Louise Holywell R.I.P.
3rd September 1997 - 17th December 2009
Louise fell ill around September 2009 and was diagnosed with auto-immune hepatitis. She had a reaction to her treatment and developed Steven Johnson's Syndrome. Louise ended up in Alder Hey intensive care unit in a drug induced coma.
She died in the early hours on December 17th 2009. She was 12. She would have been 13 on Sept 3rd this year.
What can I say about her. Her name was Louise Holywell and I'm proud to say a blue. My favorite picture of here is attached with her hero Tim Cahill.
She was my niece but so much more. Typing this is making me fill up. She lived with her mum and grandparents. She never knew her father. She was so special to all her aunts and uncles that she never missed him.
Lou's mum Carol, great aunt Rosie and aunt Bren - my wife, where blues but the rest of the family are uneducated and support them.
I have a season ticket on the Gwladys Street.. Through a combination of taking Lou to the game when I had spare tickets and blackmail I managed to bring her up properly.
She never wore their kit, only the royal blue. Her favorite player was Tim Cahill, hence why the picture means so much, especially now.
Its difficult to say what she was like because she really was so nice and lovely. Nobody ever had a bad word to say about her and I suppose the amount of people who miss her is a tribute to that. A lot of friends and family are still finding it difficult to believe she has gone.
Lou went at Broughton Hall school and had so many friends there as well as neighbors who all miss her.
She loved sport and was a real trier at everything she did. She also loved her music.
She was always willing to try things and was always there to help anybody even when she was ill.
I was diagnosed with cancer in July last year and was having chemo when she was ill. Even though she wasn't well she always asked how I was and gave me a hug.

Words cannot do justice to the pain the family and loved ones must feel and be feeling. As a new father I am upset about hearing of Louise's tragic passing and I only hope that the few words us evertonians as a family will be a small crumb of comfort for the family. She was a beautiful young thing.

A truly wonderful little girl described in what is obviously a piece written with the pain of her passing still very raw. How to come to terms with something so tragic I don't know. I only hope little Louise is in heaven with the angels as an angel such as her really belongs. God bless and rest in peace.

My thoughts are with you my friend. My words can never explain how I felt when I read what you wrote here, however I hope you realise having being a BK follower for 6 years this has been the first time I have ever been moved to write in. Keep strong my friend. You can't replace what you have lost but what you had is eternal. MH
