Tommy G

I do wonder at times whether Hamburg FC have retained ownership of Mad Dog's brain and have it lying about in a tub of gunge in some bank vault awaiting another £500,000 from Everton; if Tommy was ever to be reunited with his brain, he could be a truly formidable player rather than the haphazard mess we have at the moment. On his day, he can be brilliant but on the other days there is only so much I take at the sight of Tommy lashing the ball against an opponent's shins in the hope of a fortuitous rebound or getting outpaced and then hacking an opponent down from behind.

On a lighter note, has any one else noticed that The Gravedigger's antics when pleading his innocence to the ref - the arms outstretched and the complete rolling of his head, shoulders and chest back and forth in one big movement - is surely taken straight from the FIFA 2003 computer game; Everton can surely claim a world first in possessing a player who's game is based upon his own computer graphic. Doug (Kent Blue). (12/01/03)

REDSHITE BIAS

I completely agree with Tom Griff (07/01/03). Here we are in our centenary season and nobody gives a shit. Years ago we should have sued UEFA for loss of earnings after Heysel. And fucking ITV persists in inflicting them on us every Saturday. They say the league table never lies at this stage of the season, except if you are connected with the redshite. A new book, "Gerard Houllier's 100 Best Excuses" will make a nice Christmas present eventually. What a great job he's doing though. The shite are finally playing like we all know they should. Title contenders? - MY ARSE!!!! Come on you Blues - get behind the team. We have the best young manager and best young player in the country. Regards, Brian O'Regan. (12/01/03)

Blue Nose

Alrite der Blue Kipper, hows it goin? I'm buzzin. Ya know why? Cus I'm a BLUE.
Me and me brother were brought up to be blue as soon as we were born. But wereas me brother went from the Blues to the Red Shite, then to the other Red Shite (the dirty manks), and then back to the Red Shite.(This was throughout the 90's). I stayed true to the Royal Blue. His excuse was that we were crap and under acheiving. But whats this? Now that were back and doin well he's started sayin that were his second fav team, and dat he's always supported us. HAS HE FUCK. Any way i'll stop wofflin on and leave you to it. Keep up da good work. Greg Mc. (12/01/03)

Gone but not forgotten

Just to let you know I think the site is brilliant and I know that as soon as my brother gets set up with a computer in his adopted home New Zealand he will be back on to the site. He emigrated just after the Arsenal match (what a game to go out on) so saw the Roonster come of age, it was him that put me on to the Kipper and was made up when we got photographed at the Abbey for the top alehouses. I know Phil and his boys Adam and Luke are missing the the Blues, their seats in the Park Stand and the dark mild in the Abbey but at least they had the satisfaction of being able to look down on the shite over Christmas. Miss you mate. Once a bluenose always a bluenose. doodahdave. (12/01/03)

Double Standards?

Caught the last ten minutes of the RS v Sheff Utd,what joy!! Old Sourpuss was interviewed as usual no credit given to the opposition, various excuses given, blah, blah, blah. He was then asked about the Kirkland/Brown incident(in my eyes he was late
and did slightly catch Kirklands knee, but the ball was in the six yard area, in his defence it was not a TWO footed tackle,Kirkland was able to continue, however it did merit a booking, which is what the ref gave)Houillier said he thought United were over physical, and Kirkland could have had his leg broken by Browns challenge, this coming from the man who defends tennis ball head/sorry Gerrard after his two footed assault on Naysmith. Is he for real? (PS loved Warnocks response on the TV) Don't like commenting on THEM,but sometimes they just beggar belief!! Derek D Sullivan. (12/01/03)

Li Tie

I know we have all talked about who we are getting on loan at the moment and who we would like to sign. But am I right in thinking Li is still only on loan for rest of season. Have you heard anything about us actually signing him?? We all know he ain't no David Beckham but he's played really well 90% of the time. Graham. (12/01/03)

Give the lads a break

I wish everyone would leave Gemmill and Saint Nic alone. Alexasndersson gave us a hope against Shrewsbury and Gemmill is running his heart out when he comes on as a sub. We are fifth and by no fluke. When was the last time we were TWO places above THEM? I certainly can't remember, we should sit back and just enjoy it while we can. We were all embarressed by our cup exit, but things like that happen and we should all learn to move on, the pain will heal, but let the Rat enjoy his cup run while he can. Iv'e got a feeling Sunderland are going to feel the wrath of Mr. Moyes and his army when they come to GP.
Blue 4 ever. Anna Sheehan

