never forget that day and as a teacher I Try to educate the young over what happened that day. Although it is very hard to put the events into words.Pleased Everton responded so well the following weekend, tying the scarfes from Goodison to Anfield. The 96 should never be forgotten.

The day when both sets of fans unite together to remember the 96 that didn't return from a match. I remember a small poem that was read out in school one day, sadly I can't remember it. I'll try and find on google and then post it here. I thought i'll never say this (or type this) You'll Never Walk Alone

The toss of coin put Liverpool v Forrest there, it so easily could have been us there.

Whichever team we support, we will never forget. Liverpool as a city and football were the losers. Too many officials waked away unscathed.

Isn't it just amazing that Sheffield Wednesday have never renamed the leppings lane end? maybe the Liverpool fans want it that way, i don't know. but i would have thought a change of name appropriate due to what happened. it sends a shiver down me when i hear leppings lane. As a Blue, I know sheff weds wouldn't want red seats in that end, but just maybe.. maybe.. in a hundred years time, people in sheffield and elsewhere are arguing about why they call THAT end of Hillsborough .. THE 96 END.
