY

I suppose we have all had a good moan over the last few dire months about the state of our sorry club, but it looks like there is light at the end of the tunnel.
Of course it is early days yet, but now is the time to show the other teams exactly who we are.
All the right things are happening (cept the drumming at newcastle last week) on the pitch, fuck me we are even scoring goals. Moyesy gave jesper a good bollocking yesterday coz he spat his dummy when he got subbed........fucking exellent, they BOTH care.
2 midfielders, and a striker in the summer please Mr Kenwright So, if ya know ya history...
Blue forever, Matt - London

You owe us, Dunc

Firstly, I missed the April Fool page on the day, but fucking pissed myself at some of the replies. Spot on again boys.
Right, Mr. Ferguson....You owe me an apology you big stupid cunt. Never mind all this shit about apologising to your team mates bollocks. If that fucking stupid punch had have cost us Prem status you and your team mates would still be picking up your contracted wages or have fucked off back to the Prem or abroad, but me (ok,us) would be putting up with £20M less cash in the bastard Nationwide. Yes, I want him fired up and passionate to win, but if you're going to wear the armband, we DEMAND the highest of respect for that privilege. For that is what it is, and the pressure that goes with that is maybe something that he, like Campbell, cannot handle together. So either sort it out, or give it to Weir, or as I would prefer, Stubbs. Not only for my personal preference of a centre half as captain, but like to remember our finest it that role i.e. Labone and Ratcliffe, both c/halves, passionate, and local boys who REALLY knew what that armband meant. Just ask Nick Chadwick what that goal means and ask him if it would have meant as much if he'd have scored it at the St. Mary's Stadium !! So fucking think about it Duncan (and Moyes), and how about an apology to us for a change. The last time I felt as angry as I did on Monday was when Limpar handled against Wimbledon, and if hadn't have been for the OSD, having run down eight flights of steps to get at him, I would have chinned the fucker. I was so fired up and simply lost it at him doing something so stupid at such an important time. But just like the Wimbledon game, at 4.50 I didn't give a shit as the points were in the bag now, the beer's flowing, and all's well with the world for a week. But when I hear all this sorry for the lads shite without a mention of what it means to us, it just pisses me off (man!).
Anyways, great result, and some positive signs. Moyes (please drop this Moyesy shit boys-makes us sound like the shite !) giving Jesper a tongue lashing for daring to question him, a passion revived, Unsworth circa Wembley '95, Goodison booming, and a happiness returning around us blues. The Peoples club thing couldn't have been P.R.'d better, in fact the joke of a PR that we have at the club could take some big advice from that off the cuff remark, and simply see how easy it can be to touch us, and bollocks to what the shite have to say, I don't value their opinion at the best of times, never mind on the truth !!!!
The referee gave posssibly the worst performance I've ever seen on Monday, and the two pens were simply a farce. The Rad will rue that miss for some time, but I was particularly annoyed with the TV on Mon, when having (finally)scored, and maybe playing with a renewed confidence, he outpaces the defender, dummies the on-rushing keeper ( a la Pele - a hem!), meggs the next defender, and finally lays a perfect cross for Chadwick to finish superbly(in comparirson to earlier opportunities). And the bastards didn't even replay the goal ! Excuse me ITV, but if Beckham, Henry, or the dwarf from across the park would have done that, it would have been shown for fucking years.
As you can maybe see, I've got some passion back, or I wouldn't be moaning. I care again !! Thank you.
Park End Bill.(03/04/02)

All I Want is a Photograph

Can somebody explain how the guys who operate the scoreboard can rustle up a picture of the Queen Mum (God bless 'er)at (assumedly) short notice, yet almost a year after his arrival, still haven't managed to get one of 'The Rad'???. Walshy. (02/04/02)

Quasi on his way out?

The word on the vine over here amongst Australian Evertonians is that Quasimodo is soon to leave the club due to Moysey thinkin he's shite. I don't know how reliable this info is but if we can get a couple of quid for him it's a bloody good deal. Has any word been raised at Goodison about the depature of Pembridge?
cheers. aussie blue. (02/04/02)

I Feel Sorry For Scott

Its got to the point where I actually felt a tiny bit sorry for that tosser Gemmill on Friday. He was so over-run it was embarrassing for him. He was trying to hide. I just hope that the team was again picked by Holden, so that when Moyesy does pick the team, he can leave the knobhead out of the squad altogether. Surely Toby could do better, mind you so could most ? Dave W. (02/04/02)