Clenching Fists

I read to day that the Gobshite Gerrard has finally been charged with violent conduct by the FA. I hope they throw the book at him. He says he pulled out of it, yeah, that's right ! So clenching fists, locking your knees, studs up and focusing on your opponents thigh whilst in the air is now the 'shite way of pulling out. Bring on the Derby at our place, I hope Dunc/Stubbsy/Tommy (or anyone who wants to be a Hero) "pull out" of a few tackles on that shitbag. Revenge is a dish best served cold, lets make this a frozen meal. Ducky Blue nose (London) (12/01/03)

Bad Game? SO WHAT!

So we had 1 bad game and yes the F.A. cup means a lot to us but we have't played like this 4 years. So stop ur moanin' an get to goodison and help our boys kick butt! We know we can outplay most teams around us so now we've jus' got 2 prove it. And I KNOW FOR SURE that we r gonna finish above old French frog, hook-nose and their sad sacks. So come on efc, SHOW 'EM WOT WE R MADE OF!!! Becci. (12/01/03)

China Blue Sales

The person who commented on the China market is quite correct. I'm a life long Blue and have lived in Shanghai for 2 years. The city is booming and NOW is the time to get in, starting with a small shop in the centre with the Blues logo selling football merchandise in general but concentrating on promoting everything EFC. Even if it means selling at cost for the first year or 2 at least we get in early with the name of Everton instead of MU (who have small shops everywhere). OK things get copied - so what? The authorities are improving counterfeit law and enforcement each year in China. It's OUR product identification we need first and the number of people the disposable income to purchase the genuine article is growing fast. Tony Hanley. (08/01/03)

Stop yer f*****g moaning

Totally agree with Simon Harwood. If Evertonians spent as much time vocally getting behind the team at GP (instead of the morgue like atmosphere and limited 2 song range that we seem to have), instead of constantly whining about everything that goes on in the club and actually focussed their attention on GETTING BEHIND THE TEAM, it might just lift the players to put in that extra 10% .

My only gripe at the moment is the Rooney contract saga, what the f**k is going on here. I am like everyone associated with our club, sure the boy does not want to go elsewhere, so why has his contract not been sorted? F**king agents, they want shooting the bastard lot of them!

We are not the first team to suffer a cup upset are we? Might just bring the players back to earth after all the recent praise. As embarrassing as it was, you just have to move on and look forward to the next game (not a cliché). Also lets see what McBride is actually like before questioning his abilities! Tom Coleman. (08/01/03)

Keep on Running

Although I don't share Chris Simpson's belief that it's " Jan.4 and our season's over " , I do wholeheartedly agree with his overall sentiment that if you pull on the blue shirt then you'd better run your fucking arse into the pitch. Likewise his feelings re: Gemmill and Saint Nic. I have a hard time believing that Moyes would actually desire to have either of these tits in his team, but it seems that as soon as Nic was fit he's getting time on the pitch. Go figure. C Simpson's e-mail was so angry, by the way, that it reminded me of how I used to get when I was teenager following the Blues via the short-wave and relatives letters, particularly the 85-86 heartbreak. When I came home from school to find out that we had lost at Oxford my Dad had to restrain me from destroying parts of the house. I'm glad that I have outgrown that sort of behaviour, but I hope that there are still teenage football fans (particularly Blues) who still place such inordinate importance on the outcome of matches.
Sean Condon Vancouver, BC. (08/01/03)

Get off their backs!

Come on bluenoses, what is all the whinging about? Yes it was a bad result on Saturday and yes, the game against City wasn't great football and I was as pi**ed off as everyone else at paying £19.50 to watch it. But...maybe now it's time to get off their backs, get behind the lads and do what we are supposed to do, Support them. We are FIFTH AND ABOVE THE REDS.
PS maybe we should offload Gemmill though!! Leila. (08/01/03)

Two Week Break....

