I Hope Yak Stays At Leicester

E-MAIL from Blue Peter

I watched Leicester against Notts Forest last night. It was a decent game with Forrest getting the upper hand in a 3-2 victory. It gave me the chance to see how the Yak was getting on

I was one of the Evertonians who couldn't believe that Yakubu was allowed on loan to Leicester when we were struggling to get a fit striker on the pitch.

Well like plenty of fans I should have trusted David Moyes. The Yak was poor, very poor. He was ineffective for the 53 minutes he was on the pitch before he was given the curly finger.

The Yak is supposed to like it at Leicester and he wants to stay so let's hope we can get a player in exchange because Leicester will not be getting promoted.

Andy King looks the main man and if we can get him it would be a great deal.

Have to agree with John Atkinson on this one the Yak is a good player that can change a game but as always are expectations are high and so they should be if they put on the Royal Blue!!! Andy King was in the words of How I met your mother...LEDGE-JEN-DARY!!!

I love the Yak, it wasn't the right time for him go out on loan. He can come on and change a game. People talk about him as they did of Super Kevin Campbell. Both are heros to me. I'd be chuffed if Andy King came in, as his namesake from the 70's/early 80's was my favourite player ever and he even signed my shirt at a local wellie throwing contest in Melling in 1979, with 'are friends electric' by Gary Numan beaming out all over the place! I'm babbling

A performance of absolute toilet that was summed up by his almost trademark body shuffle that we've seen him do with reasonable effectiveness to create space for a shot. This time, he did it with such vigour that he fell flat on his face. He's still a proven goalscorer to a naive manager so a few million, possibly 4 (granted, i might be a bit optimistic) and I'd carry the bulky git there myself. Like the article states, perhaps an exchange for Andy King. But he won't want to stay in the Championship, which looks pretty likely for Leicester.

Isnt the Yak about 43 now. He can stay there at Leicester and hopefully convince Anichebe to join him. The guy is totally ineffective and his football boots have been endorsed by Torville and Dean

The yak was sent on loan because he was disrupting team spirit.I heard he was being a bell end and Moyes had no choice but to let him go.

I have to agree with this e-mail, I didn't understand why Moyes let him go on loan, especially when we were struggling to score, but I wasn't one of the doom mongerers, who have been slating Moyes or Kenwright all season. Remember how many bluekipper style moaners were saying he's scored 4 or 5 goals in 6 games, well he's scored 7 all season so far! Once again, Moyes know the players better than we do! COYB!

Well put it this way, he's scored as many goals in his 16 games at Leicester than Anichebe has in his entire Everton career

Yak was rubbish and looked lazy and slow yesterday, i hope Leicester can find the money that we want to buy him cos it'll be tough now that there chances of making the play-offs are slim. A deal looked certain if they could get promotion but if they cant even make the play-offs then a deal looks dead. And i dont think a cash plus player deal involving King will happen, he's just signed a new deal with Leicester and it looks like he wants to stay for the forseable future.

Might be a good deal for you but not us, you have as much chance of getting King as we have of getteing Rodwell.
