What a depressing week-end it was for Evertonians. No game because of the Reading loss. I watched Bolton beat Birmingham, Utd beat Arsenal, Stoke beat West Ham and then ended up watching City beat Reading 1-0 in the boozer.
Reading played really well but the result was never in doubt. They were beaten by a powerful unit who just done enough to win the game.
But it then starts to dawn on you that Everton missed another golden opportunity to go to Wembley
It's when see you the draw for the semis that you realise to have the Manchester sides at Wembley is a kick in the bollocks to Merseyside. The power has seriously shifted to the other side of the East Lancs Road and it looks it will be there for some time.
Man U will hopefully win the 19th League Championship to shut the shite fans up once and for all while I read that City will be making their first semi final since trip since 1981. Oh my God. Money talks
At the start of the season we were all hopeful of putting silverware in the cupboard. But when you see Birmingham do it with the Carling Cup and with either Stoke or Bolton in the FA Cup final I suppose there is still hope for us Evertonians
Is that why we keep saying "Keep the faith"
