Moyesy's
Fanclub
Enclosed snap
of the unofficial David Moyes Fanclub complete with "See
you Jimmy" hats and cautiously optimistic blueboys.
From left
to right, Dale Wright, James Reed and Charlie Holsgrove, having
just completed a nine day cycle ride from Lands End to John O’Groats
in aid of Sheffield Children’s Hospital.
Following
the birth of Dale’s son, Andrew, the young budding bluenose was
diagnosed with Hirschsprungs Disease and spent a couple of months
getting over a number of operations. The charity ride was Dale’s
idea of a big thank you to all associated with the hospital. It
was also an easy excuse for the lads to get away to recall 80's
glory stories and the best "Me Arl Fella Shouts".
Great site
- regularly piss myself laughing.

Hello
to all the Blues out there. In the most shoplifted book of all
time, the Bible, Jesus said; Happy are you who see me, happier those
who don't but still believe." That does not count for me here
in Cape Town, SA when it comes to supporting Everton FC. Happy are
you who can attend the games, but oh how sad for me to be living
amongst a sea of red-jerseyed shites, manc &@#* and Arse-creepers.
I am still happy that we can boast of 100 years in the top flight.
Please let
me know if any Blue Kipper "readers" are coming to the
Cricket World Cup. England are playing the Pakistanis at Newlands
here in Cape Town, 22 February 2003 and I would like to meet any
Blues, share a few lagers, Everton stories, and show them typical
Cape Town hospitality. Contact Craig via bluekipper
I met up with
Ian Bartholomew a few months ago, and boy I am still
pouring through programmes and copies of the Evertonian that he
brought along. I heard quite a lot of things about the club, and
that has stimulated me and a few of my fellow Everton United players
to plan a trip to the Mother Ship, Goodison. Craig
Knight. (13/10/02)

True
Blue from Singapore
Photo of Eric
Chong & his son Marcus from Singapore, his love of everything
blue began by reading the 'Shoot ' magazine. Eric came on his
first visit to
Goodison a few years ago, it was the last game of the season against
Boro'
.While on the Bill Kenwright express from London,( it kept breaking
down) he
met my brother Alan Miller, while stuck in siding in Coventry,
they finally
got to the game at half - time, to see us lose
So naturally
he is looking forward to his next visit to see a full match &
a few Everton goals would be nice.

We
all went to the charity shield match, 1-1…the poxy red shite scoring
right at the death as far as I remember…probably went in off Rush’s
big conk, the twat! (couldn’t see from our end of the ground).
Great day out though. Our dad wouldn’t let us go to the Bayern
game at Goodison!!!! Never forgive him for that!! (he said we
were too wee….wanted a piss up with his mates more like!!!). Great
days though….we’ll always follow the blues.
We
still go to the match as often as we can (we all live in Scotland
now). I was at all the Scottish friendlies, but have yet to make
it to Goodison this season (we will be there though!). Big shout
out to all the lads from Newton Stewart (Keith, Brian, Paul, and
all other toffees in South West Scotland) all the blues from Carlisle
(don’t mention the Anfield Hotel!!), Ian from Leeds and everyone
else who may know us!!
We’d
especially like to hear from long lost, fellow toffees, who used
to come to the games, in fact I’m sure they still go, just haven’t
seen them in years! Any chance you could mention them next to
the photo and we’ll see if they get in touch?

We
all know the trophies are the FA Cup & Charity Shield, but
Sting Ray wants to know what is the name of the other trophy?

I
was on holiday in Cyprus looking for some food and thought I'd
try our new boys' Chinese/ Thai place the "Fuck-it".
After
my Chinese experience I thought I'd go in search of our Egyptian
summer trialist, I found him selling photo's with his camel.

Hello
from NZ
This is a
picture of my son with Big Dunc Taken at Bellfield in 97. It was
my first time back in 18 years and my son who was born in NZ had
never seen the Blues live . First match was Arsenal and I cried
with emotion for most of the game. We went to every game in the
7 weeks we where back including the 2 nil win over the Red shite.
I was lucky( due to my son striking up a friendship with Micheal
Ball's younger brother) able to get in the players lounge after
the game. Did i give the Red shite players some stick. It was
great. I must admit Robbie Fowler took it in good spirit, but
then he is a Blue I believe. And a Toxteth lad like meself. Berger
and Ince where tossers. I shook Waggies hand and it was a great
experience. My only regret was not meeting Big Nev as he does
not drink. I even went to the Mini Derby and we won that as well.
I am coming home next year cause 18 years without my beloved blues
is to much. Moyes is the man and Rooney is our next Alex Young.

Here's one

It was taken on the day we beat Villa 3-2 last season when the
'Great' Dane netted. I was listening to match on World Service,
but they kept switching to some bleedin' match from Swaziland
or somewhere!! Oh Well
Keep up the good work

Everton
2 v 0 Watford 1985
|
Another
2 photos for your excellent site, taken before the 1984 final
v Watford. You may have seen this flag on the official EFC video.
The lady in the photo is my wife (still!), she made the flag
and is the mother of 2 young Evertonians aged 8 and 4 - Sam
and Kate, they'll be chuffed to bits to see these photos - I'm
the one with the daft hat - well it was fashionable then! The
guy in the suit must have been roasting it was a very warm day.
Regards Eddie Harbour. (07/08/02)
