I was in Peru with my son walking the Inca Trail. Peruvians speak mainly Spanish but our guide spoke Quechua, the language of the descendants of the Incas.
After a few Cusquenas (local ale) she told us that the Quechuan for Red Shite was PUKA KAKA.
