Aunty Kay R.I.P.

My Aunty  passed away this week aged 86.

Her name was Kathleen Ludley but she was known to her family as 'Aunty Kay.' She loved football and of course she was a blue. She was the kindest, warmest and most generous person you could meet and her passing has been a big shock to us all. We all have nothing but great memories of this truly special lady and we will miss her terribly. She lived by Goodison and loved watching the crowds of blues passing her window on match day.

Rest in peace Aunty Kay. The badge says 'NOTHING BUT THE BEST' and that is what you were. I am so lucky to have had an aunty like you and i will miss you always. Rest in peace. Love David, Viv, Alivia and Ryan x x x x

I didn't know your Aunty Kay and I don't know you all,, but Aunty Kay sounds a wonderful lady and as you say 'a Blue'. You should cherish the memories that you have and she will be at rest now as we all will be one day. I lost my aunty last week, she lived in Preston and supported Preston North End. She used to taunt me that Preston won the league before Everton did 1888! great these aunties aren't they? God Bless to you all, i share your grief X
