A special dinner is being held at Everton Football Club, Goodison Park on Thursday 1st March 2012 featuring extracts from the widely acclaimed stage production The Dixie Dean Story with Wirral actor Steve Hazlehurst in the title role and broadcaster and author John Keith, who wrote the play, as narrator.
After dinner entertainment will also include Darren Farley 'the voice of football' as he impersonates some of our high profile managers and players.

Tickets are just £30 each and are available individually or in tables of 10. This includes a drinks reception, three course dinner, after dinner entertainment as above and an opportunity to win some superb prizes in our raffle and charity auction.

Five years on from Alan Ball's sad passing away, Ronnie Goodlass is staging a tribute evening which will include the screening of an emotional DVD of Ball (left), speaking a few months before he died.
There will also be action of Ball during his Everton career on plasma screens around the room, being interviewed by Everton TV and quotes from supporters on Radio Merseyside when he left.
Former team-mates of Alan Ball will be present to pay their own tributes, with money raised from the evening funding Ronnie Goodlass' Health Through Sport scheme, an initiative to aid Merseyside youngsters from a variety of marginalised and disadvantaged backgrounds.
