Canadian Cousins

Had a great time on Saturday. Thought you might like this - our everton-mad Canadian cousins came over for their first ever Everton game on Saturday. I was worried when I saw it was the Derby as I didn't think we'd be able to get them tickets. Anyway, 17 members of our family went over and needless to say much fun was had by all. Our cousins don't really believe us when we told them it's not like this every week!!!

Here's a picture of us all back home after the game - 21 members of our family (all blue) spread over 3 generations. We've actually got 4 generations of blues at the moment but they couldn't all make it up for the Derby!

Hisaronu, Turkey

Here I am in Hisaronu, Turkey with the owner Alex. The bar is obviously called ‘Alex’s Bar’ .

I gave him the shirt on the condition he removed all Red Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiite shirts from the bar. Alex duly obliged- although he probably replaced them the next day.

Lesotho

Was wondering if you'd post these photos on your great site. The Missus and I were out in Lesotho last year and upon walking into the bar of the Malealea lodge where we were staying, the barman took a fancy to my shirt.

As he told me he supported Arsenal, I wasn't just going to give it to him. I told him I'd be in the bar for the rest of the night and if he could name me 5 Everton players by the time I left, it was his.

As you can see he took the shirt of my back, literally!!!!!! I was sat outside around the camp fire and didn't see the Sky News bulletin that had been on with big brawl involving most of the players and Palace I think. Like shooting fish in a bucket he wrote down the names from the back of shirts and reeled them off to me..... Fairs, fair. I gave him the shirt (I was a bit sun burnt and happy for the fresh air!!) and made him promise to follow EFC from that point forward. He looks a proud Toffee....

I count myself lucky to have to see this gentleman play many times for our club. Everton Supporters Club Northern Ireland 20th anniversary dinner

They were taken in Belfast for the Everton Supporters Club Northern Ireland 20th anniversary dinner. The special guests were Graeme Sharp and Ian Snodin. In the pics are me and my dad. There was talk that Davey Moyes was to arrive but he was signing Andy Johnson at the time!
