Steven Mitchell R.I.P.
Steven Tackles Eusebio

Yesterday we lost a true blue and a great Evertonian.

Steven Mitchell tragically died in a car accident he was just 34 years old.

Steven's good friend Bill Cooper notified us of the very sad news,

'I first met Steven on Soccer Brain 2000 when we were both contestants. He even came to support me in my semi-final. Everton memories - our coach trip to Liege (no sleep for 2 days!), Macclesfield 2009 - the road to Wembley started here. Wembley - twice! Lisbon - twice! Arsenal in the snow 2010'.

A great bloke who always had time for everyone else. He loved Everton and worked weekends DJing so that he could afford to travel all over the country.

Our condolences go out to Steven's girlfriend Lauren and all of his family and friends.

R.I.P. Steven

I have known Mitch as a singer working in his local pub, and a goalkeeper playing for my 7 a-side team. The thing he was most was an absolutley top man and a blue through and through. He'll be missed be all who knew him.

Mitch will be very sadly missed by his family and friends as well as all Blues in Skem and also all us Reds living in Skem. Mitch truly was one in a million, working tirelessly on the many charity nights he organised. But these are mere words of mine and cannot truly express the sadness his passing will bring to many people. R.I.P. Mitch - great man and great Evertonian. Peter Etherington
