I read in your match report about things not happening for Tim Cahill. I have to agree. I think for his own sake and for the good of the team he should spend some time on the bench. Him not scoring seems to be playing on his mind. His confidence is shot

He would be a great sub to come on in the last 20 minutes or so when he can give his all for a shorter period of time. It looks like he's trying to conserve his energy to get him through the game. Maybe his legs have gone as well

The one thing we don't want to happen is for the crowd to start having a go at him because he deserves better than that. He's been a great player for Everton and I still think he has a future but maybe not in the starting eleven

Why doesn't Moyes give him a go sat in front of the back 4? Good in the air, likes a tackle, would save his legs.

We love you Timmy we do, been a long time though mate waiting for the return of the original. Will he ever be the same? Don't know about that.

Tim Cahill doesn't need a rest he needs to retire! He is a shadow of the player he once was. Age has also taken it's toll on Phil Neville, Louis Saha & Leon Osman. None of them have the legs for the Premier League anymore. If there true to themselves they now it as well!

We all know Tim's blood is blue and he has always given everything for the club but things just are not falling for the lad of late. Time to give some of the younger lads a little run. Moyes needs to find the winning formula and quicko.

It's been said before... give Tim the rest of the month and early January off... to rest and repair his aching body. Get him ready for the FA Cup and use him off the bench. The guy deserves a rest and it will surely do him the world of good/

I actually think for the most part Cahill has played well this season, but has just been lacking the scoring touch. However, in the last two games he has struggled to make an impact and hasn't worried the defenders the way he usually does. A spell on the bench would do him no harm, and maybe coming on fresh against tired defenders would help him get a goal or two to get his scoring confidence back.

Tim to score the first goal on Wednesday against the Sheep Shaggers. At 5/1 worth a nice little tenner for an early Xmas present. Do it coz I for one am convinced he will break his duck in the last home game before the new year. FYI he is also 6/4 to score anytime in the game...you read it here first...COTC....COYB

Tim is my second favourite player of all my time. But I agree he needs a rest on the bench. I think at this moment if he spends less time on the pitch the goals will come back again.

I love Tim but have to agree, he needs something, be that a rest, or even some time with a therapist..As for Saha, he would just have to get on with it..Like every other player that has ever been time catches up with them all eventually..

I have to say I agree

I totally agree with all of the above points. Tim is starting to remind me a bit of Duncan Ferguson during his last season in that he knows what he wants to do, but his legs wont let him do it. All the trips with the Australian team over the years havent hepled either. Bench him and Saha too. Use them as impact subs. I am not sure how Saha would take being benched though.