... don't worry. We've got one. Now we are out of the cup. Paul (Top Balcony) Watson. (08/01/03)

FA is Full of Red....ites

I could not believe the comments of David Davies on radio 5 last week. Having repeated all the hype about the new Wembley he was asked to comment on the magic of the third round of the cup. Response was what we would expect ie. magic, opportunities for minnows and history etc. However when asked who would win it he remarked that bearing in mind their recent difficulties wouldn't it be great if Liverpool won it. I couldn't believe my ears. Then of course were did Rick Parry come from, who refused to throw them out after Hysel et al. John Griff. (07/01/03)

Megastore in Bejing

Why is our Club yet again not exploiting itself to its true potential ? If there was anyone at the club with a bit of knowledge, they'd have opened a Megastore in China by now in either Bejing or Shanghai ! All they'd need was a shop, lots of Li Tie and Rooney merchandise and then watch the cash flow in ! I dunno how long the shop would last, maybe only a few years or however long Li Tie is here, but in the short term it would definately be worth the money, I cant see it costing too much for a shop in Shanghai ! Also, why are the 'sh*te' going on a Pre-season tour to China and not us ? We'd sell out far more games and shirts etc and cement our place across the world ! Just a thought ! JamesT. (07/01/03)

Give Moyesy The Money

Not a happy blue I'm afraid, what is going on? Recently, our performances have been shite, this is not coincidental with the fact that players are playing out of position. HOW CAN SCOTT GEMMILL GET A GAME FOR EVERTON FOOTBALL CLUB??????????? He is awful, absolutely awful. We might aswell play with ten men because he is so negative and lazy, he shits out of tackles, cant head, can only pass two yards either side of himself, and only ever looks arsed when he weants to take a free kick. And Alexandersson, dont even get me started. We started the season well, because we had a settled first eleven. Yobo isnt a right back, Stubbs and Weir dont work as a partnership, Naysmith is too ineffective, Gravesen is all talk no walk, Radz wastes too many chances, Li Tie doesnt contribute enough to our attacking play and Wrighty is starting to cost us too many points. We need money quickly, Brian McBride isnt going to solve our problems, a 30 year old American?? (Where have I heared that before- JMM) Bowyer and Fowler will only cost us around 8 million - lets fucking do it, instead of Birmingham or fucking wesy ham getting them, we are Everton - its about time the Premiership knew it. Changes have to be made - quick- otherwise its going to be Smith the sequal Im afraid. Lee McClean. (06/01/03)

Stubbs, Weir, & Yobo Should Play Together

This is just to say that Chris Simpson (see below) fella he's chattin shit...Gemmill was are best player aginst Shrewsbury and who would you drop from Stubbs and Weir at centre half for Yobo? Yobo is better than the both of em like but they r both on top of their game an if you watched Yobo in the world cup he played right back and had a stormer, and he can also play midfield. So why not try to get all r best players playin at the same time? An stop fuckin moanin were 5th, Moyesy is obviously doin somethin right.
Robert O'Sullivan. (06/01/03)

Moysey Should Go For Bowyer

What about Moyesey going after Lee Bowyer???? Graveson obviously doesn't want to know and Toby is the only other player we have that is capable of controlling the midfield. Get rid of Graveson and get Bowyer in............you very rarely get players of his quality available on a free transfer. This is a gift of a transfer opportunity at the moment!!!!! Barnsey. (06/12/02)

Back Your Team

What IS going on. Not on the field but all these so called EVERTONIANS!!! We have a poor spell, and yes I admit a very bad performance in the FA cup but Jesus....this is the BEST season we have had for a long time. Instead of harping on.....ohhhh we need this ohhhh we should do that.....SHUT UP.....Get your blue shirt on and back your team!!!

Yes we have been poor over the last 4 or five games.....but for over half a season we have been THE team in the country. We are 5th....yes 5th in the league and we have still have players to come in to the side who can make such an impact...Mr Rodrigo for starters. Ohhh and just one more thing isn't it strange how over the last 7 to 8 seasons we have barley had a full house, then we win a few games and you can't get a ticket for love nor money!!.....I wonder if the "supporters" who have recently been taking seats
at Goodison are the same ones who are moaning that we are crap and saying our season is over, what next SACK MOYES??? We have had 1 bad game but I have not seen Everton play good football like they have this season for many a year, carry on the hard work boy, I am one supporter who has been around long enough to appreciate what we have right now!!!!. So Please shut up
and get behind the team.....DONT BECOME LIKE THE RED S****!!! Simon Harwood. (06/01/03)