LW 252

I guess you have heard of the new talk sport radio station, longwave 252, i used to think this was a good station but i am putting out a request to all evertonians to boyctt it.At about 2:00 am on Good Ffriday mornin, traveling in my car i was listeing to the previews of our game against Newcastle, the host of the show introduced the game by saying "Newcastle are a team that have a great season, and Everton are a team that are never going to have a great season again". Can you believe the narrow mindedness of this so-called
football pundit. I could go on to tell you the names i was calling this fucking gobshite, but i guess your all thinking the same. I wont be tuning in to LW 252 again, BOYCOTT it. Thanks, Walshy. (02/04/02)

Jason Koumas

Isn't going to happen - he didn't tell WBA to shove it, Tranmere didn't pay him what he was owed and Lorraine Rodgers pulled the plug on the whole deal - Moyes was interested in Koumas for Preston, not for Everton. Daniel Fletcher (02/04/02)

MBE

I find MBE's inability to appreciate the irony in his socialist proclamations on the one hand, and his criticism of the French on the other, somewhat amusing. Fact is Mickey, you live in a fundamentally right-wing country, in which old women have to wait 2 years on NHS waiting lists for hip operations, pensioners freeze in winter for fear of turning on the heating, working class youngsters are scared away from going to university because of potential debt levels, and the entire population gets ripped off over and over again without ever protesting, mainly because you have no soul or social conscience.

I read a statistic in the Observer a few weeks ago that in Paris in 2001, there were approximately 2000 demonstrations. Figure for London was something like 6. Private pensions are illegal here to ensure that the state will always be able to collect enough money in social security charges to provide a decent standard
of living for the whole population on retirement.

The hospitals are probably the best in the world, and you would never have to wait for more than a week or two for any kind of operation. Hence the recent decision by British hospitals to send patients here. Cars in Britain are still an average of 30% higher but that's because manufacturers know that you're a) too thick and b) too apathetic to do anything about it. Same goes for most things. Supermarket food especially. Try comparing a British and European IKEA catalogue. Again, they increase your prices by around 30%, just because they know they can. And please don't imagine that such evils as university tuition fees exist in
France. The government would neither want to nor dare. Try looking at the country's transport links as well. Compare the SCNF and TGV with the disaster you currently have in Britain.

Yes, there are many things for which the French can be criticised, Parisians in particular, but if you want to shout from the moral high ground, make sure you're standing on a mountain and not the shores of the dead sea. You see Mickey, looking at you and the people who make monkey noises at Rufus Brevet, the only difference in my mind is that they are uneducated. What's your excuse for the hideous bile that you make us endure? Parisian Blue. (02/04/02)

Sexy Toffee Girl

Would anyone think it a good idea if we had a new Toffe Girl at Everton, with a new sexy image.

Derby Goalie

Good report on Rams' match, thanks. You made a dig at their goalie's name, which might be seen as unfair, but the News Of The World actually printed his name as Fellatio in the match report,( East Midlands edition).
I only found out about your site in the past 5 weeks, but visit 4/5 days a week. Keep up the good work.
Steve Warbrick. (26/03/02)

Well Done Blue Bill

Would you believe the change one man makes. Bill you are my hero, The winds of change are blowing through mersey side The old Scot replaced by a brave heart playing the type of game reminding me who we once were. The school of science is being invented again good luck for the rest of the season you blue kippers. John Lea. (26/03/02)

David Moyes - Great Move

the man has arrived, the best young manager in the country just you see, he,ll shake and stir the stagnant water, and get a river flowing. he won,t need luck he,s decisive, positive and clear in his attitude to all aspects of leadership and man management, when he,s shovelled out the shite and bought good young lower division talent in which he will, we will go forward, improvement and better results are a certainty with the man in charge!! Glento. (26/03/02)

Daveed

Surprise, surprise. David Ginola won't be at the crucial relegation battle between the Blues and Derby. He was on the Liverpool to Nice flight with Easyjet 1155hrs 22.3.02 from Speke. Regards, Domingo. (26/03/02)

Moyes Boys

I think the appointment of David Moyes as boss will be a good one, I know he will get the players beleiving in
themselves again and playing for the club and the fans, a bit the young Howard Kendall of the mid 80's.
Lets hope so for the sake of our beloved club. EFC FOR EVER.Peter Harper. (26/03/02)

It doesn't add up

I thought somebody could help provide me with an answer, the crowd for the heroic, well deserved victory over those cheating 'bastards' Fulham was just below 35,000, when we got in the ground we were made up with the superb atmosphere it was fucking electric I thought the roof was going to come off the stands. We guessed it was about 38,000 as there weren't many spaces in the main stand or the end of Bullens Road! even the cockneys brought quite a few, there weren't many gaps anywhere, so we were surprised to say the least when they announced the total of 35,000! So is it a case of somebody can't count or has somebody's got sticky fingers and are spooning a few quid into some offshore account! perhaps why there no money. cheers Sheyboy, Corsham Blue Boy.(26/03/02)

