Bruce and Sheila

Bluekipper bumped into their old mate Lee McNamara, whose brother Paul and his lovely girlfriend Michelle were visiting Blighty from Melbourne Australia. Sheila and Bruce as we christened them took in the Blues victory over the shite as well as Everton's defeat of Luton before flying home. As you can see their favourite player is Tiny Tim, and here they are all doing their worst impression ever of Tiny's famous punch, the Upper Bullens, will never be the same again.

If any Blues can't get to any away games get down to the Chaser in Fazakerely were Lee will have the Blues on, he asked us to say !! (03/11/06)

True Blue

True Blue is a phrase that is used a great deal in the land down under. Went to the Australia and Paraguay game at the more than impressive Suncorp Stadium or Laing Park as it is also known. This is a ground that is in a suburb not unlike Walton. The design and layout is excellent and a lesson for those who would like a new stadium away from Goodison Park. No obstructed few and holding I think over 50,000. The atmosphere at a very mediocre game was pretty Luke warm and the expectations where pretty high post world cup euphoria. I enjoyed the game but the level of knowledge and lack of humour demonstrated for a football crowd was appalling. Could not but think that if a stadium like this was filled with Evertonians what an atmosphere there would be. Take note Mr. Kenwright don't move the Blues away from there spiritual home use a little lateral thinking and re vamp Goodison Park. Tim Cahill and Lucas Neil where stand out players and they where not crash hot. I am often asked by many armchair and foxtel supporters of the Man Utd. Chelski and Red Shite why I support Everton. I have tried to explain. They have not a clue, and I don't care. True Blues are chosen not manufactured. Thanks for a great site.

Great Wall of China

Here’s a pic taken last week of Dad and I and on the Great Wall of China. We’re both season ticket holders but I live in Beijing so I’ll only get home for the Newcastle game after Christmas.