Sham 69

Wot a sham!..This is a team that worrks itself from relegation to top of the table!..Wot were they thinkin of???..They must of thought it woz a walk over!.. Moyesy must of been LIVID!!!..
Yeh , Injury's, Suspension havn't helped..but there wasn't a pass between them, no spirit to win the game (no matter how short the squad woz!). Moysey has turned the blues round into a team we were proud of! For GOD'S SAKE Blues make him proud of you!! Cum on you Blues!!! Gud site..Hugs Venus x. 007. (06/01/03)

Johnny Logan

Well the old Irish favourite Johnny Logan is back with 'Whats another year'. It defies logic how the likes of Gemmil, Alexanderson are still at the fucking club never mind getting a fucking game. We should have had a clear out in the summer and were paying for it now. When you have a centre half as good as yobo why do you play him at fucking right back so that he can get injured. Has Moyesey found Walters diary on how to play players in the wrong positions? We were shite against City and gutless against fucking Shrewsbury. This shouldn't have happened! There are no excuses for this. If a player puts on an Everton shirt he should fucking well play with passion or else fuck off! There are too many fucking hangers on at our club choking the fucking wage bill. Something should be done to fuck them off. 4th of Jan and our season may as well be over. Chris Simpson. (06/01/03)

A tad low & knocked back down to earth

The last couple of weeks have certainly knocked all blues back a bit. Very few expected us to be up there so soon and even fewer expected us to stay up there. However, things have certainly started to deteriorate. The twat Elleray started things off by trying to preserve his premiership refereeing status and going for the "any publicity is good publicity" stance. We then had the Duke giving a PURE one-man show in vain against notlob. Not the greatest performance, but still could easily have won. Then Shitty. Very lucky to get a draw really, and even worse....... the Duke looks jaded (and is starting to be paired with the Rad), a couple of injuries, and Gemmill is getting a look-in. Then, we get a couple of signings when the transfer window is ajar. One of them is just here training till the American season re-opens. One is another keeper. The other one actually looked very good in pre-season, but we didnt sign him. Then this..... Saturday 4th January 2003. Almost a Smith XI. Woeful, outclassed. What went on. It was a disgrace. "RHarrycharles" and "Bob From Runcorn" are certainly right that money is desperately needed to ensure this top-ten position. Don't let it slip boys. We need a spark quickly.

One more point...... we need to know... is Kings Dock money there or not ? Stop Pissing us ALL around. Bluenubster. (06/01/03)

50p A Man

If we have got 350m chinese supporters then with the 100 thousand supporters min over the rest or the world ,lets ask for a donation of say 50pence per person, this would bring in 175 millon pounds. This could be a tad helpful. A pound each and we could lend are neigbours another 100 million plus to waste. [thanks ]Sir John Moores] the one thing you should have had in your will, was not to allow turncoats in the family [david moores][very nice man]to spend are money,so pityfully.Good luck Everton in your 100 years of top class football you deserve it. No wonder your THE PEOPLES CLUB. Only ex reds in the media, and the stranglehold they have to make shite look good, and bias refs are left for them now, and thats wearing a bit thin. RHarrycharles. (04/01/03)

Midfield Worry

I WAS AT THE CITY GAME 01/01/03 I HAVE TO SAY THAT OUR MIDFIELD IS IN DOUR NEED OF SOME OPEN WALLET SURGERY FROM BLUE BILL AND HIS MATES, BECAUSE IF WE DONT GET IT ALL OF MR MOYES GOOD WORK GOOD PROOF TO BE IN VAIN . FOREVERBLUE. BOB FROM RUNCORN. (04/01/03)

Wayne Rooney

Blue Kipper, It is quite obvious that the referee’s in the English Premier League have been given a mandate to destroy Wayne Rooney”s natural abilty and aggression by the method of yellow and red cards at each opportunity they can. The young up and coming players from Man United, Arsenal, Liverpool etc do not come in for the same treatment or if you like “TACTIC”. I am afraid Wayne Rooney will eventually go over to Europe to further his career. Frank McG (CANADA). (04/01/03)

It' time to gripe

I know Blue Kipper doesn't like differing opinions than there's, as per Micky Blue's report on half season ticket holder, I also know that anyone that calls for Smith to return is a few Pine needles short of a Xmas tree. But it has to be said and said now.

