James Patrick Anderson R.I.P. - 16 July 1944 - 30 June 2009

A life long true blue boy who sadly died of cancer 30th June 2009, after a very short illness but we had a chance to say goodbye. My dad loved your website!

"Dad, the funeral directors told us they took the liberty of booking you into Anfield crem! We all instantly pulled a face! Mum said she knew you'd be writin your name in the dust to haunt us. The dear lady at the parlour didnt understand football and there was no way on this earth we would send you there, mum even had an issue with the crem red curtains, as you would".

"Your humour and love of the blues lives on in your kids and grand kids and their children to come. Evertonians are not manufactured, we are born. Nil satis nisi optimum".

The picture attached is my dad and brother Jay. We held my dad's 60th birthday surprise birthday party in the Everton suite at Goodison 4 yrs ago. He was so overwelmed and so proud. The bouncers even sneeked my dad into the directors box - he loved it! Julie Anderson.