Saturday 16th March 2002...........THANK YOU

I'm not going to say that all's now well in the garden again (Mike Walker etc, etc), but I, like I suspect many other blues, have gone through so many emotions in the last week or so, but having felt (discovered) the feeling of total mediocrity last weekend and the realisation that we're fucked, the boys at least gave me something to hold onto on Saturday, and maybe, just maybe, I can get that wonderful feeling back. The feeling, honest feeling, that we could resurrect a great club. As I said after the FA joke, I'll still be going, but just felt it was time to be realistic about the future. Well it took 27 fucking seconds to tell me that I might just have been a little premature. Thank you one and all, and I include us all in that, for giving me some passion back. A week in football and all that shite has never been so aptly written for me. What next ? At the moment I don't really give a shit coz I'm nearly smiling again, and can only hope that another battling performance can be given at Derby. So a big personal THANK YOU again to all Evertonians there on Saturday.
Park End Bill. (26/03/02)

Fresh Legs Needed.

Lets get rid of all the shite players first off. The players in the lower league can do more than all the players from Europe who cost an arm and a leg. All we need is a coach with a bit of nouise what do you get from these mersonery shits, nothing if we go by past performances the only thing the pricks want is the cash and of course to live by the banks of the royal blue mersey.Great result today(Fulham) Welcome to our savior Thank you Bill for bringing another Preston great. John Lea. (26/03/02)

Abel Xavier

I don't often get angry but reading the comments from Xavier on the Daily Post web site really upset me. Who the hell is he to tell our new boy what's, what about Everton? The report says that he supported Walter right to the end. Maybe he should let everyone know what the cure to the flu bug is and perhaps he should bottle and sell the miraculous cure he has found to all his other ailments. It is amazing how fit he is now Portugal is set to select players for their World Cup team

I firmly believe that players like Xavier are a good riddance from our dressing room. I can't say on the playing field as he was never there. I read that the red shite Thommo was upset about what the Barcelona players were saying before this week's game and was reported to say ..that shite players never stooped to that sort of thing. Maybe he should take Xavier in hand ( preferably, just like the memorable picture of Vinny Jones)... but then that was about Barcelona, not our lads.

On a better topic, now WS & especially AK have gone, I must say I'm really excited about the new management change. Let's look forward to the next few games and once again start saying that " Everton is Magic". God, how I wish I could be there on Saturday. Give a few cheers from me.
Eric Owen. Toronto. Canada. (26/03/02)

Walter Out? Yes. Moyes In? No.

Whilst I agree that getting rid of Walter Smith was the correct decision to take, I think the timing was absolutely ridiculous. There are only 9 games left in which to save ourselves (only 4 if you count the fact that we are not going to get ANY points from our remaining away games) and the fact that we have appointed a manager with no pedigree makes me feel very scared about our future Premiership status.

I am of the opinion that for David Moyes one should read Mike Walker. Walker was appointed manager on the back of one half-decent result, namely when his Norwich team beat Bayern Munich in Munich. The press went bananas over Walker, saying how good a manager he was, and we fell for it like the mugs we are, and always have been. What a disaster he turned out to be, so much so that he now runs a skip hire business, and I feel as though we have dropped another clanger in appointing Moyes.

What has Moyes achieved in football management? I’ll tell you, naff all. If he had any current or future pedigree, he would have been snapped up by somebody else (namely Man Utd) and given the chance to enhance his managerial strengths as Fergie’s number two. As well as getting rid of Walter Smith I would like to see that cross between Elton John and a pantomime dame, namely Bill Kenwright, hoofed out as he has been as much use as the previous chairman. He should stick to what he knows best, poncey plays and musicals.

And on the subject of getting rid of people when will the club and the majority of its supporters realise that this lazy, injury prone, piece of shit Duncan Ferguson has effectively been taking the piss out of the club
since his second arrival. We would not allow anyone else to take the piss, so why do we allow this knobhead? For your information, I have supported Everton all my life. Keith Mc.(26/03/02)

...and there's more

I've just read on teletext that we wanted the striking power of Bradford's Ashley Ward on loan until the end of the season ! This seems to have fallen through now that Walt has gone. Couldn't believe my eyes. Although I do feel some sympathy for Smith, as I've said before, I think he's a genuine bloke who I finally hope is our last manager to be fucked over by the inept board we have, but yet again it shows us just where he was coming from. ASHLEY FUCKING WARD !!! Where are the mighty Bradford these days ? And I can't find him in the top eight Division ONE leading scorers table. I believe enough said.
Best wishes to our new manager, and I bet the old piper's fucking made up with another Scot arriving !!
Park End Bill. (26/03/02).
