Jogger's
Snapshots is for all you photogenic Evertonians to show the world how
fantastic you looked when you wore a scarf around your wrist all those
years ago. (Last week in some cases). Or send a photo of you in Everton
Blue on your travels around the world. So send in your photo's of you
and your mates decked out in those silly bobble hats at Wembley, or
hobnobbing with the players, or better still, send a photo of your mate
looking a right Dick, and Jogger will gladly put it on this page.

Everton
Supporters Club 1953

I
read with great interest, the story of the first
Everton Toffee lady, & thought you might be interested
in the photo I've attached. It was taken at the Everton supporters
club, 1953. I'm 2nd from left, top of picture, & the lady
bottom of picture, just right of centre, was the first Toffee
lady to walk round the pitch. her name is Mary. Sorry cant remember
her family name, her husband is 2nd from right top of picture.
I've been a supporter for 60 years. I'm trying to find out the
exact year. It was a war time game, & Everton beat Blackpool,
7-1. I'm now 72, & living in W. Australia. Best regards, Bill
Fletcher. ( Blue till i drop) (28/09/06)

| Vietnam

I
have moved to Vietnam and the second bunch of pics show me using
the occasion of the British Council World Cup forum to spread
the word again. Spot prizes were awarded throughout the evening
to anyone able to answer questions like
What
shirt am I wearing?
Who
scored two goals for Australia the other night and what team does
he play for?
Who
plays left back for Portugal and which club side does he play
for?

Istanbul

|

I
was working in Istanbul and spreading the word for three years
and couldn’t believe it when Everton rocked up for a pre-season
friendly in August 05. I guess it was a warm-up for our Chumps
League adventure and so it proved to be as we lost 0-5 and Dickie
Wright and Davey Weir performed their mime definitions of inept.
The pictures came out crap but the one of my mate having ‘a turn’
seems apt for the day out. Turks were queuing up to have their
pictures taken with us from after the fourth goal went in. They
need little encouragement in believing their own hype and were
convinced that after seeing off Everton 5-0, who had finished
above then Chumps League holders, the Chumps league was there
for the taking. Graham

Stratford,
Ontario
We
went to see my niece's family in Stratford, Ontario in July.
Her brothers back home in the UK have tried to influence them
with gifts from the "dark side". However her husband,
Sashko, is a blue so we took him and their son, Alexander, presents
of Everton shirts etc.
The
attached photo's show Sash, Alexander and me outside the Stratford
theatre with them proudly wearing their pressies. Note the statue
of William Shakespeare wearing Sash's Everton cap. What a guy!!!
Great site lads keep up the good
work
Best regards
David.

Hair On Derby Day
My
son James and his friend Phil were celebrating Tim Cahill's goal
in the derby from the Gwladys street end when they took a photo
of themselves on their phone. It was not until they got home they
found a rather sad looking person in the back ground. Looks like
he got in the wrong end ha ha ha.

Would