Pistone is the best left back at the club to-day, (can't even make the bench). Yobo is the best centre half in the world, (plays at right back). and goals per minutes played Radzinski is far superior that cart horse Campbell, (he can't run tackle chase back) but is always the prefered striker.

Moyes has done a great job. If we finish in the top ten would also be great. I believe with the spirit in team Europe is a reallity.

Team selection though, could be better. Mike Kendrick. (04/01/03)

Kings Dock

Firstly, I'll wish Everton and all Evertonians everywhere all the best in 2003 and for every year that follows!!

A few words on; The stadium proposals at Kingsdock look fantastic, that is not in doubt. However, funding the project is proving a little more difficult. Looking at the big picture, in another 10/20 years time, I think we will need to be in a place good enough to meet the requirements of a top Premiership and hopefully by then a truly top European / World football club. BUT My first priority would always be to get the first team squad up to the highest standard that it can.

Therefore I am much more worried about the newly planned training / youth development structure being opposed. This is where our funds, time and energy should be put in!! Hopefully by doing this, we will become once again and stay, as one of the finest football teams around and securing our long term future. After all, as is said time and time again, it's what happens on the pitch that counts. No one will give a monkeys if were not playing top class football, even if were playing in a great stadium!

Also, Goodison Park is not always a sell-out. Would we fill a 55,000 seater stadium each week? especially since more and more games are being screened live on TV?

Now a question, what is the latest on the new training complex? Also, is anyone worried about Celtic / Martin O'Neill. I think Moysey would be there number one target without a doubt! I'm just hoping he has more loyalty and ambition to know what he can become and what he hopefully will achieve staying at Everton. He is matched against some of the very best sides in the world each week, not one good team 4 times a year!!

Wishing everyone involved at the "peoples club" all the best once again. From a very loyal Mancunian Evertonian, currently living in Sydney. Tilley. (04/01/03)

Away Goalies

At the Notlob game, 0-0 with Rooney taking the piss out of all, mostly Campo and still managing not to score. Anyway being a gwladys blue after half time Jaaskelainen begins slowly jogging over. We give the usual applause and the bastard turns around. So a few of us who started to clap feel like right arseholes. But give him the benefit of the doubt when he turns back towards us and looks to be jogging, cue applause again until he once more faces the other way.
After two false starts he finally comes right up to the net and we applaud once more and he ignores us. Someone should tell him in his native tongue what we mean by it, or am I just being all moany becuase we shoulda got 3 points? Chris Sikorski. (04/01/03)

To Dive or Not To Dive

Couldn`t stop pissing myself laughing over the reaction from Analfield and `To-lose The-Plot` over Franny`s majestic tumble. Is this not the same club that raised the art of diving for penalties to an art form through the exploits of Dalglish, Rush, Owen and Heskey etc? This point was perfectly illustrated before the match on Sunday morning`s `Goals on Sunday` on Sky. Two former Red Legends` Aldridge & Houghton (their words not mine), actually stated that the Duke should have gone down for a penalty against Bolton instead of trying to score, and that with a little more maturity and experience he would probably do this in the future!

I cannot remember a more stark illustration of how the `Shite` and their followers think and feel, and it just goes to make me dislike them all the more. Judging by their reaction to their worst run of results for 50 years, when we finish above them at the end of the season, the world will be at an end, the suicide rate will rocket and Houllier and Big Nose will be looking for new jobs.

Love the site, keep up the good work, stay forever BLUE. Happy Al`s Bus Boy.

My Moan About The Bolton game

Next time Moyesey gets the manager of the month he should tell them to stick it up there fucking arse. We should have buried Bolton but our luck is still cursed until January, even so we are still above the redshite going into the new year so fuck them. Elleray has won the kitty for the first ref to book Rooney but he is just a fucking Gimp. Although we were still resilient against Bolton we missed Hibbert and le tie looked a bit rusty, I can't imagine why Moyes brought on alexanderson he was just like a rabbit in the headlights and should be fucking ashamed at his contribution compared to Wayne Rooneys. We need pressure for places so how did that Idle twat get a game. Stubbs and Weir - Since when have they become labone and hurst? Answer never. So why is Yobo not back in the middle? And bring in Peter Clarke? How far is Duncan off being fit? I think he would be awsome with Rooney. Lastly does Mickey Blue Eyes think he's fucking Tolstoy? Chris Simpson. (04/01/03)
